“I have only been living in Colorado for 5 months, but this was the best experience I have had going out. The staff was amazing, engaging, and beyond friendly. The food was top-notch, and the atmosphere was fun. I will definitely be going back...again and again. ❤️“
“The small plates were each delicious in their own right. The artichokes were especially good. It was very easy to eat too much. The service was top notch, friendly, always available but never intrusive. I highly recommend SuperMegaBien.Vegetarian options: Almost half of the small plates were vegetarian. I wish the large plates had offered a vegetarian option, however.“
“I was looking for some good vegetarian options while we were adventuring in Golden. I came upon El Callejon and decided to check it out on a Friday afternoon. This place is a literal hole in the wall with a few tables. Don't be fooled, though! This small restaurant packs major flavor into its food. There are ample vegetarian options too. I opted for the veggie burrito. It comes filled with beans, peppers, onions, cheese, rice and probably a few other things I've missed. The sauce on it is delightful. My wife got a chicken quesadilla which came with 3 different sauces and she absolutely devoured it. The food came out fast and the prices were great for the portion sizes. Would definitely dine here again.“
“Food was next level, apps were good, tacos were all delicious and had a great balance of flavor, drinks were unique and yummy, and the churros were the best I've ever had, outside seating was a little dark and the seating uncomfortable. Kitchen was busy so it took a bit for us to get our food. Most expensive taco to quantity I've had, but the quality is top notch.“
“The absolute best coffee shop in Denver! I ordered the Horchata Latte which was served hot in a traditional red clay mug. My beverage was smooth had a delicate body, a gentle sweetness and fruitiness, and an acidic snap to finish off the experience. There was ample, clean space to sit with friends in the courtyard right outside with chairs and tables. The shop was colorfully complimented with locally made goods, homemade Mexican pan dulce, and offered so much more than coffee. They even make atole which takes me back to my childhood! I can't wait to try everything on their menu. This is my new favorite place in Denver and will quickly become yours too!“
“We love going to this place, the food is incredible ?& everyone who works there is nice & helpful. ?We placed a large order the other night & it turned out great. We will go to them for catering again for sure! The 36 tacos we ordered were eaten to fast, I failed to get a pic of those!Kid-friendliness: They have coloring books, crayons, diaper changing station, high chairs & kid friendly staff“
“The food was soo good! Especially their new empanada, the Napoli. The meat was deliciously seasoned. 3 of the empanadas will fill you up. And the dessert empanadas are both amazing! They let us try all of the sauces, since it was our first time, and I love the sweet chili sauce! Soo good!“
“Very, very good!! Fresh, cook to order, Venezuelan style empanada. Light flaky crust, seasoned just right, and stuffed. We order a 1/2 to-go. Small, eat-in restaurant. Would different definitely go back. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE....explained all items in detail. Didn't feel rushed. Very good!“
“Empanadas are a great treat, how can you go wrong with a delicious flaky pastry filled with flavorful ingredients? I had seen Lazo's many times in the Cherry Hills shopping center and my timing was always off, but today it was dinner time and I was hungry. Their selection of fillings is robust and you will be able to find something that is a good match for you. The first one I tried was the Chicken Caprese based on the staff's recommendation. They were right on with this choice and the filling was delicious with chicken, cheese, tomatoes, and some herbs. The empanadas are cooked to order, so it comes out and it tantalizing hot. You want to bite into it so badly, but you have to ease yourself into it so you do not burn your mouth. My second choice was the spinach and cheese empanada which was good, but not quite as delicious as the chicken caprese. Lazo's is a great place to come and enjoy a meal. You can choose exactly how much food you want and order exactly what you want. The staff was kind, cheerful helpful, providing information about the different fillings. I look forward to coming back and trying the other options available.“
“Excellent Customer Service! Support Our Neighborhood Businesses is Particularly Important To My And Our Community and Combined Nationwide Economy. I hope everyone will support Neighbors and their Businesses. Beside The Food Is Much Better. I will return here again. You Will Too! Excellent Restaurant!“
“This restaurant is no different than others within the brand in regard to level of service you receive. They clearly have a thorough selection process in hiring. I have never had a negative exp. here. Top notch. The food is incredible as well. I love the atmosphere and going for a quick bite after work or a long date night with my girl. 10 out of 10“
“This is the best food I’ve had in a bit! I liked the vibe inside since the tables are pretty spaced out. The wait staff works as a team and had great service! The food is Latino based and some of the flavors were totally unique that I have never experienced. The steak we had was cooked perfectly with a delicious chimichurri on top. The shrimp and scallop dish was so fresh and perfectly cooked. The rice was cooked with coconut milk which added so much deliciousness to the dish. I highly recommend this for a nice date night!“
“This is now my favorite taco in Denver. I go here at least once a week for lunch. The barbacoa, al pastor, bistec.....anything you choose will be amazing. It's also super quick and the prices are amazing. I can't think of another place where you can get a fully stuffed street taco for $3.....I usually only need two for lunch.“
“Don't get me wrong: the empanadas are great. Maybe I'm too old school, but paying $5 for an empanada (delicious as they are!) was a little much. The food is excellent, but you have to pay $20+ to have a "meal." If money is no issue, this is a great place. You're just not going to get good value.“
“This place is delicious! Everything was prepared fresh! They have lots of seating inside and out. There is paid parking in the front but there is a free parking lot behind the restaurant. Highly recommend the double-decker tacos! It's kind of on the pricey side for Mexican food, but it was worth it, in my opinion.Parking: Recommend parking in the back of the restaurant because it's free. They do have paid parking in the front if you can find a spot.“
