“Incredible experience. Food was phenomenal. The portions were large and seasoned perfectly. Lasuni Gobi was cooked to perfection and is my gauge for how good an Indian restaurant is. The service was phenomenal and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our food and experience.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian dishes are clearly labeled and there are extensive vegetarian sections for both appetizers and entrees“
“The food is exceptionally good and tastes amazing with Haleem that is available daily until it lasts. The only thing they need to improve is to reduce the wait time after placing an order which usually takes more than 30 minutes to serve you.Wheelchair accessibility: They have allocated parking for disabled people at the front of the restaurant.“
“This is the BEST Indian food I’ve ever had. And trust me I have tried many in the area. I always get the Chicken Korma with white meat and onion naan. Seriously so delicious!! Great place for takeout!! I truly cannot believe the negative reviews on this place. They are crazy. This is a must try if you’re looking for yummy quality Indian food.“
“Stopped by on a Friday night. The place was quiet with mood lighting (dimmed lights). My date and I sat ourselves. The waitress was kind and helpful, I told her I was vegan and she said they could happily make the fish I chose vegan. The only fail was both meals were zero on spice level, my date wanted 10/10 and I wanted 3. Other than that, the food was delicious. We had a lovely time there. You can tell the owner (I think our waitress) really cares.“
“We dine here at least once a week. it’s my 10 year old daughter’s favorite restaurant. She loves the classic chicken tikka masala but also lasuni gobi.the manager and wait staff are so personable and helpful. They always make great recommendations and the food is honestly the best Ive had in Fairfield county!! Keep it up!!“
“I almost left the restaurant before I got my food(I had to be somewhere urgent) and the guy ran out of the store with the bag in hand calling “sir, sir!”. Great experience, great food, incredible service. Greatly recommended for all who want Indian takeout.“
“A family-run business making what is essentially home-cooked Subcontinental food. Each dish has its own flavor and texture (i.e., it doesn't all taste the same). Five things we've tried stand out in particular: nihari beef (Pakistani beef stew), tandoori chicken (the moistest you've ever tried), naan and their basmati rice.“
“The Naan restaurant, I ordered their chicken tikka marsala. I must say, the authenticity of this dish was exceptional. The premium white chunks of chicken were cooked to perfection, and it was evident that this restaurant does not cut any corners in ensuring that their food is at its best. The flavors were rich and well-balanced, and the dish truly captured the essence of Indian cuisine. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with the authenticity and attention to detail at this restaurant. Amazing service by Chelsea!!“
“If you've visited & enjoyed the extraordinary culinary delights of India then you know how difficult it is to get a meal with the subtly and range of Indian food in Connecticut. That problem has been solved for my wife and I with our recent dinner at Taste of Everest. This mom & pop six table restaurant left us both satisfied and looking forward to our next visit. We began with the Saffron Butter Garlic Crab which was a perfect beginning with a serving of naan. The vegetable steamed momo (dumplings) came with a variety of sauce dips including a mint dip and a 'burn your face off' fiery option. After our generous main courses it was impossible to order any desert but we will definitely do so on our next visit.“
