“Been there multiple times - our favorites have been the rolls and the lobster tacos. Also needs to be paired with the fries and tater tots half and half mix. It’s the perfect meal. Parking is the only downside. The lot for that building is super expensive so we usually spend a couple extra minutes finding street parking. But it’s worth it for really well-priced, fresh, well-seasoned lobster and crab meat- and really friendly service!“

“What an incredible hidden gem! We were craving Italian food and decided to check out Al Italiano. Walked in on a Tuesday night a little before closing. Eddie and the owner Robert greeted us warmly. The menu has some great options and we were indecisive what to order. Our waiter Eddie is a first class professional and answered all our questions with patience and in details. His recommendations were amazing. We ordered Eggplant Parmesan, Veal Piccata, Children’s cheese pizza, Salumiere pizza and their homemade Tiramisu. Everything was excellent and so tasty. The whole experience at Al Italiano was outstanding and unforgettable. Robert is a great business owner who actually cares and treats you like family. His whole staff is very respectful and helpful. The ambiance is very Italian and welcoming. We found a true gem! Thank you Robert, Eddie and staff! We will be back soon!“

“I found this place looking for good food, and it is the best I have eaten in the SF Valley, the pupusas and the breakfast with egg and chorizo (they were my choice) have authentic Salvadoran flavor. Unfortunately I don't have photos to show but if you visit this place you won't regret it.“

“Been coming here for years since I was in college. Love the food and the people behind the counter; they’re always so welcoming and cheerful. I’ve only had item from the vegan menu, because I think they’re much better off the bag. I recommend the yellow curry - with soy chicken - if you don’t know what to eat here.“
“The food is phenomenal but even better is the service! The staff here are over the top fun, friendly and eager to please! We will most definitely be back. Highly recommend and is now one of my favorites!“

“A rating for health inspection, which is hard to get when you have a buffet. This is a little out of the way, but I am WOWed.I saw the sign for 11.99 buffet with 30 items to choose from. So, I obviously thought, probably garbage, but for the price, I'll try it.I walked in and was immediately greeted by the host. He seated me right away, brought me water, and kept it flowing.Key things I loved right off the bat. Naan and Garlic Naan are served as part of the meal. Chai is also served as part of the meal.At most places they will give you water, but no other options unless the price has gone up for a weekend style buffet. Also most places will give you Naan but if you want garlic it costs extra. So, we were already off to a better than 2 star rating. Now the buffet spread. Everything was clearly labeled. One other thing I liked is they kept the vegetarian dishes on one side and the meat dishes on the other, as to not mingle the foods by accident. My friend had a hay day about that one time we went to go eat.I tried a little of everything.I have to say the only thong I wasn't super impressed by was the chicken curry rice option. The flavor was a little on the bland side and it was a bit oily.Otherwise everything was fantastic.Top Dishes:The Eggplant and the Chiken Tiki MasalaActually I'll say the Chicken Tiki was fantastic. Most places use mostly milk, yogurt, water, with spices and a little sugar to make this happen and you can tell its liquidy instead of thick and rich. This was yogurt all the way with a hint of milk to make it slightly less thick. The seasoning on the chicken with the rich creamy sauce come into your mouth and sets off those feel good neurons which make you say, "More please!".There are 4 types of dessert and don't miss the orange carrot puree one lingering in the back, because it is quite good.I'd expect a buffet like this to be around $16.99 or higher. Exceptional quality and service. If the map says 3 miles away... drive the 3 miles!“

“I've been here twice now and I must say I am very pleased. The first time I got one of their pastas I got the rigatoni and spicy vodka sauce and it was a creamy delight but just the right amount. I went again for my moms birthday Friday night and ordered the Parmesan crusted halibut and it was perfectly cooked, moist, well seasoned, and cleverly balanced with the amount of parmesan on the crust of the fish. Their wine list is wonderful too providing excellent reds/whites/roses from highly rated regions so the pairings with the food helps balance out the flavors nicely. Very happy with both experiences and would highly recommend this place!“

“Hands down best burrito(American style) in the valley. The soup is a hidden gem as well, I would say it is one of the best things on the menu, no matter what you get atleast get it on the side. Owner is also very nice, polite and professional to everyone. This place is small but he made sure that everyone was taken care of personally and had everything they needed and keeps the place running on a tight ship. Worth a try no matter what.“

