“I am only sad that I didn't take a photo of my food before devouring. I got tacos de papa last night and they were bomb!! Soo good. I wish it would've came with more. My plate 3 tacos and all yummy toppings and the green salsa was my favorite! Tacos were perfectly crispy and stuffed with great flavor. It was pretty cool that I was able to pick up from a locker and unlock it with my phone. Will Try anaheim location before heading into disney today.“
“Let me start off by saying .. i LOVE mexican food. However, I am really not a fan of birria tacos or tacos in general, but I've tried birria tacos before. This is my first time trying this spot and since I was in the area, I thought I'd try. They specialize in birria tacos, so thats what I ordered.Food - the tortilla was perfectly cooked as well as the birria. It was tender and delicious. It is perfectly seasoned. You can really taste the beef. Usually the broth or consome come oily (from other places), but theirs isn't so it wasn't heavy to have with the tacos. The sauce (green salsa) was perfect. It isn't spicy but has a little kick. Also had a taste of their horchata drink which surprisingly ... was very good. Service - I got my food pretty fast, but I probably came at the right time. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The owner himself is very involved and greets the customers nicely. I believe they do delivery too so thats pretty neat.Good truck to have a date with a friend or SO. Go try it!!“
“Wow! Don Churros Gomez in Anaheim is a true gem! The churros are out of this world, with a perfectly crispy exterior and fluffy interior. The variety of flavors and fillings is impressive, and the dipping sauces are a nice touch. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is vibrant and fun. Highly recommend for a sweet treat or snack!“
“We hired the truck for the end of my sons' double birthday party and it was a total hit! It is pricier than your average white van ice cream truck but OC Ice Cream is way more than average. They have great options of ice cream and candy. It was the highlight of the party!!! My sons even got to go inside the truck and explore too! Jose was super kind and sweet.“
“We have used La Carreta for two birthday parties and my friend used them for his wedding. Absolutely love their tacos and everything they have to offer. Can't wait for the next opportunity to use them to cater an event.Kid-friendliness: Catering / Bday Party: My toddler loves the potato tacos, quesadilla and the rice and bean.“
“Food is great and salsa is perfect just like in GDL!! Customer service could improve and adding a menu with prices would be helpful. The last 2 times I was there Ingot quite a lot of food it came to be about $80 seemed right, second time Inonly got 1 torta and 1 order of tacos dorados with carnitas on top and a jericalla;they charged $35! I thought it was $25 which seemed little high but then I realized I was charged $35. So, I would go back but this time I’ll be asking how much is everything to avoid being overcharged. Maybe regulars know their prices, but not all of us know. Also, note they only take cash.I remember I used to buy from they when they first started with their truck and the son of the owner was really young and was very nice. Now time has passed and I guess business is great but he’s whole attitude has changed towards costumers. Not hating simply sharing my experience.“
“I found Moonwood Coffee in the same shopping center of a coin shop that is awesome to visit. I ended up wanting a treat and some coffee, so I walked over. The storefront has a bit of an awkward entrance away from the other business doors...but keep walking to find it because this spot is totally amazing! I ordered a cedar cinnamon iced latte and the espresso was absolutely perfectly paired with the cinnamon and brown sugar flavors. They enhanced each other perfectly and my husband who doesn't even like coffee or espresso very much was also addicted. We tried a cinnamon roll, which had this flaky dough and well balanced frosting that was not overly sweet. I was in love with that. We also tried an almond bear claw, which I thought was just ok but my husband loved it even more than the cinnamon roll. There were tons of other treats here as this is also a bakery and they do catering! I would highly recommended checking it out. The decor was also really cute and service was perfect. Just be aware the shop is small and there is minimal spots to sit and enjoy inside or on the patio, so plan on taking the treats to go ideally!“
“Tried this Italian restaurant last night with family and it was great! It is Southern Italian food with the spice you would expect. The Bolognese pasta was incredible and different than your traditional red sauce you get at most restaurants here. We also shared a couple pizzas and the braised pork. Can't wait to go back and try more!“
“Everything Made Fresh, The carnitas & chicharrones are my fave? Everything is Delicious Y las Micheladas Sheeesh ?? mouth watering Good??, An Those fresh warm frijolitos refritos with them tortillas hechas a mano ?? i can go on With all the Great food they Have Highly “
