“My favorite place in Fairfield to get salads. They sell wonderful curated salads as well as make your own salads. Ingredients are all very fresh and delicious. The place is family owned and when you walk in you are immediately greeted by one of the owners! They are very friendly and involved in running the restaurant. My favorite salads are the Secret Asian and Southwestern modified to be vegetarian.“
“A new spot in Fairfield, Fred's has a great selection of premade meals that you can take home to heat up. Soups, entrees, desserts, etc. I ordered a sandwich which was made quickly and was very tasty. They have a nice catering menu with good variety. Store was extremely clean and homey. Great first impression; I'll be back!“
“All of the lunch specials were good, wish they had brown or wild rice. Only white and pork fried. The chicken with broccoli was great, shrimp were large and juicy and the veggies crispy and delish. Definitely our new fav in the area.Prepared promptly. Just one request, DO NOT ADD PLASTIC UNLESS REQUESTED CUTLERY! PLEASE!!! SAVE THE PLANET :)“
“Perfect takeout Chinese restaurant. No online ordering, you have to call, and you cannot dine it. No frills at all. Food was quick, cheap (in a good way), and delish. I got the General Tso's chicken and while it wasn't spicy at all, the crunch was fantastic and the quality of the chicken was much higher than you find at a lot of strip-mall type restaurants. The eggrolls were big and crunchy too.“
“Stopped in late on a Thursday night in November and were very kindly told by Gabby R. that they were out of baguettes and romaine :( she let us know that we could easily swap the romaine for spinach if we wanted and get an alternate type of bread. She was very apologetic and kind in letting us know and it did not deter us at all. Later, Gabby stopped by our table to ask how our meal was and offer us some pastries on the house because of our understanding of the out of stock items and because the restaurant was closing soon. We spoke with her about her life and learned that she was in school part time while working at Panera. We loved hearing how dedicated she was to getting to know her customers and how she always led with kindness, even with tough customers. Thank you gabby R for making our trip to Panera amazing and i will be back if i ever come back to Fairfield!!“
“Cj is a good cook. My favorite is oxtails, white rice with cabbage. Once in a while I'll get something else. When they do have fried chicken, breast only, I get that. Beef and veggie patties, sometimes the j*** pork. ? I like CJ's, I usually go every Friday.“
“All you can eat style. Fresh fish and nice rolls. It is an amazing place to have good quality sushi for a reasonable price. Parking is hard though.Parking: Be careful of where you park. Vehicles are constantly towed if parked in prohibited areas, and there are just a few parking spots.“
“Unique place with a pour your own beer and wine program. The food was good. Service good. Decor was modern cold like all the new restaurants. Gone is the full bar, so don't expect to get a cocktail. The place served its purpose for the evening. I don't mind a self service gas pump. But, when I'm in a restaurant I expect full service especially in this day and age when the customer is expected to fork over a twenty percent tip.“
“The food is amazing, I forgot when last time I ate such a delicious Chinese food. Everything is fresh, well seasoned and very tasty. Nice stuff, friendly, inside looks good, even I had pick up order. I checked around looks good. Nice quit area with parking upfront. Very recommended!!! You won’t be disappointed!!!!Thank you to chef and his team!!!Dietary restrictions: Good choice for people who don’t really like fatty food.“
“Never been there before. Went for lunch. Extremely friendly atmosphere. A random stranger overheard that it was my birthday and bought us an off the menu bottle of wine. We were the only non Portuguese speakers, but didn’t feel uncomfortable. The food takes a while to arrive but was excellent. The service was attentive. The grilled octopus special was particularly good. We’ll be back.“
“The pho is very good, and the servers are very friendly, but the restaurant seems dirty and the music is horrible. They should play asian music or something relevant to the theme, but they're playing this terrible pop music, which really interferes with any enjoyment of the food.Parking: Free parking lot across the busy street“
