“4/2024. Husband's birthday lunch with steak and baked potato and huge chocolate dessertNeighboring table had well behaved children. Tip suggestion was 22 percent on taxed amount, as much as one of the entrees. November 2023 Birthday lunch with a gift card plus a generous sundae for dessert. Nice specials and the sweet potato was delicious. Small steaks and wonderful service ?. Husband rates it as his favorite. Update : Holiday lunch with husband. Late so not busy. Wait for the hostess/ host wasn't bad with air conditioning. Wait staff is well trained. I had locked the credit card and the waiter was sweet about needing a different one. Restroom clean and sweet smelling. Menu prices have risen as well but still a good experience.Parking: Plenty“

“For what it is, this place is great. Super fast BBQ sandwiches, all of the different sauces on the table with descriptions. Driven by 100’s of times, went in for lunch for the first time. I was happy with it and will go again. I got their flagship sandwich “The Brother”. Bread actually held up the entire time which impressed me.“

“Unfortunately Smōk missed the mark for me. I ordered the Brisket Sandwich because it was highly rated. First bite I couldn’t taste any flavor, so I put some of their BBQ sauce on it. It didn’t help much either. I’ve had award winning BBQ sauces and briskets and the reviews for Smōk were equivalent to those award winning BBQ sauces and briskets so I held it to such high standards. I judge a place by its coleslaw if they have it and it’s deviled eggs since that’s a signature duo to any BBQ place. The coleslaw in the Fried Chicken Sandwich my partner had was not flavorful at all, it didn’t have the “zing” it needed. I would have gotten more flavor from a lettuce salad fed to a rabbit farm then I did with the coleslaw. The deviled eggs were so small. It looked like they used a small sized egg instead of large ones. Even the portion of the filling was underwhelming. Deviled eggs are supposed to be heaping with filling. The only compliment I have for the deviled eggs was the jalapeño on top. I’m very fortunate to have been helped by a manager that was equally disappointed about my complaint. He fortunately was able to give me a refund for my portion of the meal.“

“. Went here for lunch with my daughter and was pleasantly surprised by the friendly service and tasty food. It's in a little (2 businesses) shopping center and doesn't look like much on the outside, but it's worth the stop! There is minimal seating inside and they have a couple of picnic tables outside you can use. They also offer catering services.“

“I highly recommend Bama Breeze BBQ and Catering! They just catered our son's celebration of life and everything was perfect! All we had to do is let them know what we were thinking and they did the rest. They provided a wonderful variety of food and plenty to go around for very reasonable pricing! They even prepared extra at the last minute! Best of all, the owners and employees are kind, wonderful, hard working people. Thank you Bama Breeze!“

“A CARNIVORE'S PARADISE! I re-visited Dae Gee earlier this week with a classmate, and honestly, nothing changed (in a good way!). If you're a carnivore seeking a true feast for your taste buds that won't break the bank either, look no further than this unlimited Korean BBQ gem in Dservice.ae Gee! Conveniently located in Old Town on Mountain and Olive, my most recent (and second ever) dining experience here was nothing short of exceptional, earning this spot another well-deserved five stars.Let's start with the service. Victor, our server, deserves a special shout-out for his attentiveness and impeccable service. He checked up on us often, making sure we always had food on our table, and he did a great job ensuring our grilling experience went without a hitch. His friendly demeanor and prompt attention to our needs added an extra layer of enjoyment to our meal. Now, let's talk alcohol. The peach soju was an unexpected delight. Refreshing and sweet, it proved to be the ideal companion, seamlessly complementing the savory flavors of the barbecue. A definite must-try for anyone eager to explore the world of soju with a delightful peachy twist.I would be remiss not to mention the value of this place. One of the standout features of Dae Gee is the value for money. At $30 for lunch (which excludes the galbi) and $38 for dinner (which includes the galbi), you get an all-you-can-eat extravaganza that puts other pricey steakhouse and dining options to shame. I couldn't help but compare it to spending the same amount elsewhere (Applebee's for example) for a measly 12 oz ribeye with only two side options. Here, you're treated to an endless array of high-quality meats and banchan options that make every dollar spent entirely worth it. Banchan options here include the jang-jorim, oi muchim, kimchi, kimchi jun, fermented onions with jalapeños, pickled radish, potato salad, fish cakes, and chicken mandoo. My taste buds were in heaven with each bite. The Dak Bulgogi (chicken) and Sam Gyeob Sal (pork belly) stole the show for me, showcasing the perfect balance of marinade and tenderness. The Sogogi Bulgogi was no slouch either, offering a delectable alternative that added variety to our grilling experience. In summary, this unlimited Korean BBQ joint has mastered the art of providing not just a meal but an experience. With Victor's outstanding service, delightful peach soju, and a menu that won't break the bank, it's safe to say I'll be coming back for more carnivorous delights. A hearty five stars for an evening well spent!“

“Went for our son's 40th birthday. Unfortunately, it was prom night as well so very crowded and noisy. Wife, son, and I had sirloin steak, which each was cooked as ordered. All of us enjoyed them immensely. The only negative was the fact that we had to wait for over 95 minutes before being seated. Very cold and blustery outside, too.“

“Excellent BBQ in a sports focused neighborhood bar setting. Friendly staff. Fellow patrons seem to all know one another and warm up if you visit more regularly. Definitely has a strong local following. Have tried everything on the menu at least once. Their Alabama platter can easily serve 4 and costs less than what one would pay for the groceries to make it. Good value, great tasting food.“

“The food was amazing! I had the beef brisket sandwich, coleslaw and a pickled egg. I usually save the main course for last but one bite of that sandwich and it was over. I demolished the sandwich, juicy tender and just a touch of spice. The coleslaw was different than any coleslaw I have ever had and was very good. Then finally the pickled egg, delicious, I cut the egg in half and that was the end of my meal and I left full and happy. The staff was nice and the food didn't take long. Definitely going back to Moe's.“
