“After eating at soooo many high-priced restaurants around Estes Park, and pretty much loving every place we visited, but trying to eat at as many as possible before returning home, we hit this place the NIGHT before we left. Mostly because it was the only place still open and very close to where we were staying at Valhalla Resort. WHAT A HUGE MISTAKE!!! WE SHOULD HAVE BEEN EATING HERE ALL ALONG!!! The Elk Burgers melted in our mouths, the onion rings and mushrooms were spot on and plentiful, and the late-night service was polite and speedy!! Don't waste too much money eating at all the other places. Our only regret was not trying these guys first, as I doubt I would have eaten ANYWHERE else after dining here!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!“

Drinks from Zac at the bar were not watered down like other establishments we visited here in Estes. They have a new manager who took the time to introduce herself and let us know she was there if we needed anything. Our server was Jessica, and She was very attentive. My husband ordered the elk burger; he wasn’t a big fan of it. Ate outdoors. Service was great. The prices are reasonable for gourmet burgers. The prices posted on these reviews are a dollar higher than what they actually are. Came back again for dinner.“

“If you enjoy good Mexican food, La Cocina De Mama is definitely a place I would recommend. With great food and a nice selection of drinks, it is a spot that I would happily return to again if visiting the area. There is plenty of room for either large or small groups. The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxed. Service was great.“

Being a bit of off season, we went and it was actually really busy, and they were a bit short staffed. So if youre a stickler for time / timing of things, please be patient. The food was absolutely amazing. I got a burger, and my mom got the chicken sandwhich / burger. Fries were amazing, chili was amazing. And the bar tender / server was fantastic as well, she was just very busy. But the food was so good we came back multiple times and ordered the same food. Looking forward to trying some other options next time we are here. 5 stars food wise, 4.5 stars service time wise...“

“Wild Rose has great food, but that’s not unusual in Estes. The staff are friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and efficient. When visiting Estes we dine there at least twice per week.“

“My brother and I stopped in last weekend to see if they allowed dogs on the patio (they do), but the patio had just closed for the season for service. Laura, the hostess, suggested that we could get takeout and eat outside if we wanted, and as it was a gorgeous, not-too-cold day, we took her up on it. She brought out our food and drinks just as we were getting up to pick them up ourselves, and she checked back on us a couple of times. WAYYYYYY beyond the call of her duty, and she was as nice as can be. AND she brought treats for the doggo! “Not sure why this place has 3 stars but my experience was more than I expected it to be. Being from SoCal, I refused to try any Mexican cuisine claiming to be "authentic" in CO. However, I gave this place a try on a whim. Upon arrival, my friend and I were greeted and seated promptly. Our waiter, Alberto, was quick to service us and was very attentive the entire time we were there. The food was delicious and I recommend the queso fundido con chorizo! Super flavorful with a bit of spice but it's just right. For dessert we ended up getting the fried ice cream and it was amazing! I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a homey Hispanic feel as the decor reminded me of my grandparents house. This was authentic in my eyes!
