Had family in town and they wanted to see the flatirons. It was too windy to hike se we decided to walk on Pearl street and have some lunch. The Rio seemed a good choice, very clean and friendly staff.We sat at the bar and Sienna (sp) was our bartender. Very friendly and gave great suggestions from the menu. Drinks and food were very good. We will for sure bring anyone that travels to see back to the Rio!
Every time I come to boulder I come here because the food is so good I once came here three times in four days I totally recommend this placeDietary restrictions: If you ask them about a dietary restriction they do a good job making sure that it isn't in your foodKid-friendliness: They have their own kids menu with a different picture to color every time

Went mid-afternoon and the place was quiet. Our server was initially efficient then seemed to get into a long conversation w a staff member over getting to the point where we had to get up to get her to take our order. Chile rellenos were excellent; however, a bit smaller than usual.Still an enjoyable mid-afternoon (?early dinner) place to go.
