“A must visit. Fantastic old-school steakhouse, great service l, strong drinks, good vibe and excellent steaks. My family went skiing and stayed at Beavercreek. Thank goodness we found this place, what a treat. It is close to Beavercreek but worlds away from the overpriced food at a ski resort. The experience cooking their own steak will probably be the most memorable from our entire trip.“

“Been to this nice restaurant many times and it’s always first class. Tonight my wife’s chicken was excellent. The wine was great. However, the Manhattan steak was not so good. The one that was brought out was extremely tough and even hard to cut into. Our lovely server offered to bring out a new one but I said I would fight through it. To her credit, she insisted on bringing out a new one and I asked for it to be Medallion cut. The replacement came out and should have been medium rare, but when I laid out the cuts it was simply very rare to raw with lots of fat as well. I simply refused to eat it and told her to just take it off the bill. To my surprise the wonderful Manager Dana immediately came over and admitted that they failed on the steak. He explained that they usually get great cuts from the provider, but recently not so much and he actually called the owner and told him they simply can’t be offering this kind of steak as this was not the first bad cut he has seen this evening. Dana did not charge me for the steak as well as the wine and offered a free desert. Dana did exactly what I’d expect a Manager to do in this caliber of a restaurant and that alone makes me want to come back again whichever we will do so!“

“From the moment we entered, the staff was friendly and accommodating. We didn’t have reservations for dinner anywhere this evening and they were happy to squeeze us in. Famished from our active day and long search for a restaurant with availability, we were ready to get down to business. They had a few interesting options on their appetizer menu. We decided on the egg rolls and a couple of signature cocktails, which all came out pretty quick compared to the amount of time and care that was probably put into each. We had a hard time choosing entrees as we love pasta, cheese, and meat (who doesn’t??) but finally settled on the gnocchi and bolognese. Both great! So great that instead of stuffing ourselves of the large portion, we tried to stop so that we would have a meal-sized portion for leftovers. Keyword: tried. It was hard to stop eating! We managed to salvage some to enjoy later and our wonderful server Eliana (sp?) packed it up for us. Throughout the meal, our server came by, to check in and never let our water glasses come close to empty. They had some yummy donuts on display near the entrance. We commented on how adorable they were. The staff was quick to offer a few to us at no charge which was really nice. Sadly, we were just too full from our meal to accept. We didn’t partake this time, but we did see a number of people seemingly come in just to browse the wine and grab a bottle to take home. They had a pretty good selection. From the exceptional service to the decadent pasta dishes, we’re coming back for sure. How this place isn’t packed to the gills on a Saturday night, I have no idea! Keep up the good work, keep doing what you’re doing!“

“What an incredible place to stop at while snowmobiling at Vail Pass. We were told to stop here by the USFS, and we were not disappointed. We strolled in on a Monday afternoon and were pleasantly greeted by the wonderful staff.Once seated, we were served their homemade barbecue chips on the house. The cliff burger was a newly added menu item, and was the best burger I’ve had in quite some time. The chef made an in-house barbecue sauce with a hint of bourbon that complimented the smoked gouda over a perfectly grilled beef patty. And don’t even get me started on this fries. We had both sweet potato fries as well as their home fries, both were exceptionally cooked, seasoned, and fresh.Everything about this showed that the chef takes pride in his craft.Unlike other establishments, Mango’s serves genuine coke products. If you’re snowmobiling in the area, note that they were very accommodating with all of our gear, and provided a self serve water station. This is a must stop spot, if you’re reading this review, look no further.“

“One of the quintessential locals bars in Vail. Great vibe if you are into a sawdust on the floor locals divey type vibe. Definitely a Boston centric feel. Regardless, great patrons, great staff, and a great room to catch a bite and a drink if you are trying to avoid the over embellished typical ski resort lobby bar and you actually want to hang out in a place with character.Vegetarian options: Not many, typical bar fareKid-friendliness: Kids are welcome“

“Nestled in Vail, Mountain Standard epitomizes cozy upscale dining with its inviting ambiance and delectable offerings. Despite not having reservations for our party of seven on a bustling Saturday afternoon, we were promptly accommodated, and the service was impressively quick. The restaurant boasts a wide variety of drinks and a menu that caters to diverse tastes. Our culinary journey included the hot chicken, which left a satisfying impression, complemented by delightful biscuits. However, the true standout was the butternut squash babaganoush, a flavor sensation that transported our taste buds.As expected in a tourist town like Vail, prices at Mountain Standard lean towards the higher end. However, the exceptional quality of the food and the overall dining experience justify the premium.“

“The lunch specials or moderate not over price but very good. I had elk chili and a half a sandwich. It was excellent.“
“Vail Brewing Company is a local brewery for me. As a result, I've visited many times. Always a good experience. Their beers are excellent. I can recommend this without reservations, as long as you understand this is a very casual experience. No food is available from within the brewery. There is a taco truck outside. It's totally permissible to bring the food into the brewery.“

“Almost didn't order because of the low rating on Google. Trip advisor had it at 4.5...SO GLAD WE ORDERED!! It arrived quickly and was delicious! We had the Gnar (supreme) and the Flyin" Hawaiian.. both were perfect! Good sauce, plenty of cheese, fresh toppings...I have no idea why the low ratings. Just try it!! You'll love it!“

“This is the only true ski bar in vail. The best place to have a beer after a day on the hill. The vibes are unbeatable. I love all the art on the wall. It can get busy but the bartenders always get you a drink quickly. Special shoutout to bartender Zac who remembers me every year when I visit.“

“Atmosphere nice but expected more of a deal, mountain decor atmosphere instead of a large open restaurant. Unfortunately sat next to family with loud kids. Service was excellent. Only a few steak options. Food quality good not great. As expected for a Ritz resort restaurant, very overpriced. 50/50 on whether I'd go back.“

“My husband and I were passing through Vail and stumbled upon this restaurant. We have ate at a plethora of Asian restaurants but this is definitely at the top of our list. I would’ve taken photos but we dug in right away. We had Spicy Edamame, Spicy Tuna Roll, and Gyoza for appetizers. For our entrees we had the Imperial Ribs & Spicy Curry Beef. Btw their entrees are family style so be prepared to eat a lot!“

“Great food! Good drinks! Excellent service!“
“I'm really not sure why, but this is our first time here! After seeing it on the news (after the tornado hit it), we thought we really should give it a try! It's kind of the old style diner (type) of environment. However, I heard it had been recently remodeled, everything looked new and clean. We were seated immediately, given menus, and the waitperson took care of us in a reasonable timeframe. I included pictures of the menu... there is everything you would expect from a breakfast/lunch place, and more on the menu!We had the chicken and waffles. For the price, the portion and quality was in line. The chicken was more of a chicken finger type of chicken, nothing special. However, the waffle was very light and fluffy! All in all, worth the value. It's probably only a 4 star place, but for what it is, I'm giving it 5 (for service, location, and the value). I'm sure we'll be back, if only because their everything omelette sounds too good not to try!“

“Best kept secret in the mountains, you’re gonna be here a while because the gal taking orders is the same gal that has to make the coffee, but the food is worth the wait… hearty, filling, and ample…Parking is tough so if you don’t mind walking then park off main and cruise on over.“
