“Such amazing food and wonderful service. We called close to when they were closing and they still happily told us they'd deliver. We thought the food might be dry or scraps because we called 20 minutes before they closed but no, we were so wrong. The food was super fresh, and the noodles were juicy and the portions“

“AMAZING!!! This place is genius and delicious. I wish it were located closer to home, but well worth the drive. Prices are great, food is incredible, and to top it off...VEGETARIAN!!!! I'm far from vegan and love Chinese cuisine, so this place giving me the great taste without the negativity of eating a lot of meat...perfection!“

“We have been going to this place since my daughter is 10yrs old. New owner upgrades the place looks so amazing, very clean and bright. The staff are very friendly, fast service and accurate taking orders. Food so delicious everything is fresh. Price very reasonable or I should say affordable. When we are lazy to prepare our dinner, just go straight to Bale Valley. I highly recommend Bale Valley to you all, those who been to this place 100% agreed with me.“

“Food was great. Orange chicken and grilled bok choy was tasty. Large portions. Not sure what they are going for as fast atmosphere, kinda like a military chow hall. Metal cups? Odd.Had to ask for some items twice. Will return for those big portions, will have lunch for the next day.“

“How have I not been here before?!?! I came here with some friends to celebrate my birthday. We got so many different items and everything was delicious! The spring rolls and fried shrimp were the perfect appetizer. Then we got Mongolian beef, low menu, fried rice and tofu with eggplant. Every single thing we ordered was delicious! We sat at a large table with a giant lazy Susan so we could all get the items on the table. There is a huge parking lot and lots of tables inside. I can't wait to come back to try the other items on the menu!“

“Located in a nondescript shopping center of Agoura Hills, CA (Hwy 101 & Kanan Rd), is a Chinese restaurant: Mandarin Lotus. They've been here since 1988! The food was delightful, the owners were welcoming, and we are already looking forward to our next visit! Dinner hours only. First visit? This is what our party of two tried and we didn't leave a morsel behind: -Mango Tango Rolls -Kelsey Grammer's Orange Chicken -Vegetable Fried Rice -Red Bean Sesame Balls (dessert) The plating of each dish was thoughtful and lovely. The combination of fresh ingredients, sweet & savory flavors, and non-greasy entrees, piqued our tastebuds and had our appetites yearning to try more. For our next visit, we have our eyes set on ordering a tofu dish, wonton soup, and the spicy tequila shrimp. I would consider this a gourmet Chinese fusion restaurant which should appeal to a diverse set of tastebuds. The menu is pretty extensive, which also includes a full page of vegan options and unique spice combinations we are not familiar with, but open to try. The average price per entree is ~$25. Customer service was wonderful! Thank you to the most welcoming host and owner, Kim, and to Chef Chang, for the delightful dinner!“

“Went there for the first time for lunch the other day. It was good food but not life changing. Their menu does look interesting they have some health options. We will be back to try more items in the menu. The service was a little slow for the amount of people there. But we agreed to give it a second chance.“

“First, this is really a very authentic 1960's era cantonese ( & more) style good ole Chinese Restaurant. So, when you walk in, prepare to enter a time machine. Now the "young" gentleman who runs this place is very friendly & welcoming. We've been in the area for a long time & chinese restaurant shopping, as we LOVE hot & sour soup & the last few places we've ordered from were disappointing, so we had seen MK for a long time & ordered some take out. FANTASTIC.... good size portions... yummy egg rolls, DELICIOUS hot & sour soup, yummy bbq ribs, chicken chow mein & beef pea pods. Everyone's prices have risen, but the amount & quality for the price here makes this one of the best classic chinese restaurants for us !!!“

“This has been our go to since 2009 Food: everything here is really good especially their orange chicken Service: great Ambience: it's clean HOWEVER, the quantity of the food they give now is less when we first tried them out. They are becoming to be like Panda Express serving size.“

