“Overall, it was amazing as always. One thing about tonight's visit is about the hostess. No smile, no greeting, clearly annoyed. Asked how many in our party, we said 4. She informed us they close in 30 minutes. We said ok well order quickly. She rolled her eyes and was clearly irritated we were there.

“We had the happy hour dos equis amber. We also had the nachos. The helping for the nachos is quite large and delicious. We were getting full , so we shared the chicken and beef fajitas. They were awesome! Definitely recommend them. We would definitely come back again!“

“We are still looking for our "go to" Mexican place in the Tri Lakes area. We'll go back for take out, but it's not a full service dining restaurant. I had chili rellenos, which is my test for authentic Mexican. Done right, they are slightly crunchy, and have a great chili flavor, lots of cheese and some sort of sauce. These were not cooked quite long enough, so were pretty hard, but had plenty of cheese and a good flavor. The accompanying rice and beans were pretty good.
One guest had the carne asada plate, with seasoned beef that was quite bland. The quality of the beef wasn't great either. My other guest had the pollo asado plate, which was much better. The meat was well seasoned, delicious in fact. All meals came with very soft (home made?) tortillas.
Two big problems here - one is the place was pretty dirty. The floors had not been swept much less mopped in ages. And there were broken floor tiles right in front of the register. Don't look at the ceiling if you want to keep your lunch down. The front glass was dirty, etc. It needs a top to bottom deep clean, and regular cleaning. 2nd, you can't serve plates with flimsy plastic ware. I understand cutting corners to keep costs down, but what they have is virtually unusable. Foam plates and cups really aren't environmentally appropriate these days.
Value is decent - $55 for 3 of us with sodas is pretty good for quality food prepared fresh. We'll go back, but only for takeout.“

“Clean. Friendly. Good portion sizes for cost. No additional cost for guac or queso (unlike at Chipotle). Food has always been hot and fresh. Extra rice and a quesadilla on the side of a bowl does not cost extra. Can be a little slow when busy but they do pay attention to you and have manners and make sure you get a good amount of what you want.“

“I had the pleasure of being served by Jasmine. She was so beyond friendly and had a bubbly personality which me and my boyfriend adored. I wasn’t sure on what drink to choose from and her suggestion was the perfect one for me. I have only been here one other time before but because of my experience with Jasmine, I will for sure be back very soon.“
