“We often pop by the shop to pick up breakfast sandwiches on our way to the office. Recently, we asked Tommy & Marie to help us provide light food options for our art studio's Grand Opening last week. They recommended their stuffed breads (stromboli). We ordered the Italian Combo stromboli, Broccoli Rabe and cheese stromboli, potato salad, and a roasted vegetable and penne salad. The food was a hit!! “I went here for lunch for the first time . I have always wanted to go but I have never been in the area for lunch time . It's a very cute Italian deli for take out. I ordered the eggplant parmesan and added fried peppers on a hard roll. This was amazing! Most places do not make eggplant right however, the sandwich was excellent. It was thin enough and enough breading and the sauce tasted great as well. I would definitely come back just for the eggplant. I also ordered the #6 fresh mozzarella with tomato and roasted peppers, pesto, balsamic and I added pickled eggplant. This tasted great as well. I got my husband a fried breaded flounder grinder. it comes with lettuce, tomato cheese and tartar sauce. He doesn't like tartar sauce, so I had mayo on it instead. He stated that the fish was fresh and tasted good however, it didn't have much flavor. He felt that he would want flavor in the breading in order to order it again. Overall, very happy with the lunch order and definitely would go back..“

“They are the best deli in Waterbury . even all the surrounding towns. The bread is perfect. It is to hard but not so soft it gets soggy. Perfect amount of onions and tops. Meat. Well they definitely don't skimp. It flows with tons of meat and good quality. My mouth gets happy on the firsy bite thru the end Btw. Their Roast Beef is perfecto too! Not well done. Nice and juicy and pinkish. Not rare. Just right.“

“Easily the best sandwich shop in the area. Staff are always mega friendly and do custom orders without any fuss and always with enthusiasm. If you want a sandwich (Subway... come on dude! Gross...) don't you dare go anywhere else? Prices are super reasonable too.My go to: chicken cutlet wrap with Swiss, pepperoni, jalapenos, onion (raw, though sauteed is always available), lettuce, mayo and their homemade chipotle sauce. “I stopped in with my fiancé today. He got a sandwich and I ordered the fresh fruit salad and mozzarella tomato salad. I went to my car and opened both containers and the fresh fruit salad had gone bad. I took it in and the team was absolutely excellent at exchanging it. They smelled the salad and agreed with me something unfortunately went bad in the salad. They exchanged it out for something different and I went about my day. 10/10 recommend. They have awesome customer service and they were super apologetic!“
