“This has become a staple on all our Durango trips and is a MUST! You can't go wrong with anything you order here.Everything is seasonal, made fresh, from scratch, and is all organic and farm-to-table delicious!Like, how can ketchup be so freaking amazing when I handmade!?!?! OMG! And their fried fingerling potatoes, to die for!!! We got a basic burger and the patty melt, and we were so full at the end!!!I highly recommend trying their floats made from cane sugar and I believe they use a local soda company! So good!!!The view here is just heaven and you have to check out the little market next door! The entire experience is A+++++ and I highly recommend having a picnic here!“
“My husband, daughter and I were visiting from LA and were delighted to find this winery that allowed dogs! My husband and I both got flights. The fruity wines were sooo good and such unusual flavors! The raspberry pinot was our favorite but it was hard to choose, every one we said how delicious it was! We rarely buy bottles from wineries, we bought 6 and discussed ordering some more at the holiday times (they ship). The owner was very friendly!“
“Went there last weekend, and it was fun. Getting there too early was a little boring as the little train and the shooting gallery cost extra so not much to do. The food was good and plenty of it. It was nice that they kept coming back to give refills on drinks. The seating was pretty tight. The picnic tables were so close together it was hard to get in your spot. The show was definitely a solid 5 stars! Amazing voices and very entertaining. I was a little let down by the rest of the experience. There is a place in Arizona called Blazin M Ranch, kind of by Sedona. Once you get in all the activities are free (shooting gallery, axe throwing). Blazin M is more partial to my heart and feels more authentic. However, I am not trying to put this down because the price for the food and the entertainment was nothing to complain about. It just makes it hard when you have another place to compare it to. Families traveling to Durango will love this. And fun for couples too. Worth the money for what you get.“
“The people who work here are some of the kindest people iv come across in Durango! They are so helpful and always letting you try something. We bought one of teas with bee pollen and then went back and got my daughter her own caffeine free tea. I love loose leaf teas. Will definitely be back after they move locations“
“If Smurfs or Fraggles were real....they would all be hanging out at this place because it for real, is the end of the rainbow!!!! The Nugget Mountain Bar is one of the finest establishments in all the land. The ownership is probably the classiest human beings I know who will bend over backwards to make sure that your experience there is memorable. I LOVE THE APPAREL!!! They have super creative merch & and an eye for authentic apparel. But you don't just get to wet your whistle here, you have access to some of the most GOURMET SLIDERS on the planet. My family and I love getting grub here when we're chillin at the condo at Purg. The Nugget is truly the diamond in the Colorado rough. Go out of your way to stop at this enchanting space. It will change your life. These photos are from a small Wedding. We encourage the couple to take their family here after their Wedding on the mountain!Kid-friendliness: The owners have and love kids. This is a great stop for the fam to eat (adults can have a drink or 2) haha.“
“Only the owner of the place works there and I must say she is one of the nicest owners I have ever met. She was willingly to answer any inquiries, was really fun to talk to while she made my drink and I got the Banana Split shake which was jaw dropping good, would definitely get it again and would definitely come again! You even get a loyalty card which allows you to get 1 free item every 6 items! 10/10 all around.“
“We stopped here on our way out of town and the food was delicious. Don't shy away from anything with the green chili sauce in it or on it. Best grits ever and I'm not a grits fan! Try the green chili cheese grits! I wish I would have brought some home with me. If I were a local this would be my breakfast go to.“
“If you are anything like me you have wondered about this place for awhile. I ventured in with a couple friends for lunch last week and it was like stepping back (refreshingly) into my youth living in a teepee in the Santa Cruz Mountains and hanging out with the tribe in the alternative eateries in Felton and Boulder Creek. Very clean, very laid back, quiet with wonderful, plant-based delights. Where else but here can you get a 4 course meal for $15?Feels like a return to the light. Check it out.“
“The best Dirty Chai latte in Colorado. I love a good "Dirty Chai" (chai latte with a shot of espresso- all the deliciousness of chai with all the caffeine you need from the espresso). Most places use Oregon chai or some other mix which just doesn't cut it. The owner, Jon, of Crossroads took it to another level- as I took a sip, I thought, "This is no ordinary Chai! ". It was nuanced and not too sweet and was way more than I expected at this little shop tucked in the corner of a lobby. I asked what blend he used and when he said Oregon Chai I said, "But this is better!" Thats when he shared his mad scientist recipe where he adds an additional 5 layers of flavor. And now you know- this is no ordinary corner coffee shop. Jon has an attention to detail and thoughtfulness that brings the food and service to another level. Do yourself a flavor and stop in for some sunshine.“
