“I used to stop by the Hartford location often, and recently ordered from the Glastonbury location. I forgot how much I love this place, specifically the PB and J bowl. The granola and peanut butter are everything - so, so YUMMY. I used to order it with soy or coconut milk, but this time I went with the oat milk and it was perfect. I'd be in trouble if I lived close by, but I am so happy Rush Bowls is available on DoorDash!“
“This is a great spot to meet friends but I do miss the couches on the patio where I used to sit and read in the summer. Their drinks menu is always updated. Got the Chocolate Pecan Martini and my friend got the Sweetheart Martini which has White Chocolate liqueur, Rumchata and Grenadine for the pink color. Both were delicious. My friend ordered the Pear Salad but substituted feta for the Gorgonzola and added chicken. I got the risotto special which came with poached salmon, which I exchanged for grilled salmon. The salmon was perfectly cooked and melted in my mouth. I usually bring part of my entree home but the risotto was so good and the right size, so I just finished it off! If you are debating what to order, definitely go for the short rib entree - the perfect comfort food over mashed potatoes! I love the cozy couches inside and the dark lighting which gives a very intimate feel. I would love to sit at the bar or the kitchen bar sometime, but have sat in the side dining room, the main dining room and patio at various times. All great spots, although the main dining area was a little chilly by the door one visit and the hostess kindly moved us to an interior table. The lighting in the newer dining area is brighter if that matters to you.“
“Excellent vibe and atmosphere. I've only been solo 2x at the bar.. the Bartenders are awesome. The food is high quality, but over priced for the portion size and my Entree one night was overly salty and the next time I went my vegetable with my Duck breast was salty as well. I appreciate seasoned food. Being a part of the food service business for almost 35 years in various capacities makes me a food snob I suppose. I'll have to try some different items. The Curry- Crab Soup and Maple Dessert was awesome.“
“From the moment we entered the business, I knew we were in a comfortable place! We were greeted by a staff member from behind the counter, and were surrounded but great food, desserts and new friends.Our lunch was made promptly despite the busy lunchtime rush. “Went before a Wolfpack game and they did a great job handling the crowds but happy we had a reservation since there was a wait due to multiple things at the XL center - great to see Harford so busy ! Had the rice bowl and hubby had the chicken wrap - wish everything was just a bit spicier since i ordered the spicy port with the spicy chili sauce. Started with a chicken appetizer with a honey mustard sauce - that was good too (no photo). If you have an option, don't order the fries with your meal. Seem to be just frozen steak fries that aren't cooked well enough Never went downstairs but heard the bathroom situation is strange from others in our group -can't even put TP in the toilet ? SMH“
“I've been meaning to try this brewery for a while now. Glad I finally got a chance to visit. No frills, casual atmosphere. Quality beer on tap. I definitely recommend the Stargazer and the Remington. Happy to have so many quality brewery choices in CT.“
“One of the nicest breweries in the state! The atmosphere is top-notch and their food selection is delicious. Loved the presentation for their flights. You scan can the QR code menu at your table, place your order and check out digitally. And they bring it right up to you, wherever you're seated. At most other places this might seem impersonal, but the staff goes above and beyond to make sure you have what you need. Can't wait to come back.“
“I'm back in CT and love love love ice cream. Woke up craving some so I found this spot in Wethersfield. I had Blackraspberry Oreo with Campfire Smores it was deliciousssss ???. Like so freaking good!! As soon as I finished I couldn't wait to go back. Def will be trying everything they have especially the milkshakes. Next time I'm def getting marshmallow fluff as a topping. “I came in here on a Saturday afternoon when I was in town for the Hartford Marathon. It wasn't too busy and it was easy to find a seat. I ordered a flight and a half order of nachos. The half order was a large portion and they did not skim on the toppings!“
“Really well crafted beers. The inside of the brewery is built and decorated to give you a warm, cozy feel. You will not feel like you're on Main St in EH. It made me feel like I was in a brewery in NH or ME. Worth the trip! Will definitely be back!“
“Delicious homemade ice cream! I tried dark chocolate raspberry and mint chocolate chip both were very rich in flavor. They also have dairy free and Italian ice. Pricing overall was fairly standard. Staff was friendly. Both me and my friend enjoyed our ice cream. I came in the winter I can only imagine what this place would be like in the summer. I will definitely be back here. One of my new favorite ice cream places!“
“Incredible! Fabulous Food! Beautiful Setting! Superior Service! Wonderful Wine! Linguine was al dente and luscious with a yummy Crab Sauce! The Chilean Sea Bass was done perfectly and the sauce and accompaniments were just right! The Veal Medallions melted in your mouth and the sauce was sensational. The cappuccino to end the dinner was very creamy and smooth and I loved it!!!! It was perfect meals again at this fine restaurant. We recommend this restaurant highly.“

“Great summer ice cream spot. Order at window service, limited out door seating BUT the ice cream is amazing. Some many creative flavors along with the classics. The price is perfect and the service is great. We got the yippee skippy (peanut butter I cream with caramel, brownie bits and chocolate). The moose tracks is great too.“

“I love to go to Pokemoto. They have really good sauces like the Creamy Miso and make delicious seaweed salad. What I like best about this place is the service though, the servers are always kind and efficient. Today I went to get a Poke bowl and my server, Sophie, helped me pick out some new things to try based on what I liked already. “There are a number of very good restaurants/eateries in Old Wethersfield. Smoked on Main is a gem specializing in BQ and BQ/fusion. It adds a more casual vibe to the area without sacrificing quality. I reviewed the menu before entering and thought I had decided on a very traditional bq meal. But when I saw the specials, my plans went out the window. I chose an order of 2 specials: Turkey empanadas and the beef habanero tacos. Both were presented well and had phenomenal flavor. I don't want to forget to mention that both dishes had a nice kick... not unbearably hot, just a wonderful kick to the taste buds. This place is a great addition to the Old Wethersfield dining scene. There's indoor seating in a very clean and modern interior. This location was the Grange Hall and obviously has gone through a major renovation. There will be outdoor seating once the warmer weather returns. I'll be back.“

This bakery is long standing in the community and it's easy to see why. They make the best treats! I've had their bagels too- reminds me of NY! And once or twice I got a cheese danish - oh to die for! The family is nice and their employees too! They are dependable if you ever need to order cakes!“
“We hired Blue Chip Creamery for an employee appreciation event and we were not disappointed. The ice-cream was delicious and the driver (unfortunately forgot her name, very sweet blonde woman) did a great job keeping up with the orders. The pricing was very fair and the flavors were very unique, people loved the different options! The staff were also super accommodating to our last minute attendee changes. Would 10/10 recommend this truck for any event.“
