“Great experience at this restaurant. Yummy food that is beautifully plated, attentive, and friendly staff earned 5 stars from me. We had the braised pork shank that was so tender it fell off the bone! Also enjoyed the Mussels and shrimp Piccata. The lamb meatball appetizer was a bit dry, but the flavor was great. Otherwise, our meal was wonderful. I'm looking forward to returning to try more dishes!Parking: Right next door“
“Came for dinner when we couldn't find any other restaurant open after a night of line dancing. How lucky we did! We still haven't stopped talking about how delicious the deviled eggs were or how we wiped our plates with our fingers to get every morsel. The only thing we didn't order was our table - it was drafty and cold.“
“Last night we had the privelage of dining at Localis for the Returning To Thailand - A Story of Redemption menu. This was the best meal of my entire life. Chef Chris and his amazing team have outdone themselves. From start to finish I would not have changed a single thing. Every bite was pure bliss and at times I felt myself get emotional. Some people eat to live but I live to eat meals like this. If you have ever been on the fence I urge you to treat yourself to an experience at Localis. Redeemed is an understatement.“
“Dietary restrictions: They are very accommodating for dietary restrictions. I’m gluten free. My boyfriend is dairy free. Every time we eat hear there are always options and sometimes they can make things specifically to meet our dietary restrictions. They also have the best gelato and sorbet.“
“We had a very pleasant dining experience at Canon. The menu is not extensive but still offers a nice variety of options. We appreciated that there were some unique and creative items on offer. For example, we were unfamiliar with lamb pave, but gave it a try and loved it. Our waitperson, a young woman, was very knowledgeable of every item we inquired about and made some excellent recommendations. The large platters are intended for sharing. Even the small plates are good sized. We are early diners and enjoyed a quiet ambiance during most of our meal. As we were finishing, the noise level had matched up significantly. We will definitely return.“
“Absolutely lives up in to the hype. I’ve been to tons of Michelin starred restaurants but The Kitchen is DIFFERENT. It’s somehow a mix of Michelin quality food/service while maintaining a rager atmosphere. When they say you can walk around the kitchen and ask questions, they really aren’t kidding. It’s an incredible experiences. I can’t recommend enough,“
“We enjoyed ourself at the Oyster Bar. Our waiters were super attentive, Alvina gave great recommendations & made sure our needs were met. We will be visiting again soon!Parking: Accessible parkingKid-friendliness: Great music & friendly atmosphere“
“Tower Cafe became a favorite when I moved here 25 years ago, and remains my go-to place for good food, good service, and wonderful atmosphere, indoors and out! The shaded garden dining area is a year-round pleasure, and the eclectic art from around the world displayed inside creates an endlessly fascinating environment. Plus, I've never had a dish I didn't like there! Easy to find, easy to park in the large lot shared with the theater, Perfect for a tete-a-tete, or a gathering of family and friends.“
“We love this spot in Midtown, Sacramento. Its a true veggie paradise, as you can always get fresh local veggies with great pairings and sauces. I think it's nice when you can find a nice restaurant that has a variety of fresh, from the Earth food options. And to that point, mostly those options. It's a good break up from most restaurants who focus on meat and processed/fried options first. We loved the crudo, as it was a nice balance with the citrus and oil. The carpaccio was also amazing with the bread that was firm but not break your teeth hard.Wine list is great, middle of the road to not break the bank but some delicious choices. We went with the CA Pinot and were not disappointed. We've enjoyed brunch here too, also a great option!Staff makes you feel like you are eating at their house, they are polite and definitely passionate about the food. You must go if you haven't and my review sounds up your alley.Vegetarian options: Many fresh options!“
“The food here is great in this cozy little diner. They do have two rooms of seating and counter seats as well. I love the eggs benedict and hash browns extra crispy. The staff is super friendly and the environment is casual neighborhood eatery, enjoy it there!“
“This is fine dining at its best. The timing in your order is on point. The bar can make any drink taste amazing. The food, my duck was more than fulfilling, the best I've had in a long time.Great for any occasion. You've got to come here!“
