“Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Loved the tea selection! Good food, a bit pricey, yet I think we prefer something maybe more Americanized? Definitely glad we tried it out, and would recommend this place to others for a great experience!“
“I love Aoi, the food and service is always superb. The staff is always very friendly and the atmosphere is nice. The quality of the fish is great, the rice has good flavor and is cooked perfectly, and the ratios in the sushi are always perfect as well. You really can't go wrong with anything you order here.“
“Nice sushi place, good food, the spicy rolls actually have some kick. Service was friendly but they need to work on remembering which table ordered what, no big deal since it's a small place.Dietary restrictions: They offer gluten free prep and have tamari sauce.“
“We went for dinner on the earlier side. Service was very prompt and we were in and out with the kids entertained and fed in an hour. The chef was very accommodating for the kids and asked us what would be best for them regarding the flare ups on the grill etc. The food being ready in stages was great for the young children. The steak was delicious and everything was cooked perfectly.Vegetarian options: Plenty of veggie options available. Cooking on the same surface as the meat might be an issue for some.Dietary restrictions: The server asked about dietary restrictions before taking our order.Parking: Parking could be a little tight if going at a busy time.Kid-friendliness: They had high chairs and immediately brought kids water cups out. The chef was very accommodating and put on a show for the little ones. They were thrilled and enjoyed all the food.“
“The best sushi in Boulder. I guarantee. The green mochi with strawberry in the center was one of the best desserts i think I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The service was super nice, and the atmosphere was top?, highly recommend going out to dinner here. They deserve all the attention! On a fall night their service and the miso soup warmed my heart and my soul!!!Thanks for the amazing food sushi chefs, I never thought I would be so stunned by fish this far from an ocean!“
“I have never liked sushi until I came here. Both my wife and I have never really been fans, but some friends took us here and I fell in love. Their eel dragon roll and the baked roll called “Go Bronco’s” was amazing. The people at the front were also so kind and so caring. It is shocking this place is so small. It deserves all the praise it could possibly get and then some! I will be eating here anytime I think of having sushi, and now because of this place showing me how good sushi can be, will be a lot! Thanks for such a great experience!“
“It was -5 degrees in the midst of a cold December evening. All I could think about was ramen. This voice in my head was like ramen, Ramen, RAMEN! So after investigating a few different places I went to Udon Kashi for their ramen. It was rather Devine in flavor and texture. Besides the ramen being tasty, the host was super helpful with helping me pick out the right ramen. She was funny too! Give them a fair shake and let me know what you think!“
“Been going here for over half a decade with all of my friends, I call this place home. Larry is basically my god-father at this point. If you’ve never been here before, you haven’t lived. I recommended the beef fried rice, dabble in some sushi, and a little taste of scrumptious Saki bombs. Welcome to CU, thank Larry for me, and enjoy!“
“We ordered the udon thick noodles, mango roll, tempura appetizer, and egg drop soup. All of the food tasted really good. The tempura was a good deal. The food came well packaged and hot, and the delivery driver came at the exact minute of our earliest ETA.“
“My husband and I have been dining here for the last couple of years and every time we are blown away by how delicious and consistent the food is! The service is top notch and the staff are always friendly. Recommend the shumai and salad as starters, also all of the sushi rolls are good quality fish. We have tried all of the ramens and have enjoyed each one- great flavor and authentic. Hands down one of the best restaurants in Denver.“
“I am biased. I lived most of my life minutes from an ocean and freah seafood. That being said, this is still one of my favorite sushi places in Boulder. And they have quite a few really good non sushi items. Discount sushi ranks right up there with discount brain surgeon... Def not cheap, but also when is one of the best cheap? The new location is a serious upgrade in every way, except the bathroom is nolonger as funky as it once was.Vegetarian options: Quite a few very tasty veggie sushi roll options for those who dont like or can no longer eat raw fish...“
“Good quality sushi for the price in the Denver area. Sashimi is nicely done and nice cuts of fish, rolls are better than most as well, although still Krab (not crab) for those that are ordering. I'm from the Seattle area so finding a decent sushi restaurant for a good price took awhile. They are consistent as well, which is nice to see. ?“