“First time coming here, but visited based on familys recommendation. We arrived and there were only 2 ppl in-front of us waiting to order. Happy they take credit cards and apple pay. Lady at the order table was quick, not super friendly but we weren't there to make friends. We placed our order and it was ready in under 10 minutes. As we were leaving, the line got really long. We visited around 7pm. Parking can get hectic so better to park at cvs and walk across the street. Now as for the churros, they were hot, slightly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. We loved them! Will come back.“
“Wish I lived closer to have Carmen's be my daily coffee stop. I can't stop thinking about the banana foster latte I had. Toasted butter and real banana no artificial flavoring or syrups. My next try will be the eggnog latte if I can make it before the season's over. I also hear my friends talking about the strawberry latte. Can't go wrong“
“Oh my god. First time at this food truck and I am absolutely blown away at how delicious the food is. It's a food truck on a side street. They do seafood instead of the usual meats. I got a shrimp taco and two tostadas, one shrimp ceviche and one octopus. First of all, even in a to go order, the presentation was beautiful. Now for the ultimate test, the food. AMAZING. I will tell you right now this was better than many of the sit down, fancy places I have been to. Huge portions of shrimp ceviche and octopus for the tostadas. The shrimp taco had three huge shrimp that were lightly fried, with the perfect amount of cabbage and sauce. The tostadas came with a huge pile of tortillas and each at least 8 oz of both the ceviche and the octopus. Flavors are spot on and tasty. All topped with a generous serving of avocado.I am so happy and full right now. Tacos and tostadas can also be therapeutic you know. I'll be back for more of those tacos!“
“Will always recommend this place to anyone. Fast, amazing prices, and great food. The tacos always have delicious spices and loaded with onions, cilantro and salsa. Staff remembers their customers and are so nice and respectful. Do not leave your car in the street with blinkers on though. It's a neighborhood and I see people do this all the time there is plenty of parking please park your car instead of taking up half the road.“
“tacos dorados very good. spicy green salsa. enjoyed ensenada fish and also shrimp taco as well. taco governador was terrible. not griddled enough, cheese not melted. very very sad version of this type of taco that i usually love. they were getting pretty overwhelmed and confused with the orders even though it wasn't super crowded. food took a long time.“
“**This is for the catering service (me as a guest).Office building used them for their tenant Christmas luncheon. Food was good, service was excellent, atmosphere was work place patio so—ya know.Office offered both savory and sweet crapes but I only had banana/Nutella crapes. They offered lemonade, coffee, water for drink. It was free for us so I don’t know the price but I enjoyed it ✌️“
“The BEST tacos ever and you wouldn't expect it from a small truck-cart. The al pastor is Sooooo flavourful and they give you grilled onions with it. The salsa verde is perfect and super spicy which is great. Our go-to is the quesitaco de pollo y de pastor con todo. It is 100% worth“
“I LOVEEEEEE this place. I have been loyal with this taco truck for 8 years now and they never let me down. The tacos are always fresh and seasoned really well. The chef and his staff ara số nice and helpful. Eating closeby each other on the street makes me feel like home, really cool!“
“Great fish tacos! Very reminiscent of how we make them ourselves at home - with love. Not usually a big fan of vegetarian food, but their vegetarian tamales are BOMB. If it's not super busy, they grill the tamales to finish them off so you get a crispy/crunchy exterior - what a texture. The corn flour itself is not wet and dense like most places but a little crumbly - perfection. We got them naked without all the "preparation" add-ons on top (which looked a bit too Americanized to me).Vegetarian options: Vegetarian tamales with cheese“
“Hands down the BEST churros in OC!! After tasting freshly fried, authentic churros in Sayulita, Mexico last year, we've been hunting for the best churros in OC. Churros Los Cuates is the spot! They make the dough and fry them to order! The churros are fresh, chewy, crunchy, and soft. The workers/owners were super nice and friendly. Highly recommend trying them out!! Make sure to check on IG before you head there. The worker/owner said they are booked for events often. Park at the Stater Brothers.“
“Food is made when you order. You get it hot and delicious. Since it is made when ordered, it takes time. Well worth the wait. I do recommend calling to place an order. Cemitas are awesome and gorditas de chicharrón presado delicious. Super highly recommend“
“Having been a loyal patron for years, I can confidently say that not only does this taco truck serve delicious food, but the staff is always incredibly nice and welcoming. Whether it's my go-to asada burrito or trying something new from their menu, the quality and service remain consistently excellent. I love it!“
