“Wonderful small brunch restaurant with plenty of new and old flavors. Breakfast and coffee was delicious, especially the hibiscus latte.Parking: You may need to park a block away to access this restaurant as it has almost no street or otherwise parking near the restaurant.“
“What a fun adventure! I had never done something like this before. We shared a comb boil, which did not disappoint! We got the Cajun seasoning with no spice, which was wonderful. A good amount of sea food and a side variety. The flavors melded well together. Definitely will be back to try other seasonings and increase the spice level.“
“Wait staff are ALWAYS as attentive as they can be, even with a full house they make you feel like family. The drinks SLAP and even the mimosas are strong! My partner and I come here on the regular- Even though we moved about 30 minutes away, it's worth the drive ?“
“Another must visit if you find yourself in The Mile High City. This cajun restaurant is operated out of a beautiful and cozy Victorian house which added to the wholesome atmosphere. The food was sublime; the beignets, cheesy grits, and omelets did not disappoint. The only downside was the food coma afterwards.“
“Jax offered a decent meal experience albeit pricey. Staff was all very welcoming and friendly. While the bar area had ample staffing there seemed to be only two servers and one assistant for the entire restaurant which made interaction with the server almost non existent. That stated the overwhelmed server we had was friendly the few times we saw her and was doing the best she could. The food was decent but they love their spices and the MauiMaui was served with a paste that had a nip to it that was a bit much for my taste. The bread, served in a butter oil type sauce, was very good but again the sauce was strongly spiced. The chocolate oil cake and Ceaser salad were average. On the flip side the crab cake was excellent with chunks of crab. My wife enjoyed her salmon dish. The atmosphere was a bit loud and the air was set colder than it needed to be. Overall while I was glad to have tried Jax I'm not sure I'd go back as it did not seem up to the very high prices they have. For the prices I had hoped for a higher level experience. A better experience can be found elsewhere at more reasonable prices.“
“Went with my family for the crawfish boil and it was top tier. We ate our fill and still had a bit to take home. I also fell head over heels for the absolutely divine bread pudding. My. Word. Just delicious!! I may need to go back simply for desert and coffee sometime. I enjoyed 2 Blackberry & Lemonade Smokey Moonshine cocktails that were dangerously tasty. My mom got the smothered catfish which I tasted and it was suuuuper falvorful. My brother ordered the beignets which I also sampled (I had a grand time lol) and they were so pillowy. Overall, I was thrilled with my experience and my family agrees that we will be back.“
“Stopped by for a couple quick beers so my best friend could wish his favorite server, Jill, well and a continued speedy recovery from her rock climbing fall! The poor girl fractured her lower back a couple months ago, but she's already back to work!!?! Ahh, to be Young again, lol! Take care Jill!from Mark & “
“Best five start seafood I've had in Colorado! It was fresh crab and tasty. We are three types of crab. It was served quickly. I'm not a fan of corn and potatoes so we didn't eat that. We ate all the crab though. Server was very good and has seen the movie Waiting! So tip them and don't send food back...hahaha it was a great place for date night and slowing down on a Friday nightI did notice that all the fake fish hanging from the ceiling were facing the same direction...That's creepy ..lolOh and for all you Aquaman fans there is a life size statue for you to rub on...I mean take a photo with...lol I did not do that I had my own Aquaman to rub on...chow down guys!!!!Kid-friendliness: Kids better like sea food and be able to sit while you grub on crab that takes a minute...“
“Where do I even begin. This place absolutely slaps. Sometimes I forget about it because it's kinda off the beaten path from my normal food jaunts. I ordered delivery tonight on grub hub and got two sides and bourbon chicken, plus delivery and tip for like 23$. So. Much. Food. And tasted like it was fresh off the grill. I've ordered pick up before too- and I know they do have a nice little ambiance for dine in with very friendly service. Highly recommend, especially with inflation, and a bag of "family size" chips costing $8.99- do ya self a favor. Bourbon grill is fire!“
