Their food is what you wished your Mom could have made… I have never had a bad meal there in the 27 years I’ve dined here. Rick & Carolyn are wonderful, kind, hardworking people & without any pretense or guile. Just wish I lived in Cortez so I could eat here EVERY day! Carolyn’s baking is awesome & she does make the best carrot cake I’ve ever had. All their food is so good! I try to plan a way I can get to Cortez to enjoy their food each week if I can. If you get the opportunity & haven’t dined here & want a warm, homemade meal, this is your place. Put it on your must stop restaurants to enjoy if you live or visit Cortez, you won’t be disappointed.“

“Stopped here just driving through town, and was honestly one of the best little breweries I’ve been to. Great atmosphere, great hosts, and great beer. Also shout out to Kelly’s Kitchen who were serving tacos tonight, that were the perfect amount of spice and flavor. Loved everything about this place - wish we had more time to stick around. We’ll be back!“

“Burgers were a hit . Large patties.Does not come with a side . Small fries are kid size . But good, I'll order large next time . Father in law had the 3 taco plate and finished it before i could get 1/2 way thru my burger. Sio i geuss tggat it wss good too.“

“So glad I stopped here on my travels. Fresh chips. The table-side salsa had a bit of a kick to it. My server was ver attentive. Ordered the chicken, steak, shrimp fajitas. While all were tasty, if I ever stop here again, shrimp will be the winner for me.“
