“A guy at work slipped me a Colombian cheese bun one morning and I’ve thought about it everyday since. I went at noon. It’s still amazing but I’d suggest getting it as close to out of the oven as possible. I can’t wait to go though the rest of there menu.“
“I absolutely love this little piece of East Haven. It absolutely represents East Haven and everything that makes it great. It has amazing Italian food, a sweet dessert section and hot chicken wings. The young employees there fit the culture perfectly. They are young, caring and nice. I have eaten here even though I typically take out. They have three little tables to eat at and a cute outdoor section to eat at.“
“A very unique and a nice place to stop. They only have take out but have a nice selection in the refrigerated case & offer hot soup to go with a choice of a roll or crackers. The soups are delicious! The staff is friendly and they offer cookies and sweet treats as well! I definitely recommend ?“
“So this place is a little gold mine. Does a great business with a mass of loyal local customers. Inside it's dated and a bit dirty. Very limited seating. Food is ordinary and reminds me of something that would come out of an average family's kitchen. I ordered a simple egg sandwich on rye toast with a large coffee and the bill was $8.16!!! Are you kidding me??? Way overpriced for what I got!!“
“I have been to this restaurant twice since it has opened and can’t recommend it enough. The quality of food is something to talk about. Recently went to celebrate seeing an old friend after quite some time and could not have had a better experience. From start to finish we felt special and taken care of. “Ordered from their website which was super easy and convenient. We ordered drunken noodles, pad woosen, thai bubble tea and the mango juice. Everything was packaged nicely and was ready upon arrival. Even after getting home the food was not mushy at all! The drunken noodles were spicy and super flavorful. The pad woosen was loaded with veggies. Will be back again!“

“I literally can’t believe how incredible the food was. This is what casual Chinese used to taste like back in the day. It was as if I was a child tasting boneless spare ribs and crab rangoon for the very first time.. The spare ribs were charred and tender and the rangoon was made with actual crab as opposed to the typical “crab flavored” cream cheese. The pork fried rice was also remarkably flavorful with large cubes of pork and perfectly cooked onion. Those who have complained about the food specifically must be miserable Karens. This is my new favorite casual Chinese spot. 10/10“
“They serve all the Chinese takeout classics without being drenched in unhealthy fat. They have large selections of soups, as well. The chef is friendly and we did not wait long for meals. “I have to say I’m so impressed by Pho Thai! This hidden gem is right in plain sight on Orange Street. You HAVE to go on a Friday night when they do their braised lamb shank special - it’s by far the best lamb I’ve ever had in my life. It’s so tender and flavorful! It’s available for dine in only every Friday. We tried a variety of their most popular menu items and weren’t disappointed by any of them. The staff was very attentive with the food coming out quickly, and the restaurant had a nice vibe, especially near the coffee bar with some hanging, swaying chairs. We even had a couple lattes before we left and were impressed by the quality. I would definitely come back here!“
“We order take out and we had boneless spare ribs and broccoli in brown sauce pork fried rice . The only disappointment was the e Gf rolls very greasy they didn't sit on a rack long enough .. normally they are very good . The broccoli and Shrimp very good and nice size shrimp .. “Rare find! From the moment we walked in, we were made to feel welcomed. From the food to the amazing staff, it was all delicious and well made. The martini, mojito, and Shirley temple were all flavorful. We loved the chicken wings. My boys couldn't get enough of the fries. It was all topped off with three amazing desserts. We will be back!“