“Had a wonderful time for a bridal shower. Unfortunately we didn't get to take advantage of the beautiful patio due to the weather but they created a beautiful indoor space for us. The food was delicious, highly recommend the ahi tacos. The black beans were a bit bland though but everything else was tasty.“

“Hadn't been here since 2022 when I had an unpleasant experience with the branch. Decided to give it another shot with visiting family and had a much much better experience this time. Food was expectedly great; customer service now 5 stars. Shoutout to manager Andres for his kindness and honoring store credit that was offered back in 2022. Really made me and my family want to start dining here again.“

“The place is very big and looks great but pretty empty. So you lack the vibes you get on other LA steakhouses. The food is ok. Starters were not that good, steaks were ok and the sides were the best aside from the mash potatoes, which was nothing but creamy. Great service, but I'd rather go to other steaks houses that are more traditional and have the right vibe.“

“Although we had a reservation, we did have to wait a bit for our table. The wait staff was attentive and knowledgeable. We each ordered one of the evening's specials and were very pleased. The bone-in NY steak with onion rings, the brisket with potato pancakes & green beans, and the halibut with sauteed spinach did not disappoint. Devastatingly, what DID disappoint was the bread. Say it aint so, but after many, MANY years, your fav (and ours) hot, soft on the inside, crispy on the outside sourdough bread is GONE. In its place is something dry and barely edible. Praying Monty's sees the error of their ways and switches back pronto!!“

“We didn't see our server until we had been sitting for 10 minutes. We did receive water by other helpers. Our server was very young and felt inexperienced which is not what we would expect from this restaurant. Other times we have had more seasoned, older servers which worked much better for us!“

“OK, maybe a 4.5 star. I have been going here for decades. The menu is diverse offering seafood, like most don't. This isn't the bad cooking smothered in mole sauce and delivered to your table like others. I think the current star rating is not a good as they really are. The reviews are pretty old, so I thought I would update mine. Will be back this week.“

“My new go to pokey place! I love that they have kelp noodles, and you can order online with toast and get rewards. Glad one is closer to where I live and I don't have to drive to Northridge for the other location. I'm very happy with my online orders here thus far. they even ran out of a scallops and added an extra scoop of salmon in place- very happy that they did that. Food is always fresh and yummy!“

“I went last night for my father's bday, and as usual it's still the best sushi restaurant I've been too PERIOD. I got the chance to meet one of the co-owners and had a great discussion with them! Everyone there is always kind, fast yet caring when serving any and all food and/or drinks. The food as usual is just top tier and has never not been consistently amazing each time. I URGE anyone who wants sushi to give them a call, reserve a table, and just enjoy. I can't wait to return. If anyone wants any recommendations, here are our orders (in order of when we place them). Again, this is just preference, everything is amazing. We are a party of 4 and DEFINITELY, can eat. First order: Edamame (plain, spicy, or both), shishito peppers, spicy tuna with crispy rice, extra ginger and wasabi. Second order: 1 order Tuna, salmon, and yellowtail nigiri, 2 orders of albacore(each order of nigiri usually comes in 2 pieces so keep this in mind), and a spicy tuna roll. Third order: Roasted jalapeño role, lemon role, creamy Langostino roll, albacore lovers role, and got sushi role.“

“Amazing place, low prices, great food. You can buy it steaks, salmon, pork, or chicken either cooked or uncooked. It's a butcher shop that will cook it for you on the spot. So good. And a big assortment of fantastic side dishes. Tables to eat there or do take-out.“

“It was my first time here, although I'm allergic to everything from the sea except fish, which I only eat 3-4 times per year, I was able to find something that I could digest. The chicken tenders with lemon pepper fries are a must-have!! Coming from the Caribbean, the seasoning used for this dish is one I've never experienced. This plate can be ? so be careful!!!“

“First time trying this place and the food here was amazing definitely worth a try if you want to eat something different. Veggies is good, meats are juicy and delicious, I will deff be going back at least once every other month. Because price is crazy expensive! Service was fast and on time. Lastly the ambience is non-existent due to it being a food truck. So it's next to a gas station.“

“This place is that your definition of a hole in the wall. It's a cute little restaurant with really great service and shockingly excellent sushi! I went in there for lunch one day not expecting much and left a fan. I can't tell you how many times I've been back since! I consider myself to be pretty bougie when it comes to sushi and this place meets all my needs. Shout out to the sushi chefs, Fiat, Tom, & Tan!!If you're picky you won't be disappointed. Unbelievably fresh sushi, amazing quality, and let's not forget they put the plates out with beautiful presentation!! I highly recommend I tend to order some of the more expensive stuff but they have a menu that will suit any budget!“