“Our family tried the new all-you-can-eat menu option last night and it was outstanding. We had several rounds of tasty sushi rolls, sashimi, snow crab, and crawfish with sides of clam chowder and miso soup. Everything was nicely prepared & presented, and the quality was surprisingly great for AYCE.Service was attentive and the restaurant's decor is quite stunning. It's a great place for families and kids will enjoy all the colorful, whimsical sea-themed decor. There's even a large large banquet room in the back you can reserve for private parties. The best part was the price of only $33 per person -- it's a *really* great deal! Hurry while it lasts! So glad we live right around the corner... we'll definitely come back regularly to support a local neighborhood gem.“
“Unreal, underrated food truck. We had the fried green tomatoes and the catfish platter. The breading was super flavorful, the hush puppies were soft and had great texture, and the catfish tasted like it was caught today! Very juicy and not overcooked. The fries could be a tad crispier. My favorite part was the sauces! They don’t skimp on sauce amount or selection- they automatically include them on your plate. Wish other food trucks would take note!I can’t wait to have their food again. Kind staff who really vouched for their food/craft. 10 out of 10.“
“Food is really good, My salmon was delicious and my margarita “ waooo”, really good. But the best part was my server, I was so pleased with the service I received from José, this guy is amazing, outstanding service, very professional, friendly, and handsome boy.“
“Our recent birthday dinner experience at Jax Seafood Restaurant was absolutely incredible. From the warm greeting by the friendly staff to the fantastic happy hour deals and impeccable seafood selection, every aspect of our evening exceeded expectations. The highlight was undoubtedly the chef's special dessert—a true masterpiece that showcased the team's skill and passion. Overall, Jax Seafood Restaurant provided stellar service and dining, making it highly recommended for a memorable experience. We can't wait to return! Thank You Chef!!“
“We were visiting Denver and did a quick Google search for restaurants near the art museum. This location came up (Nola Janes), and it sounded like a great place to eat.We really enjoyed it. Our waitress was really cool and awesome at helping us make the best food selections as it was our first time eating there. The hush puppies were fantastic. Our meals were yummy as well. My brother had jambalaya, and I had the gator sausage po'boy. We were not disappointed! I actually started scooping my brothers jambalaya onto my po'boy it was so good! For dessert, we shared the bread pudding... I said it was the best bread pudding I've ever had, and my brother said it was his second favorite. If we visit Denver again, this place will be on our radar... I suggest trying it if you haven't been!“
“Ana is awesome! Very kind, attentive and just all around one of the best servers I’ve ever had.She remembered what my boyfriend and I liked to order months in between visits!Definitely will continue coming here and highly recommend this place !“
“Ever since Pier 8 denied my service 1hr 1/2 before close, this seafood place has been my go to! The food tastes incredible (which says a lot since we are land locked), the service is always amazing and I'm always greeted and welcomed in with a smile! Screw Pier 8! The Yabby Hut is the only good place to go if your really craving a delicious seafood boil❤️“
“I like their potatoes and I have been ordering 3 sides every week but every week their portion sizes have become smaller and smaller ? 3 sides have now become the amount of 2 sides (actually just measured it out).I've contacted Lucile's to understand if they have changed how they portion out food. I'll edit my post once I get a response.“
“Service was excellent from start to finishGreeted when we entered. Requested to be sat on upper level due to having a large party -16 guests. Paris was our server. Friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and patient. When we first arrived there were it that many customers. By the time we left the restaurant was nearly full. I enjoyed the music which was courtesy of the server playlist. 90’s - 2000’s R&B. Food tasted excellent. Not too salty or buttery. Serving amount was fulfilling. Almost evening ordered their own combo. Thank you“
“Delicious oysters! You can order from the Pho restaurant as well, so I often get a seafood dinner with Vietnamese Iced Coffee for dessert, or I'll get oysters as an appetizer before having Pho for dinner.Parking: Always plenty of open, free parking.“
“First time eating the Crab House!! It won't be the last time!! I live close by and have wanted to stop here, but I never did. I wasn't feeling well today, so I decided to get an order delivered, and I was totally surprised and happy with my order. I ordered the shrimp basket. calamari and hush puppies and had more food than expected. The shrimp were so big and plenty that I could have shared it with someone. The calamari, too. I wasn't crazy about the pups, but they were ok. I'm definitely going back or ordering. The last few Dashers have been great.“