“Starlight seems to be consistently our favorite local bar for various reasons. It’s cozy yet classy. Great patio during the warmer months. It can be slightly chaotic to order drinks just because it gets a little crowded and a bit loud but, that’s because we all love the place ? They have some great occasional live music. Some DJs are better than others and that’s the same anywhere in Durango. Drag Trivia on Thursdays is fun and Wednesdays we’ve enjoyed taking friends to karaoke there. Tuesdays are open mic which often results with some good music by great local talent. Drinks are generous and decently priced, friendly staff ???“
“This is a fun little brewery and great place to grab lunch with the family. Was pleasantly surprised to see the number of families with kids who were enjoying a weekend lunch in the restaurant. They have a wide variety of beers. I'm not a a fan of extremely hoppy beers so I asked our server what they had available. The medium ale she recommended was outstanding. For lunch. I had the jerk chicken sandwich with house made chips, also an excellent choice!“
“Food: pizza! With vegan cheese, tomato sauce and mushrooms. Delicious! Hot and made very quickly. Beverage: taster sampler of Dunkelweisen, Oatmeal Stout, Raspberry Blonde Ale, Pinstripe Red and Ska Ale! Not so easy to find but worth the effort! We walked! Ambiance was beer bar and good. Recommended!“
“First time at Grass Burger, and the food was fantastic!I'm not too picky about food, I'll eat anything that doesn't eat me first, and for that reason, I won't say i like something if it's not good. The food at Grass Burger was fantastic and the people were extremely friendly. Thank you for a great meal and a great dining experience.“
“We oldsters walked up here after riding the Durango Silverton Railroad since it was recommended by one of the young hip crossing guard. It was a little cheaper than the nearby pizza place. It seems to be patronized by college aged folks and is dog friendly. We sat on the patio under the roof. It did take about 40 minutes to get our pizza. Maybe under staffed? Pizza was good and fresh when it arrived. But be sure to be able to eat it all as they didn't have any carryout boxes for the leftovers. They also expect you to bus your table after you are done so it is basically self serve. It was a nice change of pace.“
“Plenty of options at this location! Though I have visited here before, this time we got Buffalo wings, BBQ wings and a pizza. The wings were super meaty and full of flavor! It came it 8 pieces per bowl and considering the amount of chicken on the bone made it more than enough for a meal. Our pizza (don't remember the name) had bacon, blue cheese and apple slices on it. I'm not much a fan of blue cheese but I tried it anyway and I was shocked how good it was. There is plenty of seating around the area with heat lamps but we sat behind ernies upstairs in the in-closed patio which has a nice ambiance with lights. It's a busy place but worth the crowd! We use go for sliders from one of the other food trucks which is a favorite of ours but I'm happy to have branched out and try something else. Can wait to go back and try more!Kid-friendliness: The whole area is family friendly and has gates around the majority of the space which, as a mom, made me safe to let my kids run around a bit.“
“One of the best Italian restaurants in Durango! We have been here many times and will always come back! They don’t take reservations most of the time and it’s a wait most of the time. They have indoor and outdoor seating in the warmer moths. Once you get a table you go up to the counter and order. It depends how fast the food and drinks come out on how busy it is. The food is great, they don’t have too big of a menu but have classic pasta dishes, great appetizers and a variety of desserts in a case up by the counter. I would definitely recommend this place!Parking: They have a sorta parking lot behind the building, and street parking around which is free after 6:30Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly with kids menu“
“Food was great and so was my experiance sitting at the bar.. Our server (shaina) was her name went above and beyond to keep us hydrated even though she was very busy but still made eye contact while keeping great conversation which made the experiance awesome .. Everyone seemed pleased as the food was phenomenal! I highly recommend this place to pizza lovers aeound !“
“I just love finding hidden little gems and Los Amigos definitely was! Shopping the mall, tucked back in the corner, we spotted the sign for happy hour margaritas and stopped in for some drinks and an appetizer. We had the house margaritas - which were BIG - and the queso Oaxaca with chorizo. The queso was simply just cheese and chorizo, warm and gooey. The margaritas were good and generous but the absolute best was the michelada - it's rare to find and usually just beer, tomato juice and lime but this one had a little something extra, it was the best I've had and of course, BIG! I'm sorry we didn't get to try more food but I'll definitely be back.“
“My original review was mid, but we've been coming here periodically for years and the quality of food, beer, and customer service has gradually improved to the point where this is one of our favorite places. The Class VI IPA is excellent, and the pasties (pass-tees) are delicious, like a calzone or fancy hot pocket.“
“Loved this place! The salmon was delicious—loved the sweet glaze and the creamy risotto paired nicely with the well cooked asparagus. The chimichurri steak was a win as well with my friends. Pictured is the Paloma which was refreshing and very very boozy. Highly recommend asking for daily cocktails and specials as well. Our servers Brandon and Parker did an amazing job and store environment was clean and atmospheric. Would come here again when visiting Durango!“