“Something to note: Elohim & all of the taco trucks in the area used to be located on Grand ave, but have recently relocated to Harvard St.I absolutely love getting Elohim crepes for dessert after having tacos for dinner I love love love crepes and the price of $9 for unlimited syrups and toppings is such a steal. Personally, I prefer not to overdo it with toppings, so I just get nutella and strawberries every time. If u pay with cash, there's no extra fee, but if u pay with card there will be. I believe the fee is relative to how much you spend, so it can range from $2-$3 but I don't mind. The wait can get pretty long later at night, so I'd recommend going closer to opening if you don't want to wait. These crepes are so fresh so there's inevitably a bit of a wait, but they're warm, moist, and soft as a result. My favorite crepe spot ever!!“
“I was craving ostiones preparados. The only place in Long Beach that I know of that made them closed down. I found this truck on line and drove to Santa Ana. They were sooooo good. It was worth the gas and time. Next, have to find a sarandeado place and a langoustinos as well.. the closure of El Rey del Sarandeado was a loss for Long Beach.“
“Decided to venture a little further North in Orange County. Stumbled upon a little park with a slew of food trucks parked on the road. Each truck was brightly lit with neon signs and even music. Parking: there is street and lot, be careful not to enter through the exit as it may puncture your tires! Service: quick and simpleMenu: it's a number system; I ordered the number 2 (which is an order of 5)I walked down the block to check out the other trucks and to my surprise each truck had a little something different so I'm excited to come back and try the rest. I got my order, walked back into my car and to my surprise I had a little more than 5 churros so kudos to them! Perfectly fried, right amount of sweetness, and chewy but pillowy soft center. I cannot wait to go back. Try it! You won't regret it!“
“Yesterday we tried Tacos El Panzas, we had the carne asada, tripa, cecina, al pastor, chorizo and chori queso tacos. I loved how the tortillas were crunchy with the grease of the meat. All the tacos were good with the exception of the chorizo and tripa, I felt it was missing something. The chori queso was good the cheese gave the chorizo that extra flavor. The green salsa was the bomb . The reason I give it the is the tripa and chorizo tacos. They were missing something. Other than that the other tacos were yummy“
“Taqueria Azteca is delicious. I just love taco trucks. My go to is Al Pastor and my boyfriend gets Carne Asada whenever we go to taco trucks. They are both decent good options to get, however, they are not close to the best tacos, and therefore, I give them four stars. Both meats could use more flavor but I would definitely come back and get the same meats again if I'm in the area. Don't forget to get Salsas, Limes and Radish. They are located west of N Euclid St so the location on Yelp might be a little off. You can park on the street for free next to the truck. There was no wait went I went on a Friday night around 9 PM. Service is friendly. I don't remember there being any seating. You could stand and eat or eat in the car. I chose to take it home and eat. I think they only take cash so don't forget to bring that. All taco truck prices have gone up in the past years and they're all in the same price range, price here is fair like others.“
“I got their meat mix and bought some bratwursts individually here at the met they come down here every other week and it was fantasticMeat was tender and chicken was juicyLamb was very goodThank you guys for your wonderful food here at the met“
“The BEST Açaí bowl I've had in Orange County (And I've been to a lot of places ) Always super delicious and loaded with good stuff and the portions are very generous! I highly recommend the Peanut butter, almond butter, and tropical bowls!“
“My boyfriend and I were in Huntington Beach for Labor Day weekend and before leaving we searched Apple Maps for a taco truck. This one was the first one that popped up & we went for it seeing that they had 4.5 stars on Yelp! Let me tell you, soooooo good! We happened to go on Taco Tuesday so they had a 5 for $5 special on the tacos! They're regularly $1.50 each which is still super cheap. They were amazing and will definitely be back when in the area! Service was great too!“
“A hot summer day in Chicago doesn't tend to scream "birria tacos!" and yet I found myself eating at Chela's with a friend. The establishment looks small outside (there is definitely limited parking shared with a Subway sandwich shop) but there is a lot of seating. The service was great- the waitress was very attentive and the cashier was very nice. There are complimentary tostadas and sauce brought to the table and the birria tacos are fantastic! Multiple salsas are provided, but the tacos are spicy themselves. Highly recommend trying them out.“