“Hook & Ladder always delivers a great food experience! Where else can you get chicken liver mousse on pan-fried thick country bread, with cherry mostarda? The monthly featured shrubs are delightful and fresh. It’s very nice to be on the secret garden style back patio again in this weather.I love reading the whole menu to discover their creative cocktail names.“
“This place goes Kau-rayyyzyyy! Warm and comforting ambience, fantastic service, exceptional dishes and an awesome host running the floor…emitting an overall welcoming, fun and chill vibe. Possibly the best version of Eggs Benedict I have EVER had and don’t even get me started on the Chicken Long Rice-this dish for me felt made with love and soul! 20/10 thank you all for the amazing brunch and overall experience! ✨? “
“Nice waterfront restaurant floating on the river, with beautiful views and great service. I just ate the best lobster sandwich ever. I lived in New England area and have had lobster sandwiches there and in other parts of California, so I have had experience. Cole slaw was also delicious! I definitely recommend! I am coming back the next time I fly into SMF!“
“The service was especially good, and the food was really quite excellent. Portions were fine, not too small. Not cheap, but not at all unreasonable, as far as expensive restaurants go. A terrific choice for the special occasion of your choice.Vegetarian options: The waiter told us the chef would be happy to put together a vegetarian entree, and it did not disappoint.“
“We found our new favorite place to eat!! These days, every restaurant we go to has high prices and the food is from boxes or frozen! Every time I get a burger, the servers tell me they are frozen patties!!! Why would I pay $20 for a frozen patty burger?? Well, this is NOT THE CASE AT RIVERSIDE CLUBHOUSE!!!! This place is home made, from scratch, OUTSTANDING food!! And the prices are SO reasonable!!! The service was fantastic, the food was hot, fresh and came to our table in 15 minutes!!! I had the Baja fish tacos and then creme Brule for dessert!!! Phenomenal!!! My husband had their HAND MADE bacon burger, and then the lemon cheesecake!!! Mouth watering!!!!! Don't walk, RUN to Riverside Clubhouse for your next meal!! You will not regret it!!!“
“Quite solid for the area. Caesar split was more than enough. Two 8 oz filets with strong sides. Decent wines (I had the Faust). It's not Mastros but it's not priced like that either. Cool small desserts (key lime was the best) so you could try a few.“
“Gluten free fryer & so many delicious options! The ? burger is always incredibly satisfying & perfectly cooked. Gluten free bun is top quality & yummy ? fries ?Dietary restrictions: Gluten free fryer & delicious gluten free ? bread. Celiac safe!“
“Four of us enjoyed a wonderful experience last night at Moxie. From the crab appetizer to the mouthwatering desserts, the evening was fantastic. The host, the service, the generous portions of food, and the atmosphere were glorious! The presentation of each course was amazingly prepared. If you want a special night out, Moxie is the place to go!Parking: Going early there was no problem on the street near the restaurant.“
“We’d been wanting to visit this spot and was truly impressed with the creativity and presentation of the food, the spot on yet easygoing and approachable service, and the impeccable interiors. We’ll be back for a date night one day soon.“
“Went for the first time for our 33 anniversary. The services and food was amazing. The focaccia bread and butter were extraordinary. Even the Butter was awesome, creamy and best we've had. The beet salad was a piece of art, both to the palate and to my eyes. Tomato onion soup was outstanding. The entrees of scallops were good but the duck confit casserole was incredible. Perfect portions. Water glasses never got to half empty. Great experience and staff made it very special. Thank you to all of the Waterboy staff, made the night special.“
“I'm sorry I don't have a yelp but **please read my review*** I just went in and was greeted by Steve and Cole. Amazing staff, the dynamic duo. I went alone and they made sure I didn't feel alone. Cole addressed me by name and both were consistently checking in on me. Great food, great drinks, reasonably priced and best of all the music and atmosphere was 10/10. From mcr to sotd. Small but cozy. 12/10 experience. Please don't go anywhere!“
“The atmoshere is great, the food was good not great. The service was good, but we were kind of waiting a while after we told him we need a minute to see what we want. The wings could be better specifically the sauce for the wings (buffalo). I asked for extra aioli on my burger, but did not receive. The all gender bathroom needs to be inspected and cleaned, as there are boogers on the wall... disgusting.Vegetarian options: They have vegan substitutions for some of the item on the menu.“
