I’m not from Greenwich or the area, but this place was exactly what I was looking for. Simple, artisanal style food and coffee with no pressure to stay or take with you. Friendly staff and a very open space cafe. It felt like having a cortado in a garden in the old country. The food was also very tasteful and complimentary with any beverage. Been wanting to try this place because it looks so cute! They have so many pastries and baked goods, it was hard to pick. We ended up getting a classic chocolate chip cookie, matcha cake and a homemade Oreo. All were so delicious and tasted homemade. I can't wait to go back to try the coffee. I also want to go back for happy hour which is from 3-6 week days and is $8 drinks and wine. They also have it on the weekends, but I can't remember the time. Really love coming to Maman on the Ave-would come for the chocolate chip cookie since summer when they opened. Unfortunately, the chocolate chip cookie has changed drastically! It used to be warm and soft, now it’s incredibly hard and does not taste good-seems like they are old-hoping this changes because I love going there!!