“Such great home style cooking. This place really brings you back to real and comfort cooking. What we purchased- I ordered the menudo. Whenever your sick, fresh bowl of menudo does the trick. That’s what I got. It was so flavorful. The tripe is so fresh and perfect. It doesn’t have any hominy which is the best because I don’t like it. I’m more of meat and soup kind of person. So this was perfect.- Birria combo plate! Perfect!! My husband ate this. It was soo much food and also great for left overs.- Ham and egg taco. It was so nice of the server and the chef in the back to make my toddler ham and egg taco. My toddler devoured it. So he really liked it.- Side of rice and beans. My toddler loves rice and beans. What can you say he is a growing boy.- Shrimp taco. I wanted to try this. Don’t judge me. Yes I ate this too. What can you expect. We came here hungry.- Horchata. Delicious. My toddler drank this whole thing. HahahahaOverall a great experience. Love the salsa bar. A hole in a whole vibe but really worth it. Definitely coming back since fall/winter is finally here.“
“The tacos, yes! They are just as good as they look on on yelp my only con but something that could be a personal taste is that the tripa is cut too big. But the potato is to live for. Well mixed, cheesy, buttery and a nice portion of meat. Oh and amazing selection of salsas.“
“One of my favorite places out here in Santa Ana for mariscos is this spot here always fresh great tasting mariscos had me the tostada mixta and some aguachiles ?? fire bien picosos los camaranes Como siempre bien satisfecho.mariacos el primo is the spot check then out on ig or pull up..“
“Ordered 6 tacos total around noon time.Waited about 5 minutes for the food come out.Host taking the order was very courteous and very informative of all salsa selections available in their format. They also ask if you'd like salt upon wrapping up the order which is pretty cost effective. The flavors of asada 4/5Al pastor 3/5 Quesabirria taco 3/5Cabeza 3/5 (bit greasy)Packaging 5/5Pricing is fair about 2.25 per TacoSpicy salsa is really hot! I'd recommend going 1 tier lower to truly appreciate the meats more. Will be back some time to try their other protein options.“
“Great food. Friendly staff. Clean. Efficient.Lots of choices but usually roll with tacos. Burritos on point. 4 salsas to self serve from mild to xtreme hot !! Carrots and pickled onions complimentary also. I usually call ahead & wait time 10 to 20 minutes 》》 gracias“
“I can only speak for thr torta. Its in costa mesa so dont expect it to taste authentic mexican. But i believe their target audience is for white people that want mexican food. All good tho. Salsa roja not spicy. They also sell hamburgers. I mean service is great and its not crowded. If you want mexican food 4 stars. If you want mexican americanized food 5 stars. YT: The Nava Tribe“
“Definitely a must try came down all the way from Canada and would return again. I had the lengua and Asada taco and both were spectacular very flavourful and the meat melts away in your mouth. To compliment the taco I also got a Elote Asada and I have to say it was the best I’ve ever had, not to mention great prices for what you get no cheaping out on anything.Kid-friendliness: Super happy, energetic and welcoming staff !Parking: Easy to find parking right by the truck“
“I tried this place because I missed the flavor of Mexico City tacos DID NOT DISAPPOINT( also good place to go after a hang over) Santa Ana locations is open both Saturday and Sunday so I get to grab a bite early in the morning before work ! 10/10 recommend this place and the workers are super nice and friendly always ps the salsa roja is SUPER SPICY !“
“I got a Torta of Carne Asada (a beef sandwish). It was super tasty. They accept Zelle and Cash. They have some stools outside to wait for your food or eat there. Given that the truck is on a side-road, you can easily park close to it.Superb place!Parking: The place is close to a residential area, so you can easily find parking anywhere closeby“
“I've lived in SoCal all my life so I've had my fair share of taquerias & taco trucks and this place is my fav! Prices are reasonable, food always comes out fresh and hot, salsas are delicious and actually spicy, and service is fantastic! They're parked in front of a park so there's plenty of parking. Asada, pastor, and lengua are my go to meats. Be sure to ask for carrots and grilled onions!“
“They were catering a wedding I attended and it was so good I asked them about possibly catering for my upcoming work function. They were so easy to work with. They tailored their program to meet our needs. They were on time and items were executed as discussed. Working with them was so far the best outcome out of all of our past experiences. I would definitely recommend reaching out and seeing if they can create what you are looking for. Their food program is on point and I wish I had easier access to them on a more regular basis. They are a gem for sure!“
“this is probably the best taco truck I've been to in OC! Friendly service by Rodolfo and his wife always, the salsas are amazing (esp the avocado salsa), and the prices are reasonable! A hidden gem, definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area.“
“It's great. Price of food was not posted but I'd say it's good value. I would have bought more types of food, but was scared of high prices. I bought 3 things, and it fed 3 people. I wish I tried the clam chowder. Calamari was about 10 bucks. Great value.Lobster roll was about 20 bucks. Good value.Large Mac and cheese with lobster is 20 bucks. Ok value.“
