I used to enjoy coming out of traffic and stepping inside for a few minutes of relaxation before going into the office. Now that they have removed all seating, I will no longer be going to a Starbucks before work. There are plenty of other coffee shops that encourage my business. Starbucks doesn't seem to want my business anymore.
It was one of my favorite Starbucks in my area, but after they re-opened with renovation, my experience has changed not in a good way. First time after they re-opened I stopped by to get my oatmilk latte and I could feel that it was not all they way filled up, and we all know that they are not cheap, to leave my venti cup 3/4 full. It was once said that Starbucks was supposed to be the “3rd place.” The first being home, the second, work and the third, Starbucks. Well, when you redesign and offer no tables or places to sit (besides a hard bench), why would it become the third place. Horribly uninviting.
