“I went for brunch with a group of friends, and it gave me such a homey feeling. Their café de olla was delicious. And I ordered the Chilaquiles Locos, which were amazing. And the Bolillo that came with my Chilaquiles was so yummy. I love the authenticity of this place and will definitely be coming back to try the margaritas.“

“If you're searching for Americanized Mexican (Tex-Mex) food, this is not your place. However, if you're searching for REAL authentic New Mexican style food - THIS IS YOUR PLACE!The fresh Mean Arlene Margaritas (no pre-made mixer junk) are to die for!The food? Ah-Mazing! The Chimichangas, Taquitos, Tamales, Burritos, and my favorite, the steak street tacos are freshly made with love. Oh, let's not forget the delicious Queso Blanco and Chips and the breakfast items! Arlene has fun with adding special items to the menu such as Pozole, Chicken Wings, and (one of our favorites) Irish Nachos! On top of her love for making fresh, homemade food... Arlene and Bobby love their community by hosting countless give-back nights for our local schools, Police, scholarship programs, Rotary club, and our very own Tri-Lakes Cares! Additionally, if they catch wind of a family in need - they reach out and help.Ah-mazing food, loving hearts, and fellowship. Not much more you can ask for from a small business owner who started their business out of their home years ago!“

“Tamales, fish tacos and the fish plate were all great! All were hearty portions and cost seemed be reasonable. $8 for 2 fish tacos is a great deal since each covered 2 tortillas and were smothered in the fixings with nice slices of avocado to boot.Fish is heavy on the breading, but a great taste.Tamales were hot and large. Much better size than the ones you get at the farmers market on Saturdays in Monument. We don’t do a lot of food trucks, but they have a nice setup. You order, and they provide a pager so you can wait in your car. Food was all piping hot when we got home which was about 3 miles away where they were parked at the Santa Fe trailhead in Monument.Warning - The green salsa is quite hot. Maybe ask for an alternate needed.Definitely will visit again, if only to try the other salsas. ?“

“I love this place! Everything is always really flavorful, but I love adding the hot sauces. My favorite server Allie always makes sure everything is perfect! Wish they would bring in a vegan taco with tofu or something, but they always make do with what they have on hand.Kid-friendliness: High chairs, quesadillas, beans and rice, flexible and fast.“

“Overall a good experience. The food was tasty, especially the Mexican Salad. It was too windy for outside dining, but inside in the more open 'garage' patio was very comfortable. The interior was decorated nicely and you should take the time to browse if you have time. Our waiter was very good, but the overall service was not on point during our lunchtime meal. Our enchilada order was did not include the requested accompanying items, and our entire table order was "misplaced in the kitchen" causing an overall delay. Luckily their chips and salsa are tasty enough to hold us till our meals were finally complete. I still suggest stopping in as the food was great and service issues do happen, if your patient you will be pleased.“

“A hole in the wall place!! We absolutely loved everything about this place! The tamarind wings were SO GOOD. I loved the margarita flight. They offer Maggie Margaritas for kids here, which are non alcoholic. I had my first molcajete here and it arrived to the table still boiling!! Very family friendly restaurant. My kids loved all their food too. We had such a nice server. Did not catch his name but he was very friendly. The menu is also very beautiful as well. The food portions are larger. Spent about $100 (without tip) for a family of 5, kids drinks, kids meals, adult beverages, wings, and one molcajete! Not all of the menu is pictured here. There is definitely something for everyone here!“

“This is a pretty good casual Mexican restaurant. Personally I think La Loma & Guadalajara serve better tasting food, but this place is cheaper so it depends on what you're after. The meats were pretty average, but the sauces were fire. The ground beef taco didn't have much taste to it and the carnitas quesadilla was ok. There was something slightly offputting about the taste of the quesadilla I couldn't quite put my finger on, but when I ate it with guacamole it got canceled out. The chips and salsa were also middle-of-the-road. Not terrible, but I wasn't too impressed either. The red sauce is really good. It has a tomato base and is almost like a Mexican version of marinara. The green chili sauce was solid as well. Both come in at slightly spicy. The guacamole and queso were both really tasty as well, but as with most queso it degrades pretty quickly so you have to try it fresh.“

“These are, no joke, the best tacos I have ever had! These people are so sweet and fast. I have had their stacked enchiladas which reminded me of my grandpa’s enchiladas. The first time I ever tried this food, I literally cried because it brought me right back to childhood. Everything is always fresh and made to order, they also serve breakfast. They have a location in Castle Rock and one in Aurora. Get there as fast as you possibly can to support this small business!“