“I've come here a handful of times when I'm craving black bean noodles and it's consistently a good experience! Of course the jajangmyeon is a favorite, and they offer additional radish if you ask! And then we always get the sweet and sour pork which is always freshly fried and never dry. The Jajang bap was new for us but it was better than I expected and would get again if craving rice.“

“I came over around the afternoon, after being done seeing customers walking out with stuffed bags. I finally decided to try the food. The staffs are really nice, the food is BUSSING.I would definitely recommend the teriyaki chicken, spicy beef, or black pepper chicken. For soup, it would be miso soup, egg drop soup, wonton soup, and the beef noodle soup. If you looking for a crispy snack i would say the cheese wontons. They're super crispy and flavorful. The cheese is warm and melts inside your mouth. I would say the best combo would be steamed rice , shrimp and veggies, with teriyaki chicken. The chili oil makes everything taste 10x better! Be sure to ask for extra or you'll regret it.THIS IS NOW MY GO-TO PLACE FOR LUNCH!Kid-friendliness: They are super friendly with kids! They also have a couple toy capsule machines for kids! ( tattoos, balls, mini keychains, fake gold accessories, and more! YOUR KID WILL ENJOY THIS PLACE!“

“Amazing soup dumplings that are larger than din tai fung, pretty good for a place that calls themselves modern cuisine. Servers and hostesses are super nice and made accommodations for food allergies. Great place for a quick and simple lunch. Thanks TJ!“

“The food there is amazing using very traditional methods of cooking food. Plus most of the time no one dines in anymore it's really a shame because everyone there is so nice the waiters will get you everything you need plus it is just a nice spot to take the family. It is not the cheapest place to dine at but the quality of the food is amazing.“

“I recently dined at P.F. Chang’s and had a great experience thanks to our server, Nicole. She was attentive, making sure our food arrived hot and our needs were met promptly. Nicole’s professionalism and attention to detail made our meal enjoyable and comfortable, much like eating at home. I would give the food 4 stars because Im a tough critic but the service from Nicole was definitely 10 stars! Highly recommend if you’re looking for efficient and friendly service.“

“The food here is excellent with marvelous flavor. However the service is very slow-paced. It is part of the ambiance; kicked back and low stressed. Each time I've returned, I would give the same review, which is why I would come back; like I wrote the food is EXCELLENT. If I lived nearby, take out would be smart.“

“Came on a weekday, and it was pleasantly quiet. The beef lomein was a bit greasy, but despite that, they give you a generous amount of meat, and it was so tasty.Funnily enough, I overheard someone on the next table complain a chicken dish had too much meat and not enough vegetables, which seems a bit silly. My partner ordered sweet and sour chicken lunch special that came with rice. It wasn't too sweet or too sour compared to most places in sure it can be adjusted if asked.Overall the price and the amount of food you get was spot on, and the price is as is on the menu which is great if you're not use to the final price hidden behind taxes or gratuity after you get the bill.“

“On Sunday we ordered takeout. We ordered spicy noodle soup . Unbelievable depth of flavor and texture. A bit spicy but the taste was far beyond my 74 years of experience. Amazing taste and intriguing flavor. Next we ordered the 703 shredded pork with Beijing sauce and the Szechuan shredded pork. Both had a great taste and flavor. It seems that almost everything on the menu is very good to excellent. Service and staff are always very pleasant except when very busy. My other regular soul is seafood hot and sour which is great on a cold night. Please give them a chance. You will enjoy there offering s.“

“Best little hole in the wall Chinese food restaurant I've been to in a long while. The portions are always great, the pricing is completely fair and the food tastes amazing. It's been 3 years since discovering them and I'm still in love!“

“With the understanding that this place is a simple Chinese take-out joint, I'd say my experience was solid. I've been to several Chinese take-out spots in the immediate area and honestly, this is probably the best one. They give you the biggest portions for the price, and the flavor was on point. Another spot on Sherman Way was just "okay" and a popular spot on Saticoy/Tampa was overrated as hell. This place gave more portions and had better taste. The ladies in the front serving the food were very nice and overall, I'd go back. I'm giving this place 4 stars because at the end of the day, it's simple Chinese take-out. You know what you're getting yourself into with these hole-in-the-wall take-out spots. But for what it is, it's solid and better than other take-out spots in the area. At the very least, you're getting your money's worth because they pile your plate with food.“

