“We have been going for many years and even after a new owner to took over . The services have been always great . My one recommendation and it’s my favorite and had about it many years ago is to carry coconut flavored .. but other then that it’s continues to be a very busy hot spot and a nice hang out in the back . “Ok, now I've eaten there many times.The pizza is like a New York style thin crust which makes the toppings explode. “Top 5 on our list of favorite CT locations, and thankfully close by! High quality ice cream, family owned, and plenty of flavors for everyone. Plus if you're GF, dairy free, or vegan there is something for everyone! Even GF cones, which are much appreciated, are available on site. I do miss the full restaurant from years past. And the location is not desirable being on the busy Berlin Tpke. They do have some picnic tables out back, but still wish they were downtown in a more family-friendly area (of course, they were here before it got so big in the area!). Also cash only, so don't forget to bring! (They do have an ATM) While the ice cream is incredible and so worth it, prices are getting a little high compared to other farm-fresh places that are not cash-only (Almost $6 for a small 1 scoop cone/dish, if that's important to you). Better value to get the 2 scoops+ when you are hungrier or can take some home. They also have a great value "flight" of scoops you can share. Highly recommend!“

“First and foremost the smell just takes you away when step foot inside ! This already has you tasting it in the air ! The staff was incredible and didn’t miss a sprinkle . Kobe was incredibly and charming and I would recommend trying them every week ! Gill presented the cookies to me and they were handled amazingly ! And it smelled so clean and sanitary I asked her name it and was laila and said you will get recognition as well because everyone counts !!! This organization is a sweet place ! “The Mrs. wanted ice cream and so we decided to give this place a try. We figured/hoped it would not be too crowded and at the same time, we wanted it to be good.Well, the ice cream was delicious. The place was more steady than busy thanks to the staff. They were quick and attentive & at the same time, still friendly.Now, back to the ice cream...I was going to get Salty Caramel, but "discovered" something called "Peanut Butter Chip Swirl" - Vanilla Ice Cream with Chocolate Chunks and a peanut butter ripple. I got it on a sugar cone and this thing was all I hoped for. The portion was generous and the flavor fantastic!We will definitely be coming back here again in the future...“

“I have never had a bad ice cream from Bananas! I have always been a lover of their cotton candy ice cream but went in and tried their new flavors and I was blown away. This shop is small, sweet and full of smiles. Great service and care. The only down side I have is I wish it was closer to my house!Dietary restrictions: They offer many options for those who have restrictions.Parking: They have parking in the front and side.Kid-friendliness: My kids love coming to bananas and trying new ice cream and new toppings. The price is perfect and the service is great. We got the yippee skippy (peanut butter I cream with caramel, brownie bits and chocolate). The moose tracks is great too.“

“One of my favorite places to go in the summer is Rita's Italian Ice and Frozen Custard. This place sells soft serve custard, Italian ice, and specialty creations. Be sure to sample a few flavors because some of their flavors may shock you. I have never seen such a large variety of Ice flavors. They serve everything: cotton candy, strawberry colada and unicorn just to name a few of the more surprising flavors! They also have fast service and allow you to try different flavors. My favorite item to order is the gelati: layers of Italian ice and custard. My favorite to mix are mango Italian ice and vanilla custard. However, you're also able to order a cup of just Italian ice or a cup of just custard. You may want to ask for extra containers so that it's easy to take your dessert home or to a cute location to enjoy!“

“Sweet Claude's is a great ice cream spot in Cheshire! They recently moved from their location on Route 10 to a building on West Main St. (part of the Ball & Socket Arts building) and I visited them at their new location recently. While the inside looks different, they still have the same great homemade ice cream!I ordered the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup in a waffle cone and it was excellent. The staff were friendly and the service was quick. The new location seems to have more parking than the old one, and more benches to sit.Make sure you add Sweet Claude's to the list for your CT ice cream tour this summer!“