“Pros-Mango Margarita was amazing tastes just like a mangoyada-Beer options and selection were great definitely try the blueberry muffin flavor while it lasts-Jacob and Vanessa the bartenders made our evening so much fun. They were so sweet and attentive we had a blast with them.“
“Best cocktails in town!!Hands down!!Amazing prices for happy hour!I've been a bartender for over 10 years and never have I wanted to try all the cocktails on any menu before till I came here!I had 4 different ones..Definitely coming back to try the others!Even the mocktails my friend ordered were goodThe small bite were delicious alsoWe reordered some! ?I thought the bill would be in the 200's and it was only half that! All the drinks and small bites we hadI was happily shocked on how low the bill actually was!4.7 stars I rate would definitely be 5 stars if the bartender/owner smiled more and tried to be lil more social if they have time.May i suggest they leave the anchor glass pitcher with the guest for the short water glass to be refilled quicker.“
“Very enjoyable dining experience. It's in a residential setting and appeared closed as we drove up. After further investigation, it was indeed open.Food was quite excellent. We had the halibut (special) and the flat iron steak. Both were prepared to perfection. Halibut was crusted with a pistachio mixture, and served with green beans and potatoes. The steak was in a wonderful chimichurri sauce and served with delicata squash. Good selection of wine and beer.“
“Kupros is always a nice place to hang out, eat good food and they have a great selection of beers or a full bar if you're after something stronger. I've been there for parties and to just relax and enjoyed both experiences!Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian options!Parking: Decent sized parking lot across the street“
“Every time that I’ve been out partying at the Mix it has been nothing but exceptional. Thanks to the professionalism and great care of the staff. I would give more than five star stars if I can. Big shout out to the Vip Host Ashley, who is wonderful on what she does.“
“Nestled in the heart of Sacramento, this hidden gem of a restaurant has consistently stolen our hearts with its exceptional offerings. Boasting a seasonal menu that celebrates the freshest farm-to-fork ingredients, each visit is a delightful journey through the finest flavors. The culinary team's prowess shines through in every dish, but the standout for me has to be the seasonal scallops over risotto. The innovative twist of changing the risotto with each season adds an element of surprise, making it a tough task to choose a favorite. Yet, somehow, each rendition manages to surpass the previous, leaving a lasting impression of culinary excellence. The intimate ambiance of the restaurant sets the perfect stage for a romantic evening. Dim lighting, cozy corners, and window view create an atmosphere that's both sophisticated and inviting. It's no wonder that this has become our go-to choice for elevated date nights. Moreover, when we have guests in town, it's the first place we want to showcase - a testament to the restaurant's universal appeal. What truly sets this establishment apart is the extraordinary service. The warm welcome from the moment we step through the door, orchestrated by the owner and his attentive staff, is unparalleled. The personal touch, as the owner takes the time to walk through and greet each table, adds a special charm. It's this level of commitment to customer experience that transforms a meal into an unforgettable dining event. In a city filled with dining options, this restaurant stands out not only for its delectable cuisine but also for the complete experience it offers. For those seeking a perfect blend of seasonal delicious cuisine, intimate ambiance, and impeccable service, this culinary haven remains unmatched. Each visit feels like a celebration, making it a top choice for creating lasting memories.“
“The food was delicious!! I had the New York Steak and it was perfect with the most delicious sauce and mashed potatoes! My partner had the Octopus and he was pleasantly surprised how good it was..cooked perfectly. We also had fried eggplant and beet salad for an appetizer, it was all delicious. It was Valentines Day dinner so it was a limited menu, I am really looking forward to coming back and trying some of the Afghan fusion dishes which were missing from today's menu. Our server Imani was great too, very attentive and sweet.Very satisfied with our first visit!“
