“This is my daughter's favorite restaurant! We often visit other Wood-n-Tap restaurants but we have the best experience at Newington's. The staff is super friendly and attentive. For starters I always go to the Point Judith Calamari; it never disappoints.Their seasonal dishes are always of great taste and value while their drinks are always on point. I love the Dragon fruit Sangria and the Bourbons.Parking: Close to other worth visiting stores.“

“Family style bar and restaurant. I've had a thick juicy cheeseburger and the fish and chips. Both dishes were nice large portions of flavorful and fresh tasting and well seasoned food. The place is friendly and well appointed. Prices are reasonable and service is great. The patrons are having fun socializing with each other. There are even families, but no young children. They are a mix of young and old. People are dressed in casual work clothes.“
“I was at Kbarr 2 Friday's ago June 16th to be exact I had a great time. I just missed the happy hour ?? lol but still had a great time food was amazing Maddie the bartender was great made the best rum punch I've ever had it was better than the rum punch I was drinking in Jamaica...the food was great as well as the atmosphere I definitely can't wait to go back to see my Girl Maddie she's my new favorite bartender. “Typical bar, give me Winchester vibes.Went here for a quick drink and some food while my son was across the street for a movie night.Food was delicious, extra cheese and all of it wonderful. We grabbed an order of nachos and the sampler platter and mozzarella sticks were extra cheesy. Prices were awesome, would definitely check it out again.“
“Came solo looking for a place I could relax and have a beer with locals. Yea this was it! They had musician Steve McGrath playing he was amazing. I got their signature Winchester burger and it was perfect. Chilled here for a couple hours a couple beers and it just feels like home.“

“So for anyone who doesn't know the Hive Bar has a beautiful Hall. They could accommodate weddings, parties and small events. Has a fireplace and a stage. We loved it for our daughters first birthday. The owners were wonderful to work with. Everything was set up the way we were told. Brian was very professional and catered to all our needs. Would definitely recommend for your next event!!!!! ?“
“Excellent place to go to. Great views of the first hole while having a meal makes it all worthwhile. Really good food (especially the burgers and fries) and friendly staff all around. Looking forward to future visits and some of that very good sweet tea again. ?“
“The owners are good friends so we dropped by to say hello, share a few stories and enjoy a beer. They invited us to partake of the buffet that was winding down. The food was excellent. We only stayed a short while because we were distracting them from their duties. They were setting up for karaoke when we left.“

“We've been here a few times for both dinner on the deck and special occasion events. The food is typically decent. I've enjoyed their pizza. They're meatball sub is delicious (and I'm Italian and am typically really picky when it comes to meatballs). The back deck is so delightful- especially on a cool evening sitting around one of the fire tables. I have 2 young kids so being able to dine outside is always nice. We dined there last week and had a less than stellar experience. It was a Thursday evening. The kids and I met some family after they played golf. It was much busier than I would have expected. Waitress comes over in a huff - clearly overwhelmed. She wasn't that friendly and was rushing, She took 8 orders - drinks and meals - without writing anything down. My cousin and I chuckled about it when she walked away. We were both saying it'd be a miracle if she got it right. Well she didn't. And the worst part is that we waited about 30 mins for our meals - and the two she messed up out of the 8 were my 4 and 9 year olds. So then we waited another 15 mins for 2 pizzas. It was just annoying. Write it down next time. Well obviously be back but definitely not if something like this happens again.“

Regular and handicap.Kid-friendliness: Had a well rounded child menuWheelchair accessibility: I was able to use the rear entrance opened by staff that was right near the handicap parking. Which was awesome since my dining companion was elderly and handicapped. The bar area though does have a small flight of stairs up. It does have a hand rail if your ambulatory. There are tables on the first floor available if wheel chair use is required. You are by the pool table, awesome basketball score shooter and other games.“
“The food is excellent. The owner really puts love into her handmade dishes. Fresh ingredients make this spot a hidden gem. Try the shrimp rolls and the fried rice. Banging!!! Especially in a late night where all the restaurants are closed she is still cooking. ❤️ They have a juke box that has a good selection of pretty much anything. You can hear anything from Mobb Deep to the Eagles at this bar. Nice space to host a catered gathering as well as a small outdoor patio to enjoy the evening. Super cute spot. “Nice baseball themed dive bar. Friendly staff, good drinks, and a dog that often hangs around! Tons of baseball memorabilia and pictures. They have parking in the back, and they have a pool table. There is no food here, but they have popcorn sometimes and there's a few types of chips you can buy. Many regulars but they welcome everyone from what I've seen the couple of times I've been. Great place to grab a drink.“
“Love this place , been coming here over 10 years and I have never had a bad meal. The staff always make you feel welcome and really go the extra mile. My favorite is the steak in the hot stone that you cook yourself. I come here 3-4 times every month and bring my kids also who love it here. “TJs is a sports bar with great food and immaculately clean. The burger ? tastes like steak! I have had three of them and they are the "best burger" I personally have had in Connecticut. It's small in a cozy, way and the 8 TVs are set up so you can see NFL or Basketball anywhere you sit. It's really perfect for 3 friends & you to play pool and eat, or a casual "date night" because there are booths you can snuggle up in. I usually just go to the bar side; but the restaurant side has 8 small booths so you can take mom or a friend to a tasty lunch. The menu is quite large but I personally stick to burgers.“
