“I have been ordering takeouts at Il Forno for the past seven. I started with bacon and onions pizza which was great. I then changed to eggplant pizza and it has to be the best I have ever had. Now I have moved on to shrimp marinara with linguine and I can't tell you how great this dish is. The shrimp are so large and fresh and the sauce is excellent. The filet of sole must weigh at least 2 pounds and my husband gets it every week. The filet is enough for two meals and so is the shrimp. Thank you Il Forno for making our Friday takeout a special treat.”

I had a very tasty onion soup, a perfectly prepared prime rib w high end fries (could have been a huge potato), a Yorkshire pudding bread, and a dark dark chocolate cake dessert w real whipped cream. Relaxing and satisfying, has become a favorite.”

Crust was suuuuppper thin, crispy at the top, foldable with excellent sauce and just the right amount of cheese. Very reasonable! Also ordered a ruben for the next day and this did NOT disaapoint! Even with reheat, it was DELICIOUS! Very generous corned beef, tangy sauce, plenty of kraut & cheese. FILLING! Came wrapped in foil so super easy 2nd dinner . Will absolutely order again. “We ordered two cakes from Sweets on Main to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. Not only was the owner so nice, pick up was a breeze and the cakes were delicious. No pic of the GF chocolate cake but there was not a piece leftover. The strawberry mascarpone was light and refreshing - perfect for our one year old who we don’t want having a lot of sugar. Will definitely be using Sweets on Main again!”

I can’t get enough of the chicken souvlaki meal: $17 for a Greek salad, French fries, a giant hunk of feta cheese, a toasted pita and 3-4 fantastically cooked and seasoned chicken breasts? YES, PLEASE. I order it when we go here for BREAKFAST. Lol. I recently had it delivered through uber eats but we also love their breakfast and they have outstanding burgers too! Definitely kicks the elm and duchess’ butts. Oh yeah, and since I had to meet a quota on uber eats to get the discount, I got an order of their rice pudding which may be the best rice pudding I’ve ever had. Super sweet and creamy. No lie, I’m probably going there today before I go hang out with my dad. 😀”

Waitress wanted me out so waitress want more people come in to take my seat. Because I am using sign language talk to my iPhone to my friend that they think it’s waste time to sit too long. Forced me to leave Found out they don’t accept credit cards none. Only cash. I didn’t see any signs on entry door glass. It was on cashier very small sign”

“On Saturday, June 11th after my Mom’s Memorial service I brought 35 people to lunch. The waitstaff was well organized, very attentive, not to mention the food was OUTSTANDING!! Everyone ordered off the menu, drinks were served along with appetizers and dessert. We all ate at the same time which is hard to do with that many people. I would highly recommend Cafe Fiore in Branford, CT to anyone who is looking to have an event or just a nice lunch or dinner. They staff worked so well together that I gave them a 30% gratuity. WELL DONE CAFE FIORE!”

“I’ve been going to G Cafe nearly every morning since moving to Branford in 2020. They have amazing food, coffee and lunch options. Their staff is incredibly friendly and I always look forward to morning coffee there. Especially when the weather is nice, there are several bistro tables to enjoy fresh air and good conversation!”

The bar and the drink menu and selection is exceptional. The restaurant is always sparkling clean and the service couldn’t get any better. “Ordered a few times for delivery and pickup. Delivery is great, always on time and if not, always before expected. Personal favorite pizzas I'd recommend are the Potato Pie, Grandma Pizza, and the Chicken Caesar Pizza. All are delicious and these impressed my friends and I very much, sauce is very flavorful, and the crust is cooked just right, not too crispy but also not too floppy. Last time I was there I picked up an Avocado Chicken Panini, and a J Blue Panini, which were both very delicious. I'm a big fan of the Blueberry sauce on the J blue, it surprised me! Currently a big fan of the pastas, you cannot go wrong with any of them like the Pollo Monte Carlo, Chicken Cacciatore, Penne Alla Vodka, etc. Fair prices too, and all of the staff are very friendly and kind too, 5/5 MUST TRY, it surprised me being my new spot!”

“Possibly the best prepared Italian food deli in Branford. I’ve been a big fan of PNM deli for 30 years plus. As long as I can remember. My favorites there include sausage and pepper, broccoli Rob, chicken and onions and chicken Parmesan. Their pizza is not one of my favorites for that I personally love another great Italian favorite in Branford, LoMonacos
But if you’re looking for ready to eat ready to go food, they also make terrific subs. I’m trying to stay away from carbs these days so I don’t eat too many of those anymore, but I stopped at PNM once a week at least.”

There was 1 occasion last year I believe where a mobile order took like 30 minutes longer than it should have but that is the only negative experience I have ever had here. I understand that sometimes you're not staffed well and that during busy times that can lead to delays. Otherwise, these guys are always on time and fill the bowl. They don't skimp. Food is delicious, well priced, well filled.”

“Normally I have a good experience..I placed an order online at 1:30am on weekend (open till 2am) The,y called me to CANCEL my order!!..I mentioned they were open till 2am, she just said they were closing at 1..That was it..too bad-i couldn't believe it, I go there late after work all the time!!-”
