“This is definitely a newer cafe for when I pulled up, it had that nice and fresh look and feel; even when I stepped inside. Folks were already tearing into their food and I was seated promptly. I was here for their Chili!! Grabbed mine with onions and cheese, a blend of hearty flavors and comforting warmth if you ask me. That first spoonful had the rich aroma of simmering spices dancing around my senses, inviting me to indulge in its savory depths. The chili itself boasts a robust base, with tender chunks of beef enveloped in a harmonious blend of tomatoes, beans and aromatic spices. Each bite had subtle hints of cumin, paprika and chili powder adding layers of complexity to this dish. The addition of onions lends a savory note, perfectly complementing the bold flavors of the chili. The texture adds a delightful contrast to this stew, allowing the sweetness to balance out the heat from the spice. The cheese that I had mixed in, each gooey spoonful melds with the rich broth, creating a velvety blanket of indulgence that coats the tongue in creamy goodness. Even my side snacks of the bacon, egg and cheese along with my kielbasa came through to only complement my Chili, providing their own great flavors to the point, I even dipped my kielbasa into the Chili and took the flavors alone on an emotional rollercoaster ride for me. IT WAS ALL AMAZING!!!“

“We were looking for a new unique breakfast place during the week and found zinneken's. The music was very loud when walking in- perhaps to cover up the sounds of nearby construction noise. We were surprised that only bottled water was available instead of tap, but not a dealbreaker. The savory poached egg waffle was very nicely served and tasty. We didn't find the seating to be especially comfortable or spacious. The food was great, but overpriced as if it were a more inviting, nicer quality place.“

“Everything is delicious!!! Everything!!The wait staff is the best!Waiting in line is worth it!Remember one line only!! Don't even try to cut! Lol!Wheelchair accessibility: It would be very tight but doable!I'm sure they would help get it done if needed. Its just crowded and the hallway is narrow.“

“Jack's was recently featured on channel 3. We are big breakfast folk, so a 35 minute drive from Manchester on a sunny (cold) morning to see if the restaurant was as good as it was supposed to be was very feasible for us. In a small stip mall in Higganum, we found Jack's. Clean & inviting inside, there was a short wait which we expected (due to the publicity on TV) We looked for someone taking names (to be seated), however seeing no one, we asked one of the locals waiting and was told they just eyeball the people waiting & seat them in order of when they arrived. Within a few minutes, we were seated in a comfortable booth. All the servers were really nice. Our waitress was friendly and welcoming. Coffee poured - not bad, though not quite as strong as I like it. I had 2 slices of cinnamon French toast served with cinnamon butter. So good!!! My husband had an omelette which he said was really good too. And prices were extremely reasonable. You could tell this was a great local place, but with the channel 3 publicity, many out of town folks were discovering Jacks's. As we told our waitress, we will be back. And she said she will be looking for us“

“I just had breakfast here with my friend. She had gluten sensitivity and I have celiacs. So we were looking for a GF place to have breakfast that we wouldn't get sick! The food was all great and homemade, and the staff were wonderful. Our waitress. Lola was so sweet, caring and attentive! We could not have asked for a better person to explain the GF food there as well! In fact all the gone are GF foods are from Dees Ohe Smart Cookie in Glastonbury, and is a completely GF business, so I felt very happy! And comfortable eating here! The food was fantastic. The atmosphere was amazing, and we had such a great time! I will definitely be going back!(:Dietary restrictions: I have Celiacs, so my friend and I went here for the GF options! So happy we did! “In the area for business, avoiding big chain coffee shops, stopped into Bob's for a coffee and guess what happened......the nice man getting my coffee says no charge. Who does that? Bob's coffee shop, THAT'S WHO. Thanks.“

“This breakfast spot in Connecticut is hands-down the best! It's family-owned, and they really know how to impress. Fresh food, friendly staff, and quick service - all at a reasonable price. Plus, the owner even swung by our table to check in on us. Definitely a 5/5 experience, this place is a true gem.“

“Loved this as The Whole Donut and love the new S’wiches version. Breakfast sandwiches are excellent. And the pastry? Anyone who thinks their donuts are like Dunkin’ is crazy! Fresh, high quality, interesting and super-tasty donuts that RULE over Dunkin’s, AND the donuts are like twice the size as Dunkin. Get there early on the weekend for an apple fritter. It will blow your tastebuds away! To top it off, the staff is professional and super-friendly. Love these guys!“

“if you like biscuits and gravy then you will LOVE it at Rise and Shine. I used to live down south and its not even close. Even in New Orleans I could not find a place that even comes close to how good Rise and Shine does the biscuits and gravy. They also have an amazing Irish Benedict. Actually everyone I have brought there has loved whatever they get. Some of the lunch/breakfast specials are very different and delicious.“
