“The food is the same great quality Bears BBQ just in a smaller take out style restaurant. There are a couple of picnic tables outside if you're looking to eat there. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for excellent BBQ in the area.“
“Ok, I been coming in for Many, Many Years and is The Best Fried Chicken That I ever had. And I Never had any inconveniences At all. Like everyone knows Perfect Chicken ? it takes time to make and cook. You just don't want to eat something that is not done right. “I visited the Hartford location although I believe there is one in the New Haven area. The variety of menu choices is wonderful and the staff is absolutely friendly and accommodating,some of the best of any restaurant I've visited. Next, the food is sooo delicious,cooked to perfection and one of my choices was "burnt ends", well they were the best I have ever eaten, so tender they practically melt in your mouth and the flavor, the seasoning is A+!!! This is the place for your best barbeque experience.My mouth is watering just remembering my visit. Not just 2thumbs up ,10 fingers up !Parking: There is some street parking but we chose to park in a parking garage.“
“There are a number of very good restaurants/eateries in Old Wethersfield. Smoked on Main is a gem specializing in BQ and BQ/fusion. It adds a more casual vibe to the area without sacrificing quality. I reviewed the menu before entering and thought I had decided on a very traditional bq meal. But when I saw the specials, my plans went out the window. I chose an order of 2 specials: Turkey empanadas and the beef habanero tacos. Both were presented well and had phenomenal flavor. I don't want to forget to mention that both dishes had a nice kick... not unbearably hot, just a wonderful kick to the taste buds. This place is a great addition to the Old Wethersfield dining scene. There's indoor seating in a very clean and modern interior. This location was the Grange Hall and obviously has gone through a major renovation. There will be outdoor seating once the warmer weather returns. I'll be back.“

“There is a 100% chance of delicious food. Never goes bad always amazing. When you can decide where to eat, pick Bears.Don't bother ordering online. You have no priority. You will stand and wait while they serve every other customer. I could have got in line and ordered my order and paid three times as I waited for them to start making my online order that was placed 45 minutes prior. A very disappointing experience.“
“The food is out of this world!!!!! The fried chicken is so moist and perfect. I got the honey mustard wrap and garlic parm fries and it was divine!!! My bf got the southern fried chicken and it was phenomenal. Even the nachos and chilli were fantastic! Cannot go wrong here. 10/10!!“