“One of my favorite Mariscos places. The shrimp coctails are soo packed with shrimp unlike most places that give you 5 or 6 shrimp.. Both the Fish & the shrimp tacos are huge. They give you free chips and Salsa when u dine in and The salsa is so good I always go through 2 bowls! The service is fast and the girls that work there are super nice. Been going here for 20 years. It is CASH ONLY but the 711 next door has an ATM. It's also kind of small so it gets packed quickly depending on the time and day.Parking: This place is in a small plaza with many small businesses so parking is usually full but there's a lot of in & traffic so if you wait a couple minutes you should find a spot to park.“

Alex offers great recommendations too! highly recommend to give it a try. Like it better than Anantra thai, exotic thai, and thai fusion bistro“

“Hold in the wall joint that has a decent food selection with.....wait for it.....KARAOKE! Spanish and English songs. Few residents eating, drinking, and singing every other song. Full bar; but don't come with high expectations. Remember, the more you drink, the better everything tastes. Hubs and I had the whole fish, butterflied. Seasoned well, large cut vegetables (potatoes, bell peppers, and onions), and it comes with tortilla. Pretty tasty until you get to the skin. Skin was almost raw to the point where it was slimy. Eeeeekk. I lost my appetite. The filet, however, was fully cooked. It was enjoyable, while it lasted. My favorite part of this place was the ambience, my Hubster. People here are non judgmental, and just there to have a good time. Having said that, we made our time there memorable. Ate, drank, and laughed. We even danced. Overall a nice joint to take the night away and make memorable night to relive when the time calls for it.“

“Nice little mom and pop Thai place in Chatsworth. Their soups are really tasty, in addition to their fish dishes! “Yes! Great, casual, t shirt & jeans spot for a date, families, tourists, work lunch, etc. When you walk in, right off the back, everything is extremely well taken care of. The place is spotless, tables & chairs neatly placed. You get a sense of how structured & organized it is. On this occasion, I was greeted by the two "kids" working behind the counter with a smile and a hello. Bonus points there. They were really friendly at walking me through the ordering procedure. And it is pretty simple once you place your first order. They'll walk you through it. I highly recommend the Hawaiian tuna and the regular tuna. The salmon is also fresh as well! Can't go wrong there either. An oddball was the scallops marinated in mayonnaise. Maybe a little too much mayonnaise, management if you're paying attention. But worth a shot as a protein if you want to try something different. I still give this place, the service, the food 5 stars. The only thing that I would like to see changed is the 50 Cent extra charge for the eel sauce. I mean come on? 50 cents? I guess it is what it is. But it would be nice if it was included as one of the normal sauces offered had no extra charge. Just to quickly summarize the food here. It's delicious! It's everything you expect in a poke Bowl. I think the real value is getting the Monster Size, where you get to pick five proteins. The serving size of each spoonful is definitely more than what you get at other places. Also, I went with brown rice this time, and it was extremely well made. Nice chew to it, not overcooked, not salty at all. It tasted magnificent with a nice nutty flavor against the fresh Hawaiian tuna, and all the other toppings I threw on my order. The edamame is fresh, brightly colored, the seaweed salad wasn't too overly sweet, and I have to highlight the Masago and Ginger being brite, fresh and tasty. Parking: piece of cake, especially on a afternoon. Lots of free parking all around. Just keep an eye out for an occasional homeless guy walking through. Where don't you find the homeless these days, right? Would I come here late at night, probably not. Just because of that one homeless person, or two. But during the day, mid-morning through about early afternoon, you should be fine. The only other odd thing about this place is that it faces due west. So in the late afternoon, that sun is so strong about an hour or two before sunset. So eating outside can get interesting if you don't mind being in direct sunlight. There are no umbrellas, very little shade at all. I will definitely be back here. One main thing I would love to see happen is if this place opened up a second location, or moved entirely to maybe a different spot like at the Commons, the Topanga Social, or maybe the Topanga Village. But they have to keep the prices as is, please. In summary, what makes this place great is that it's good quality food, made to order, at an affordable price. If the pricing goes up, you lose the essence of what this place is.“
