“This is such a great restaurant. Love the atmosphere here and the beauty of the place itself. The food is great. The happy hour food menu however is minimal and seriously lacking options. Also, the service at the bar is often very slow unfortunately.”

“Chef Mark has been putting good food for a very long long time every where that he has gone an he now put out the absolutely Best blackened Salmon I have ever had an I have been in the food industry since I was 17 years old,AN CHEF MARK IS THE BEST.”

“We had my husband's 90th birthday party on September 14th with 21 people in attendance. The food was great and as usual up to par, service was great and the day was beautiful. We got to see the shotgun tournament that began at 1:00 where all the carts went out to their respective holes. Impressive sight. My only only complaint was we were told another event for 40 people was to begin at 1:00 pm and we could not have the space used for that number of people. On the day of my event, there was no other party and we were not offered the space. Therefore, my family was spaced out and not able to socialize with one another. Small complaint I know but it did make a big difference.”

“First time trying this place.Went there craving beef tips in marsala sauce, but they didn't have tips (not their fault, they were just opening for the day and the meat shipment was running late), so we substituted with a regular steak with the same sauce.The interior is small but more beautiful than I expected with a nice atmosphere.My server was a lovely woman, the table bread was excellent, my steak was a bit thin, but cooked perfectly and the sauce more than made up for it (soooooo good), and for the price I was pleased.I'll definitely be going back in the future.”

“It’s a cheap local dive lives up to what you would need from a watering hole. Inexpensive drinks, not pretentious, mainly plastic cups, good people. First time, walked in and had a small chat with a patron before the night was done. Plus, unlike some other aptly named Irish pubs, they do have Guinness *cough obrians*. Decent draft list too for a small local. Didn’t play, but seems like a good setup for darts too. I might not take a date or the wife for low key dinner and drinks, but after work or a friend for a cheap blow off steam evening? Absolutely.”

We had :Bacon cheeseburger with fries &crispy chicken sandwich with tater tots Should of ate b4 shopping to walk off our meal. “In my opinion, Thai Tanic has some of the best Thai food in CT. This establishment has a warm and family-run atmosphere, with kind staff. Their pumpkin curry is one of my favorite dishes and their tofu texture is a 10/10 (which I have had trouble finding at any other restaurants)! I highly recommend stopping by, you won't regret it! :)”

When I first came up here, it was impossible to find a place that even knew what I meant by a cheesesteak or, God forbid, a friggen hoagie. (Delassandro’s is the truth) Couldn’t have been more excited when my husband said he’d seen a cheesesteak store. We have been trying for soooo long to cop a dang samich but y’all close too early for our work schedules lol. THEN TODAY, it worked out and he picked up the cheesesteaks. Honest review: Cheese sauce is LIFE. Perfectly chopped steak mixed together with the toppings on the flat top, no doubt. My man got it with the works or everything style, and there is something spicy in this jawn! I thought it was jalapeño or maybe chili peppers but he doesn’t think that was listed when he ordered it tonight. Quite spicy, but still really enjoyed it. 10/10 if you like a lil spice (8/10 if you can’t handle spice — still fire but just opt for only mushrooms and onions lol) We will be going back. “I've been coming to AJ's for over 20 years. literally every time I have friends from out of town visit me and want to have a drink and some good bar food we go to AJ's. every single one of my out-of-town friends always says this is the best bar food they've ever had in their life. I literally have friends who call me up to come to Meriden just to have food from AJ's. my kids are addicted to the food at AJ's as well . I can honestly say if I ever move out of Connecticut, AJ's is one of the very few restaurants that I would ever truly miss and want to stop by if I come back to Connecticut for a visit. Thanks for hanging in and being so committed to our city. with the type of food and friendliness that AJ's gives they could have been successful any place in Connecticut.”

They make really good sandwiches on sub rolls? with a free can of soda with it for like $7, and that's with basically whatever you want on it. You want turkey, ?, , ?, ?️, ?, mayo, mustard, and pepper, and whatever else you want on it like extra cheese or extra whatever too I'm pretty sure it stays $7 because me and my bf get extra stuff all the time and we don't get charged more.”

“Our family has been to many different pizza places but for some reason uptowns pizza is one of the best pizza pies around especially if you add mushrooms.Not only is the pizza amazing but we get the honey bbq wings with the bone and ranch dressing instead of blue cheese and it blows your mind it is so good the chicken is tender and the skins not grisly it is cooked perfectly.
