“Great new neighborhood spot! Food is wonderful but rather salty, cut back on the added salt-the food doesn’t need it! And it’s loud! Could barely hear myself let alone my friends. Not sure in the small space if there is anything they can do, but it’s loud. Try it though, it’s worth it and happy to have them in the neighborhood!“
“Barcelona was a great experience. Though we were not able to get a table for two at 1930 (walk in), we found open seating at the bar. The bar service was punctual and polite. We ordered our paella early since we knew about the lead time (1 hour). We then started with aperos of boquorones, empanadas, whipped goat cheese, cocktails (dos peninsulas) and wine (Pedro Ximenez), all of which we'd recommend. The atmosphere was upbeat, lively, with good mix of music and dim lighting. Would recommend.“
“My fiancé and I went to Rioja last night for our anniversary. We made note on our res that we were there to celebrate and the servers were the best! They sent over an unexpected celebratory glass of champagne for the both of us. The service was 10/10, they had wonderful recommendations, kept the table clean from crumbs and dishes etc. Let's start with the drinks- I had the Pisco cocktail which was fun, it's on the sweeter side, if you like a sweet cocktail with mint and grapefruit, this is the drink for you. My partner got the Mediterranean olive oil cocktail - so fun and the presentation was beautiful. The food was unique and inspired. We ordered the set tasting menu, we loved everything we tried. Highly recommend the artichoke tortellini and the venison was cooked to perfection. The restaurant felt high end but not stuffy. Thank you for an awesome date night!!“
“I love this place! The servers are always very friendly and knowledgeable. We love going to try a nice bottle of wine, and all of the small plates we have tried are delicious! They also have a nice happy hour and prices are super reasonable for what you get.“
“We had such a fun and wonderful night here! We came for happy hour and everything was so delicious. The bartenders were especially friendly/ attentive. The chef does a great job creating authentic Spanish plates and adds his own twist to them, and we loved it. So excited to come back and try more!!Parking: There’s a free parking garage right next door that had plenty of spaces available.“
“The food was great (grilled octopus, mushrooms, salad, flan), the drinks outstanding, and the service remarkable. It is tapas pace, so the flow will take some time. We were celebrating an anniversary, and the staff made it so very special.“
“WOW — A true taste of Oaxaca in downtown Denver! Zocalito blends the exceptional flavors of one of Mexico's most renowned foodie destinations into contemporary and approachable fare. As a traveler to Oaxaca, I was surprised to see the authentic spices and flavors of the region on full display here. Do not miss the calamari kale salad or the ceviche to start. Brb—drooling. Oh, and the drinks? Rico cocktails with a killer menu of mezcal and tequila. The chef and front-of-house staff bring the place to life with lots of love and care for your experience. This place has it all — Alebrijes from Oaxaca color the space with culture in this modernly-appointed restaurant that excites the senses. Expect high-end dining with zero attitude. Can't wait to come back!!! <3“
“This food is DELICIOUS. We get the family combo, 2 whole chickens with sides. The meat has always been great, wonderful flavor. The rice is super yummy. I don't know why the reviews are low. This is a great place for pick up. Large portion for the price. We are always happy with our food. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the physical appearance needs updating and the menu also. Otherwise it's a wonderful place to pick up to go food.“