“Pros-Amazing service, food was top notch, intimate setting. The bacon wrapped pork tenderloin over a bed of cauliflower polenta was amazing. Nice drink menu. The hibiscus mock-tail was smooth and flavorful. The carrot cake is highly recommended Great date spot Cons-NOISY even the waiter was annoyed how loud it could get at times. It's pricey beware I would definitely go back“
“The food is great, the flavors are on point. The wait to be seated is reasonable and expected during the weekends; however the wait time after being seated is very long even when there are not that many people. I would suggest take out instead of dine in.Kid-friendliness: There is a kids menu and the atmosphere is appropriate for children/families.“
“I love this place. Went to another great concert. Ozzy and Van Halen. Great everything. They have people serving and they were quick and efficient. I didn’t have to wait they keep the water coming. They sound was great the people were great everything again was a 5 ⭐️ for sure! The bathrooms were clean everything was GREAT! Great place to have a safe great time with friends and family and strangers who became friends thanks Swabbies for another wonderful time“
“Ordered a large box (four sandwiches and condiments) for a lunch event at the local high school. Staff was very helpful over the phone and had everything ready when I arrived. Everyone agreed the sandwiches were delicious, and I was very happy with the whole process.“
“Busy for an hour wait, food came out after another table that sat after us. Overall ok food for the priceVegetarian options: Vegan and vegetarian optionsDietary restrictions: Dairy and meat free options, gluten freeKid-friendliness: Kids menu and cups“
“I ordered food from the restaurant about twice a month. The food is always good and reasonably priced. The portions are quite big. I have been going to Capitol Casino for about 10 years and have always received great food and great customer service.I used to sometimes purchase cigarettes at the cash counter. I was always in and out. I had two very friendly pitbulls with me all the time. When I would go in I would tie them up outside. Although I always had bottled water with me, I thought it was sweet that the security guards would bring them water and would be playing with them and would bring them water. The security guards were always kind to my dogs. Unfortunately, they were twins and were 16 years old and passed away 4 months apart from each other. The security guards always remembered me and my dogs and were very kind when I told them they had passed. One went out of his way to console me, because when he asked where my dogs were I found it hard to speak and I started to cry. He probably doesn't know this, bit his kindness got me through a tough spot that day. It was a sad day when one of the guards was shot and killed while doing his job. I think everybody in the community was sad.“
“My husband and I love this place because first of all, the vibe is everything! The bartenders are top notch and friendly, make excellent drinks, and we enjoy watching singers and singing as well. The crowd is diverse and there’s no cliquish fee to it. It’s just plain fun!“
“We came on a busy Saturday afternoon just after 1pm and was busy. We were greeted right away from the host and what seemed like a manager. He was very attentive and after we were given a 35 minute wait, they had us seated in 15 minutes. Natasha was our server and she was sweet and attentive. Gave good recommendations and service was amazing. The omelette was delicious and full of flavor. My mother and grandmother had the Monte Cristo and it was very delicious. Had a hint of sweetness and was very good. Definitely loved this experience and will be back.“
“We had a good breakfast yesterday morning. Food was delicious! My wife enjoyed the French toast and I the scrambled eggs with bacon, potatoes, and toast. I love that they griddle their toast, it's a nice touch. Service was attentive and friendly. Ambiance was pleasant with a window table.“
“I went here for my work lunch yesterday and tried the blackened salmon which was the daily special. The salmon was perfectly cooked and everything tasted great, I liked the broccolini and avocado with the salmon as well. It wasn't crowded inside so you could definitely walk in for lunch but we made a reservation. It's nice inside but you could dress casual. There is lots of metered street parking outside and a couple garages nearby so unless you can walk here you'll likely have to pay for parking. I would come back here and try the other salmon dish on the menu or the short rib.“
“Been here a couple times and love the chill environment. The bartenders are super knowledgeable, make well balanced drinks, and are cool to talk to.Haven't come in for late night but the dance floor looks cool and they have a lot of seating“
