“This is such a great restaurant. Love the atmosphere here and the beauty of the place itself. The food is great. The happy hour food menu however is minimal and seriously lacking options. Also, the service at the bar is often very slow unfortunately.”

“Chef Mark has been putting good food for a very long long time every where that he has gone an he now put out the absolutely Best blackened Salmon I have ever had an I have been in the food industry since I was 17 years old,AN CHEF MARK IS THE BEST.”

“We had my husband's 90th birthday party on September 14th with 21 people in attendance. The food was great and as usual up to par, service was great and the day was beautiful. We got to see the shotgun tournament that began at 1:00 where all the carts went out to their respective holes. Impressive sight. My only only complaint was we were told another event for 40 people was to begin at 1:00 pm and we could not have the space used for that number of people. On the day of my event, there was no other party and we were not offered the space. Therefore, my family was spaced out and not able to socialize with one another. Small complaint I know but it did make a big difference.”

“First time trying this place.Went there craving beef tips in marsala sauce, but they didn't have tips (not their fault, they were just opening for the day and the meat shipment was running late), so we substituted with a regular steak with the same sauce.The interior is small but more beautiful than I expected with a nice atmosphere.My server was a lovely woman, the table bread was excellent, my steak was a bit thin, but cooked perfectly and the sauce more than made up for it (soooooo good), and for the price I was pleased.I'll definitely be going back in the future.”

“It’s a cheap local dive lives up to what you would need from a watering hole. Inexpensive drinks, not pretentious, mainly plastic cups, good people. First time, walked in and had a small chat with a patron before the night was done. Plus, unlike some other aptly named Irish pubs, they do have Guinness *cough obrians*. Decent draft list too for a small local. Didn’t play, but seems like a good setup for darts too. I might not take a date or the wife for low key dinner and drinks, but after work or a friend for a cheap blow off steam evening? Absolutely.”

“We have been going for many years and even after a new owner to took over . The services have been always great . My one recommendation and it’s my favorite and had about it many years ago is to carry coconut flavored .. but other then that it’s continues to be a very busy hot spot and a nice hang out in the back . “I don't go to very many restaurants except for Kimberly's and occasionally another one or two. I'm a regular customer. The food is excellent (The quesadillas are superb!), the help is pleasant, and atmosphere is nice. Kimberly's menu is so large that anyone should be pleased.”

“This place is okay.
We are from the south and we have yet to find a good Mexican style restaurant here in ct.
The tacos are a 7/10 the tortillas are store bought. The tacos are double tortillas so
It fills you up faster. The meat is fresh. Steak, fajita, Pastor, Tripa, even the fish is grilled here. My husband likes their fish tacos, menudo and the tripa tacos are one of his favorites.
The pinto beans are fresh.
The Rice is not good at all. It tastes like plastic without seasoning. . That’s why the the 4 stars.
When we go as a family we just go for the tacos.
And their menudo. The staff speaks both English and Spanish. They welcome all but the kids need to be seated at all times. The food coming out is HOT.”

“I ordered food from Ted's and I really liked the steamed hamburgers. I also ordered some onion rings, and an Oreo shake. The shake was really good It is the best hamburger I have eaten. It is because it is minus the grease. I would recommend this place so I give it 5 stars.”

“I've been coming to AJ's for over 20 years. literally every time I have friends from out of town visit me and want to have a drink and some good bar food we go to AJ's. every single one of my out-of-town friends always says this is the best bar food they've ever had in their life. I literally have friends who call me up to come to Meriden just to have food from AJ's. my kids are addicted to the food at AJ's as well . I can honestly say if I ever move out of Connecticut, AJ's is one of the very few restaurants that I would ever truly miss and want to stop by if I come back to Connecticut for a visit. Thanks for hanging in and being so committed to our city. with the type of food and friendliness that AJ's gives they could have been successful any place in Connecticut.”

“Our family has been to many different pizza places but for some reason uptowns pizza is one of the best pizza pies around especially if you add mushrooms.Not only is the pizza amazing but we get the honey bbq wings with the bone and ranch dressing instead of blue cheese and it blows your mind it is so good the chicken is tender and the skins not grisly it is cooked perfectly. The restaurant is geared more towards carry out, but the service was excellent and they made room for our group.We had a variety of dishes including drunken noodles, shrimp pho, Thai chicken with cashews, edamame, fresh spring rolls and fried spring rolls. Everybody enjoyed the food. Everything I tried was excellent. But the massaman curry was the best by far. It had a deep, rich flavor and just the right amount of heat. It’s one of the best curries that I’ve ever had.”
