“My wife and I stopped in here a few weeks ago for a quick bite while we were in town to have a few of our dogs groomed in the area. What a great find. The atmosphere was friendly, and the bartender was the only one there, and told us that the wait for food may be a bit longer due to this. This was not so, as he did such a great job making our quesadillas, while still tending to his bar, and our food arrived faster than most "fast" food places. He also talked my wife (a wine enthusiast with a gin martini preference on occasion) into a margarita. She was very impressed, and when I ordered an alcohol free beer, he turned me on to the NA Heineken (who knew?) which was also awesome.On a quick note, when we left, we took some of our leftovers and what was left of a container of sour cream, only to notice when we arrived home (1.5 hours away - yes we love our groomer this much!) that the container was not a to-go cup, but an actual dish from the establishment, oops! Luckily we had another appointment the following week for another one of our dogs, so we stopped in and admitted our theft. Their appreciative response to our return of the "stolen" property was genuinely the best reaction with teasing and humor. I highly recommend this venue if you want a good drink or great Mexican cuisine, and if you visit on a day that we have dog grooming, you will likely find us there!“

“I love this place! Petro is the best bartender, chef and server. He's an all-in-one, been-there and done-that kind of guy. The atmosphere and back patio cannot be beat. Plus the history of the place is just so evident in the photographs and posters, the dollar bills pinned up all over the place and the regulars who come in and hang out.Enjoy the ride and stop by Plainfield Station!Vegetarian options: Petro listens to your request for vegetarian food so long as you say it respectfully and clearly.Dietary restrictions: Petro is happy to help if you are friendly and respectful. “Great bar. Bartenders are nice don't get me wrong the only thing is they should at least acknowledge you when you're waiting and let you know that they will be right with you. Order 2 drinks it was $28. Kinda pricey to me. Would I come back again. Yes but not every weekend since the drinks are expensive. Great place to hangout thou. Almost forgot. They could use some better music too cuz I started falling asleep in there cuz of the music.“
“Food is super good and the mimosa carafes were tasty and affordable! That being said, it can be hard to find seating because it's a smaller space and the staff at the bar were rude when we went. We would still go back for the food, but they should be more considerate of people who haven't been there before and don't understand which counter to order at and how the line works.“
“I ordered catering from Tommy J's for an event, and they were so easy to work with! They were very responsive and worked with a wide array or dietary needs. Everyone loved the lasagna's from the catering menu (we had one of each kind), the garlic bread was delicious and the portions were great. They included all of the utensils needed to serve the food as well. The vegans loved the Beet sliders too. Thank you for a successful dinner menu!“
“I like sitting outside, when the weather is warm and good. I went here several times, 2-3 occasions for beer or drinks daytime, 2-3 lunches, and one dinner. You can enjoy their drinks like draft beer or soda on the table outside between lunch and dinner time or on weekdays, as they are less busy. And they get you free chips and salsa. You can spend some great relaxing time, whle they dont offer happy hours. For lunch on weekends, their services can get slow, as I do not think they have enough number of employees/servers... you need to be patient sometimes.... bills for your lunch can be full $18-20 w/o tips, which is new normal these days. Their food quality is good enough to enjoy, not the highest quality, though. Overall, great place to visit for some decent Mexican food and some cold beer at the patio outside.“

Was going to just pick up a bottle of wine to go, but ended up sitting next a friendly patron at the bar, chatting and getting a glass of the Zinfandel blend from Lodi and then a 20-year tawny Port, both of which were really good. “This place has amazing food. Prior to this visit they did have construction going on their public streets, so some things are a bit out of sorts. Staff is ok. I think with all they do with limited staff like everywhere else , they dont have the time to visit like they would. We were greeted, asked if we needed anything else while we waited and that was about it. So if you don’t mind the catering to you service but love the taste of food , this is great. It was our first visit and left with a memorable experience. I guess you make your own experiences but the quality of the food is definitely there. Beer was good too from what I can tell. Prices are now comparable to burger places. I would rather here hands down.“
“Nice spot in Davis for a Beer especially if it's nice outside. What made me go to this place was the parklet outside and the beautiful seating when Davis is not scorching hot or flooding rain. The bartender was nice and I went during happy hour and got the Mangonada Margarita which tasted pretty good, but not too strong. There was a special beer flight which is 3 beers with 3 girls scout cookies! I'll be getting that next time.“

I was looking forward to the Nicoise salad with the tofu steak, which I had had last time, but alas, it was no longer on the menu. It was a busy night like usual but please give it a shot and don't let my four stars concern you. It just was an experience that I had.Vegetarian options: We went with a vegetarian and I ordered the same meal. In fact the four of us ordered the same meal. It just happened that I got the plate with undercooked noodles.Dietary restrictions: The menu is plentiful with options for any type of dietary needs or restrictions.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessibility in the front and the rear of the business. There is a parking lot behind the business that faces D Street. I would use C Street where it's located for better wheelchair accessibility.“