“1st of ALL, Kristine was the bomb bartender. She made a drink after talking to for however long it took. We talked about rum and which would be best. I didn't feel rushed and I Loved my drink. Before I shared I was industry, she was someone I would hire for my own business, no matter what I did. She is naturally yhat good. To top it off I love Flamingo House and Darling Aviary, they never fail to make me happy. Come to both, Say Hi to Kristine, and whoo-saw. Enjoy your life.“
“My partner and I I decided to celebrate our anniversary here and we had nothing short of a truly amazing experience. Our server and bartender Rhiannon was absolutely wonderful and kind and completely attentive and made sure we had the best experience possible. It was a bit slow when we came in before the dinner rush time and she even went as far as asking us if we'd like any specific music to be played during our visit. The atmosphere was quiet and nice, perfect for the romantic evening we wanted. The restaurant was clean and beautiful. I loved the options for seating as well; if you wanted a booth, table, bar seating, or even the cozy lounge type seating area.. they have it all. The food was phenomenal. We ordered the Chicken Piccata and Wild Mushroom Bucatini and were more than satisfied with presentation and taste. My partner doesn't drink but ordered the n/a lemonade and is still craving more of it a day later. I ordered a drink I can't remember the name for, but it was vodka, strawberry and basil and it was beautifully refreshing. I definitely and HIGHLY recommend this spot for a nice date night or night cap with a solid drink. They even have events like trivia and an industry night for us industry folk! Shout out to Rhiannon again for making our evening as wonderful as she is!!“
“Food was great (veggies were cooked but still firm and tasty, salmon was nummy - could have been cooked less but I'm a snob, pilaf was great), not too spendy, wait staff was not only patient with my allergy questions, they were very attentive without hovering. The bar is very typical of a hotel bar, open to the lobby and elevator areas, but even with a game on, still pretty chill. And there's a POPCORN MACHINE!“
“Amazing desserts! I've been going here for years , it's one of my favorite spots in Sacramento. The carrot cake, the tarts, the cherry pie, the endless assortment of treats here are phenomenal and the customer service is excellent. Highly recommend!“
“I was with my students for convention in Sacramento. We stopped at Cafeteria 15L for breakfast. Although I love to support small businesses, I was extremely grateful for the no wait list, and ample space to accomodate 6 people. The service was impeccable. Our server was very attentive to our needs and time. I truly wished I had remembered her name correct but I think her name is Becca? I ordered the Cafeteria skillet and it was slightly salty because of the cheese but it was absolutely delicious nonetheless. The tator tots were very crispy. My student who ordered the pancakes commented on its flavor and fluffiness. All students loved their food. I would definitely be back and highly recommend this place.“
“Parking: Busy during happy hour and rightfully so. Their HH cocktails are very reasonably priced. Only flaw of this visit was the Brussel sprouts. Too much stem which causes bitterness. The sever was kind enough to take it off the bill. Will go again.“
“This is a great place to come and relax during the day, catch up with friends and enjoy some really delicious food. Sitting and eating by the river feels so peaceful and luxurious.I highly recommend the nachos as an appetizer, the pickled onions on top really made them extra delicious! Also the Cubano sandwich and BLTA were extremely satisfying for my friend and me, the homemade potato chips are a nice change up from fries and add great texture to the sandwiches. We went on a Sunday around 230-3pm and there was plenty of seating available outside but by 4-5 it started to get crowded.“
“We loved the Public Market Bar prior to seeing Six the Musical! The food was delicious and the restaurant in the Grand Sheraton was beautiful. I highly recommend the chips and French onion dip. My only complaint is that there are not enough gluten free options. The only clearly marked gluten free items were Appetizers and that is not enough.“
“Hit up the bowling alley after a Rivercats game - spur of the moment decision on the walk back to our hotel. What a fun end to the night. Bowled a few games and had a few drinks. The gals at the front desk were great and got us in within a few minutes of arriving. The bartenders were nice and attentive. Had a great time.“