“The food is absolutely delicious. Always delightful. Looks similar to any diner atmosphere, but with awesome choices of food or plates. One plate or all you can eat. Several dinner choices with extras. I always get #3 so I get a good selection of extras like a couple of fried shrimp, an egg roll, etc. I also like the white rice which I add to my bowl. Just a hint, pile your bowl to about double the size, like piled as high as you can, because the food really shrinks when it's cooked. The first time I went I didn't know, and I ended up with a half bowl. Now I end up with leftovers.Vegetarian options: The bar of fresh veggies is plentiful and even has a spaghetti noodle on it. It has water chestnuts, mushrooms, onions, spinach, broccoli, etc.Parking: The parking lot fills up at the beginning and end of the karate classes next door, but generally right in front of the restaurant they keep cones in several places for the restaurant parking only, move the cone and the parking is yours.Kid-friendliness: They've always brought a bowl for noodles and veggies that your child may like. They also have several options of sauces so you can add a sauce from plain to very non spicy options, to very spicy. You make the sauce to their liking.Wheelchair accessibility: On the first floor, with many tables that have chairs they can pull away for you to pull up to. You can always tell someone with you what you'd like, or your server can help you. The veggie bar is about waist high, so you might need the help.“

“Best Chinese restaurant in the valley as far as I'm concerned. I usually get the sweet and sour cod, though the Mongolian beef also rocks when I'm in the mood for something darker. Nice ambience and quick, friendly service. I've been here several times, as well as their other restaurant in the Granada Hills area, and I've never been disappointed.“

“I had never eaten/been here before and I decided to get some take out for the family. We got chicken fried rice, spicy chicken dish and BBQ pork appetizer. The pork was moist and flavor was great. I am not a huge fan of sweet sauces it was more for the kids, but I really enjoyed it. Diced Chicken with Schezuan Garlic Sauce was not what I expected but really enjoyed. I thought diced would mean grilled, but it was fried. It was really yummy though. It had really different great flavors pop through and nice heat. Looks like they have a lot of spicy dishes so I look forward to trying more.I think they have all.you can eat in house. Might be back soon with the family.“
“This place has personally been the best Chinese joint i've been in, truly a hidden gem. (Packed Proportions and a generous price with Quality Of The Food Superior) panda express should strive to be more like China express. Great mom and Pop business Friendly staff Style of the restaurant is vintage Always a good experience and that is why I'm a reoccurring customer I recommend chow mein Mushroom chicken with red barbecued pork and Rangoon“

“This review is specific to their Dim Sum, which is offered daily. Overall food is good, the spicy wontons and chicken baos could use a little more seasoning. Recommend the Turnip Cake and Siu Mai. Attentive service, overall a quiet lunch spot.“
“The restaurant is always so clean and the patio area is beautiful. Can't expect anything less from Calabasas. The food is always made fresh to order and the staff is always so kind. They know who I am once I walk into the store and have my order ready for me to pick up. Great Service!“

“Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised with this place. We paid $45 for the family meal which came with 3 entrees, 2 cartons of noodles, 2 of fried rice, 6 egg rolls, a pack of almond cookies and fortune cookies of course. The chow mein and orange chicken was my favorite. I wasn't too impressed with the entree selections but we opted to try the mushroom chicken. **Heads up be careful it has bones in some of the pieces..not sure if it's supposed to or not. Overall, we enjoyed it definitely more than Panda Express and will be back.“

“I'm giving Panda Express 4-Stars simply because they are consistent. I don't come here much. But when I do have that occasional craving for Teriyaki Chicken, Orange Chicken, or Beiing Beef, I know they will deliver that same taste I need. It's like when I just need a Big Mac once in a while.“
