“We had the most wonderful experience at Saltwater Grille on Saturday night! After accidentally liking the Facebook page for this restaurant rather than a similarly named one in my town, I’ve spent the last few months looking at the posts and thinking I have to visit this place. The opportunity came to bring someone special there for his birthday and it was just amazing. Having eaten probably thousands of meals in restaurants I can tell you that I met the best server ever - Suzy. She was attentive without being intrusive, personable without being over the top and she has an amazing sense of humor. The food was outstanding as well which rounded out a perfect evening! We’re already planning another visit up when it’s warmer and we can enjoy the patio and live music!!“
“We were planning on eating at the Market Place Tavern but we made a detour when we saw the bakery sign. We took a peek in to check their hours and then went up to the next level to have lunch. We bought some treats and an americano and a cappuccino and went on our merry way. The almond cookie was the best of the bunch and was outstanding. The fresh filled cannoli was also great and the raspberry hand pie was delicious. We didn't try the bread but I'll save that for next time.“
“First time here, thought the atmosphere was great and so was the food. We had the potstickers and jalapeño popper egg rolls for apps. I had buffalo cauliflower tacos and my husband had blacken chicken pasta. Everything was awesome. Others in our party enjoyed their food also. Our waiter was great! Will be going back.“
“A friend and I decided to try the Mockingbird on a Tuesday Evening . We had to wait for a seat at the bar. But when our appetizers arrived it was worth the wait . The pork dumplings were handmade and bursting with flavor, the sweet and sour Sauce was perfect, and the Heirloom tomato Burrata couldn’t have been fresher and sweeter , the creamy Burrata, and fresh herbs put it over the top. Our Tacos were delicious , the tacos Al Pastor was tender and flavorful, and the Baja fish tacos had a tasty Beer battered Cod. , the Chef/Owner and the Bartender could have used a Waitress.“
“This is definitely worth the trip! We are from Delaware and heard about the wine here. It did NOT disappoint! Mary was an exceptional guide for us during our tasting and we ended up buying more bottles than we planned! We will definitely be back!“
“By far the best coffee in Torrington! They make it just the way you ask, with a color chart for the amount of cream too. The mocha coffee is amazing. Prices are competitive and the ladies there are so friendly with quick service. I'll skip Starbucks any day for this local coffee place.“
“Super cute place! Plenty of outside and inside space, the property is gorgeous. Lots of drink and food options! We got two flights and were happy to hear that you can choose ANY six of their offerings including the ports, slushies, and wine seltzers.“
“Highly recommend! So sticking cute! It is very clean inside. The chairs are exquisite in design. The wood work throughout the entire restaurant is charming. They serve a lot of baked goods. The million dollar shortbread cookie was very good. I also tried the fall harvest wrap which had chickpeas, cranberries and some other veggies. The dish is on the sweeter side even though it is a savory item. The Premium Blender Drinks seem to be something they are known for. They are well made, I tried the lemon and coconut flavor. They incorporate Greek yogurt which is awesome. That being said, they are on the sweeter side as well. If I am ever in the area, I'd come again as they elevate healthy and good ingredients.“
“Incredible food, great service, and did I mention absolutely incredible food? They have so many vegan and vegetarian options which I really appreciate. The vegetarian breakfast burrito is amazing. The soups are great and everything on the cold salad bar is fantastic as well. Great for to go or dine-in, I recommend eating outside there's so much more space and it's very nice they have plenty of chairs and tables.“
