“The ambiance was great here, very dark dimly lit cozy space that felt like a dinner party. They only serve small tapas now, we tried a lot of them. The Arroz was the best. The carne was good, same with the broccolini, and the patatas. The only dish I was disappointed in was the seared tuna. It was super tough, could barely cut or chew it. The flan was delicious! Service was excellent”

“Our first time to Marigold, to celebrate a birthday. What some people have called a cozy atmosphere, we found to be cramped. We were seated in the front where the tables are practically on top of each other -- not much chance for any kind of private conversation. We also found our server to be far from friendly, hardly even welcoming. He can recite anything you want to know (or not) about the food and wine, and he responded quickly and courteously to our questions and requests. Nevertheless, we found his interactions with us to be quite uninterested, which frankly made the dining experience much less pleasurable. Not so much as a "thank you for coming in."

That said, the food was the best we've had in a very long time. But that's not everything, at least not for us.”

“Shout out to the staff at Moxie Mercantile! My wife and I parked on the street next to their building today and went to walk around Main Street shops in Lyons, Co. I must have left the accessory on in my truck when I gapped the windows. When I came back to start the truck to let it cool off, it was completely dead. I went in to ask if there was a towing service in town that could give me a jump. The folks behind the counter said they weren’t sure. The next thing I know, one of the guys behind the counter brings me a jump start battery pack. I was blown away! I went out to jump the truck and was waiting for my battery to charge up. Just then, one of the other workers who was getting off at the end of her shift stopped to ask if I wanted her to jump it with her car. She pulled right up and we jumped the truck. We were on our way in no time, that is, after I got my quad iced espresso that had been frustratingly delayed by my battery. The coffee was good, but the service was sensational! Great people working at Moxie Mercantile! We will definitely stop in on our next visit from Iowa. Thank you so much!”

“Absolutely LOVE this place! The patio is so much fun as there is plenty of room to dance like a fool to good ol’ Bluegrass and the pizza is top notch. Wish they’d bring back those amazing chicken tenders! Especially worth mentioning: the beer selection is outstanding. Though they feature beers from a variety of breweries, their own beers can hold their own with anything on tap. Definitely try a Main Stage beer! If you want to hang out on a great patio, see live music and eat/drink in Lyons, Main Stage is a fantastic choice! If you live in/around Lyons, you’ll see plenty of familiar faces, too.”

“Stopped in after passing by so many times on our way up to Estes. Our waitress was wonderful and recommended a few dishes and man she did not disappoint! the food was excellent and the service was a 10/10. We will definitely be back. Thanks guys!”

“I was in Longmont a few weeks ago and stopped into Carl's Jr for some onion rings and a milk shake. This store is always clean and the staff friendly. The shining star that I would like to recognize is Jose. He is a young man with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. He goes out of his way to assist in any way that he can, and this restaurant is very lucky to have a person like Jose working for them. At a time of come and go employees, Jose is a keeper, and he deserves to be recognized for his positive attitude and hard work. He is a leader, and I wish him well in growing his career goals wherever they take him.”

“The only reason I didn't give this place a higher rating is because the Miso soup was a little too salty for me and the tea was a little too weak. The host/owner got me another tea bag so all is well. Other than that, I got the spicy tuna rolls and three different fish nigiri. The owner Jason is very welcoming; he likes to chat at the bar with his customers, but there's also lots of
elegant table seating. They play really lovely jazz music too. This is the first time I've heard Dorothy Ashby playing jazz harp as part of a jazz playlist in a restaurant! Overall a great place for lunch or dinner if you want to feel welcome and have good food.”

“Farow is everything you want in a local restaurant: thoughtful ingredients, cozy vibes, delicious food, and amazing bartenders. Get any lamb dish whenever it’s on the menu. The burger is great, too. But the pro move is to sit at the bar. If Noah’s working, ask him for a dealer’s choice and let him surprise you with something wild and delightful (the list of drink specials is always great, too). It’s now my go-to spot for a great drink or happy hour at the end of the week.

“We’ve done takeout here twice, and both times it was awesome. The people who run it are so kind and helpful. The food is amazing. The atmosphere is so calming. It hasn’t been very busy the times I’ve gone, but I’m sure it picks up at times. They’re quick and both times have made sure I had everything I needed before I left.”

“Incredible lamb vindaloo, I ordered a 2 but swiftly changed to a 4 before the waitress walked away; it was a 8/10 for spice, it nearly put me on my knees. Just tears, but partially happy tears. The person who seated us wasn't very friendly, and didn't interact with me, but he did share one smile.”

“Absolutely fantastic. I had ordered the miso Ramen spicy, but by the time the photos were taken, mine was gone. The dishes pictured are chicken fried rice and Kobe beef udon. We started off with dumplings, soup dumplings might be the coolest thing I’ve ever eaten. Super affordable and 2nd day in a row good!”

“We went Friday evening and it was a long wait which we expected. I have to say that they work very well together as a team. As soon as a table left they got it ready right away for the next customers. The managers pitched in with their team. And the food was absolutely delicious. Can’t wait to go back.”

Friendly smiles and great service greeted me, and the beers I had were excellent, as well.
