“We were looking for a new unique breakfast place during the week and found zinneken's. The music was very loud when walking in- perhaps to cover up the sounds of nearby construction noise. We were surprised that only bottled water was available instead of tap, but not a dealbreaker. The savory poached egg waffle was very nicely served and tasty. We didn't find the seating to be especially comfortable or spacious. The food was great, but overpriced as if it were a more inviting, nicer quality place.“

“Everything is delicious!!! Everything!!The wait staff is the best!Waiting in line is worth it!Remember one line only!! Don't even try to cut! Lol!Wheelchair accessibility: It would be very tight but doable!I'm sure they would help get it done if needed. Its just crowded and the hallway is narrow.“

“The food here is excellent and very yummy. I showed up after a early morning walk which built up a major appetite. I met the previous first selectmen Andreas Bisbikos for 9 am. We were seated and we both ordered some fresh coffee. Andreas ordered a fruity waffle with extra whip cream on it. I ordered a extra large omelet filled with a huge of amount of hash stuffed inside. While half way through the omelet I felt my stomach rumbling and was a little considered by the time I was done eating close to a pound of hash and egg I stood up to use the bathroom and before I even made one step I released a horrible giant hash meat butt bomb. The restaurant is very small and everyone heard the enormous gas blast that was just released from my exhaust hole. I was so embarrassed and so wasn't Andreas who was laughing at me and holding a napkin over his face because of the wretched scent. I made it half way to the bathroom and yet again a hash beef butt bomb explosion. I couldn't walk because I had a accident also in my brand new jogging pants. The waitress came over and tried helping me up but she ran away after smelling the gas. Andreas stood up came to my assistance and rolled me on to my back and started to perform a bowl CPR. Andreas kneeled down and took my legs and put the into the air and started pumping them back and forth and spreading my legs at the same time. I felt a huge bowl movement and it was released and was disgusting . I appreciate Andreas for his help. I sat back down after all this and talked about myself purchasing Colchester Pizza.“

“Such a wonderful and cool place! Welcoming atmosphere with people who enjoy working there. They have a garden in the back and grow some of their own food. Those cherry tomatoes were the best I ever had! I normally don’t even like them. Their coffee and lattes are top notch. The baked goods are amazing also. I was there yesterday, they had a chocolate peanut butter cupcake and lavender shortbread, both delicious! Everything is reasonably priced too, this place can’t be beat. 11/10 recommend“

“if you like biscuits and gravy then you will LOVE it at Rise and Shine. I used to live down south and its not even close. Even in New Orleans I could not find a place that even comes close to how good Rise and Shine does the biscuits and gravy. They also have an amazing Irish Benedict. Actually everyone I have brought there has loved whatever they get. Some of the lunch/breakfast specials are very different and delicious.“

“This is definitely a newer cafe for when I pulled up, it had that nice and fresh look and feel; even when I stepped inside. Folks were already tearing into their food and I was seated promptly. I was here for their Chili!! Grabbed mine with onions and cheese, a blend of hearty flavors and comforting warmth if you ask me. That first spoonful had the rich aroma of simmering spices dancing around my senses, inviting me to indulge in its savory depths. The chili itself boasts a robust base, with tender chunks of beef enveloped in a harmonious blend of tomatoes, beans and aromatic spices. Each bite had subtle hints of cumin, paprika and chili powder adding layers of complexity to this dish. The addition of onions lends a savory note, perfectly complementing the bold flavors of the chili. The texture adds a delightful contrast to this stew, allowing the sweetness to balance out the heat from the spice. The cheese that I had mixed in, each gooey spoonful melds with the rich broth, creating a velvety blanket of indulgence that coats the tongue in creamy goodness. Even my side snacks of the bacon, egg and cheese along with my kielbasa came through to only complement my Chili, providing their own great flavors to the point, I even dipped my kielbasa into the Chili and took the flavors alone on an emotional rollercoaster ride for me. IT WAS ALL AMAZING!!!“
