“this was a nice find during a work trip to Madison! it was so nice to see multiple vegan options in their freezer section - i eat mainly plant based so i was overwhelmed in the best way. everything in the freezer is clearly marked... WITH INGREDIENTS LISTED on the label. i got the vegan meatloaf and curly fries. the prices were pretty good, too, even in this inflationi want to go backVegetarian options: vegan options in the freezer! ingredients are listed on each entrée, which was nice and you don't see thatDietary restrictions: they have gluten-free and i believe keto (or was it paleo?) options available“

“Overall good experience.Appetizer was crispy duck wings which were delicious and perfectly cooked. For the mains I got the poke and my girlfriend, the veggie burger w/ truffle w/ fries. The poke included fresh tuna and the rice was cooked perfectly, however in my opinion the sauce was too tomatoey flavored and overpowered the rest of the dish. The veggie burger tasted good but would benefit from the patty being a little crispier.Had the warm chocolate chip cookie w/ ice cream for desert which was lovely.Overall good experience and would go back. Means of comments above is suggestions to enhance what the restaurant has to offer.“

“This place is such a hidden gem. Delicious food and good gluten free options. Honestly one of the best burgers in Guilford! Sitting outside in when it is nice out is peaceful and relaxing and the outdoor furniture is pleasantly comfortable!“

“Truly one of the best meals I’ve had in Connecticut! The French onion soup was AMAZING—the combo of caramelized onions + crispy onions was ? plus the gruyère!The duck was melt in your mouth tender with an incredible pepper crust, seared to perfection. The crispy polenta cake was also done really well. The swiss chard + pancetta added a nice, zingy contrast. For dessert, I had the turtle cake which was fluffy & moist with caramel + candied pecans.Big kudos to the chef & kitchen staff! My server was also very kind & knowledgeable. The manager graciously sat me at a lovely table even though I was a solo diner.I left my phone at the hotel, otherwise I’d share pics!“

“Nestled across the street from a venerable shoreline favorite, the Turtle Cafe is another absolute gem. Chef Ricky and Mariah, who was at the counter, were extremely welcoming and make for great conversation. The menu is vast and all of the food was amazing. I had eggs Benny with a side of hash, I highly recommend this place.“
“Wow. Delicious. Cute little diner off the side of the road, with the nicest people around. The breakfast sandwiches were fantastic. And the iced coffee has frozen coffee cubes! No watered down coffee for the drive. Definitely worth a visit!“

“This is like a sports bar but it was crowded but they were able to seat us. Nice atmosphere. Great service and great food. INhad the make your own burger and it was big and delish! My friend had the buffalo wings and she loved them. We had a gin and tonic and it was 10 dollars but it was big and delish! I definitely would recommend this place to stop and eat!“

“First meal here with my husband for his birthday. The entire evening was relaxed and very delicious! We cleaned our plates and polished off a few very creative (beet!) cocktails, but the nicest part was the card for my husband that was waiting on the table when we arrived, wishing him a hand written happy birthday singed by the staff. That extra special touch was just so thoughtful. We will for sure be back- with friends!!“

“Dined here with a party of 15. Private room upstairs was the perfect size. Wait staff was extremely accommodating and helpful in planning and executing a surprise for my father's 70th birthday. Only down side was that our waitresses seemed overwhelmed and forgot to bring out salads. Otherwise, it was a fantastic experience and great food!“

“First time visit, great views of boats and river activity. Nice wine selections. Clam chowder was outstanding, not thick but more RI type with jalapeño slight bite, lots of clams, potato flavor. Mussels (white) with great well cooked fries great broth, would have liked more bread to dip in sauce. Quinoa salad was just ok. Fried calamari with cherry peppers was well done, firm not rubbery or too chewy. Will definitely return!“

“Overall, it was a great experience and atmosphere. The location was amazing as well. The service was great. It was a blue grass weekend, and they had a live blue grass band and a special menu. Tried their pork ribs and crawfish. Pork ribs we great, but unfortunately, crawfish was served raw. We also tried their fried chicken and poppy seed salmon. Both were delicious. Drinks were well made. Will definitely be willing to give them another try.“

“Local sports bar serving standard pub fair: really good wings, sandwiches, and dinner options. The bar area is separate from the dining area. Very family-friendly with a good kids' menu. Even when busy service is fast and food comes out of the kitchen pretty quickly. Very affordable: a family of 4 can eat dinner for about $100 including tip and a few drinks.Kid-friendliness: Good kids menu with several options. We were offered activities to keep the kids entertained like coloring and small games.“

“A friend chose this location for her birthday dinner. Nice, varied menu. Everything the 4 of us ordered was very good. My spaghetti d'angelo was a generous portion that was not only aesthetically pleasing, but tasty as well. If you are in the area, give it a try.“

“South Lane Bistro has been our favorite Shoreline restaurant since it opened! We feel like family the minute we step in the door. We are immediately greeted by their friendly staff, and two of the owners, Ariel and Walter, always make a point to come over to our table, no matter how busy they are! The coastal barn atmosphere is an integral a part of the warm, relaxed vibe this restaurant offers! South Lane is a mandatory visit when our adult children come into town because it's everybody's favorite! We love their burgers (with a Thimble Island beer!), but we're also partial to their seafood specials and Super Kale Salad. One of our children has celiac, and the staff and kitchen work together to provide many gluten free options- which we also greatly appreciate.~Awesome owners, wonderful staff and delicious food!! It’s a local gem!Done“

“Visited here over a year ago and cannot stop thinking about the best ever Lobster Roll..... planing a trip to the region and trying to figure out how to sneak in a two hour side trip!Update: Still the best. Traveled the northeast coast and tried several other places and decided to change departure plans so we could have it again. We bragged so much that a couple of friends from New Jersey made the drive to meet us.“

“Food was delicious however, way too expensive imo.$2 per wing and no deal when you get a double order.$15 for 3 small arincini balls. Also, make sure to review the bill. They miss charged us and had to fix it when I brought it to their attention.“