“Bao Sushi Bar exceeded my expectations in every way. The prices were incredibly reasonable, especially considering the generous portions of fish served. The staff was exceptionally accommodating and attentive, ensuring a delightful dining experience. I highly recommend Bao Sushi Bar to anyone craving delicious sushi without breaking the bank.“
“Very nice restaurant! I love this place! Amazing lunch for the price! Very nice dinner for business meetings. Staff is very good about refilling water if that's all you're drinking. Nice selection of sake as well. Sushi is amazing!!! Entrées are also amazing!!! Soups are also delicious. I love the Miso soup.“
“I got the Loch Ness roll and the mile high tofu- my sister got a Philly roll. When I tell you the service and food were top tier! I don’t live in Boulder, so the staff being so aware and accommodating of vegan diets was so refreshing. Any question I had was answered with confidence and I didn’t feel like I had to worry if something wasn’t vegan. The tofu was honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. Everything was very well seasoned and packed a flavor punch. I’ll definitely be coming back!“
“i ended up coming here on a whim and was surprised with how much i love this place. the staff were super kind, the food looked and tasted amazing, and the inside was very clean. i’m from the coast so i can be a bit picky about sushi but this was delicious! also highly recommend their warm sake. 100% coming back here, and the prices aren’t bad either.Parking: free parking and lots of spots available.Wheelchair accessibility: everything accessible by wheelchair and lots of rooms between tables to get by“
“Spicy Thai and Sushi has some of the best food I’ve ever had! All of their curry bases are vegan and absolutely flavorful. I love the panang curry with tofu and veggies! My husband loves the tropical fried rice. Their restaurant is very clean and welcoming and the customer service is always good. Thank you for everything!❤️?Vegetarian options: Tons! Try the dang panang!! You won’t regret it!Dietary restrictions: The owners and employees are very knowledgeable and contentious about dietary restrictions.“
“We received their menu in the mail and thought we would try it because he loves sushi and I love my food cooked, there were a lot of choices to choose for both of us, the service and the atmosphere were superb, the food was awesome, this is on the top 3 restaurant list to go back to often. Loved this place.“
“I recently had lunch here and it was great! They have a lot of vegetarian and even vegan options. I ordered the vegetable poke bowl and it was sooo flavorful and amazing! Highly recommend trying here. The price is unbeatable and the food is great quality.Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian and vegan offerings“
“I highly, highly recommend Sushi Aji! Not only are the staff (Stella at the register) and owner (Yuki) very friendly, they are equally efficient, and the food was fantastic! I was serviced immediately upon entering and I ordered to go at the counter. Even after arriving home, my sushi and noodles were packaged wonderfully with no issues or concerns. The establishment was also very tidy and clean. If you're looking for authentic, delicious Japanese cuisine, you know where to go :)“
“While at Zeppelin Station, I was drawn in by these unique sushi rolls. I had a hard time deciding what to get, but ended up going with the Maui Wowie Roll. It was delicious and a pretty big roll. I Ioved the unique ingredients like goat cheese that they use. There were so many other rolls I wanted to try so I would definitely come back to try more.“
“Came in with my friends and was greeted by all the employees. We decided to hang out at the sushi bar which was great. Our chef was very thorough with all the specialties as well as all the happy hour options. Good food. Good beer selection. Was a fun spot for some sushi after a long morning out at the flatirons. THANKS AGAIN WILL AND CREW !“
“Love Japanese Cuisine? Found this spot, and it turned out to be super delicious! I used to be a Hibachi chef for a 7 years and miss it greatly. Coming to these places always brings me back because it's a fun and entertaining dine-in experience. Not only that, but you always get an insane amount of food and never leave hungry. This location is clean, well kept, and great for family and friend parties. Service was friendly, food was well seasoned and cooked from experienced chefs. Had to get a separate take-out order because I forgot to take my pictures at the table! Oops on my part. Come here to enjoy great drinks at the bar, sit around a family sized tapan grill, or at the sushi bar. Kid-friendliness and plenty of parking.“
“Our favorite sushi spot in the Boulder-Denver area. Typically we get take-out and the drive through is super convenient. I always get the sashimi special and it’s a great value because the cuts of fish are really large. Plus everything always tastes fresh. The service is always fast as well both for takeout and dine-in.“
