“From the moment we arrived, to celebrate our 40th Anniversary, the staff couldn't have been more gracious and friendly. Our celebration began with a congratulatory glass of prosecco, compliments from the manager. Our dishes, appetizer to dessert, were delicious and cooked to perfection. Kudos to the staff at Flinders Lane for making our visit so memorable. We look forward to our next visit!“
“Oh my goodness...we cannot WAIT to go back! First off, the service is fantastic from the hostess to our server to our clearer so friendly, always smiling and made our meal even better. We opted out of an appitizer to save room for dessert (so glad we did). We had a combo plate with a crunchy taco and cheese enchilada...both great and a beef burrito! HUGE and flavorful! We ended the meal with churros and they were worth every calorie! Served hot and with three dipping sauces. We can't wait to go back and try some different dishes. So glad we tried this place over the weekend! Go, go, GO!“
“Overall an amazing experience!! From the warm welcome we received when we walked in, to the delicious food, to the amazing hand crafted cocktails, we had an amazing date night. The staff at The Ridges treats each table like family, and provides a 5-star dining experience. We will absolutely be back soon and can't recommend this amazing restaurant enough. The best in town!“
“Loved my experience here. Always make sure to reserve because wait times can easily reach 1 hour if you walk in. BUT the bar is first come first serve, so if it's just you and a friend it's the quickest.I had the tortelloni from there and I regret only getting a half order because the sauce was the best thing I ever put in my mouth! I also shared some of my friends bruchetta and clam pizza. The best of the best in the area no contest!Vibes are nice but especially when it's busy it gets pretty loud.Would come back.“
“The Peruvian popcorn bar snack made me hunt it down ? and make it at home. This place is a hidden gem due to locals regarding the attached hotel as shady spot. Don't let that diture you stop by play pool and enjoy the delicious food and if you need 4 hours you can do that too..“
“I've been to The Americano, a new trendy eatery in downtown Stamford twice and thought it time to give this restaurant a review. Simply put, it's exceptional and thankfully, a big hit. The word of mouth has really helped since I frequently hear people talking about it. Our party of three dined on a Saturday night. Our server, I wish I knew his name, was polite, helpful, and efficient. When he brought the wrong drink (things happen) he quickly fixed the issue and was gracious throughout. We enjoyed the Burrata and Truffle Arancini as starters, and the Hangar Steak, Salmon, and Scallops with a side of truffle fries and a side of spinach. For dessert, the caramel bread pudding. For drinks, the raspberry thyme, margarita, and gimlet. Each and every item was exceptional! As a courtesy, the kind manager gave us free drink vouchers for a nightcap at the bar. The Americano is run incredibly well with a caring, knowledgeable staff and a cool hip ambiance with black, white, and red atmosphere. It's always crowded which is proof that the restaurant is being appreciated as one of the new Stamford hits of 2023 and beyond.“
“This was our first visit to Farmhouse at the Crossroads. We ate outside on their lovely patio. The food was superb, the service attentive and the overall experience was wonderful. One of our favorites of the evening was the carpresse salad with fresh burrata and delicious cucumber sorbet, although everything we ate was amazing!“
“First time coming here love the ambiance and the service was excellent from start to finish our waiter was amazing she was great wish I would remember her name but she was great . Now the food that food was delicious and it came out fast and hot wish was a plus the guacamole was one of best I had“
“Enjoyable weekend lunch spot. Tasty burgers and fries. Lots of allergy options (my dairy-free guest enjoyed her shake for dessert). Friendly service. Was a little cold in booth by the door (was a very cold day out, but it was the only available booth?)Dietary restrictions: Gluten free preparation possible. Seems very allergy-aware and trained. Said French fry fryers are GF-safe.“
“I chose to come here because I was seeing a concert at the nearby park. I chose to come during happy hour, where many $12 food items were $9, and most drinks were $2 off. Now, the thing with the latter is that the drinks were $12 and up, so even with the discount, these were still not "cheap" BUT the quality of all the cocktails was above par. It's basically that the $14 cocktail is a $14 cocktail, not a $8 cocktail with inflation. Between my date and I we had 5 cocktails and all were impressive works of mixology, mostly a lot more complex and less sweet that most bars would serve. This is where someone can savor an adult beverage, not for those who like "margarita mix." The nachos were unlike any I had seen- a lot more of a dish than just a pile of ingredients on a plate. Absolutely delicious and innovative, the bean puree was outstanding and they provided more than enough chips. I'm about to go back into vegetarianism, and the organic chicken tacos were sort of a last hurrah, and possibly some of the best chicken tacos I've ever had. I literally sat quiet and savored the first few bites. I still prefer back-of-the-bodega/ food truck style Mexican food, but Tequila Escape was by far the best upscale Mexican food and drinking I have experienced in New England.“
“Beautiful views. Surprisingly good food. Terrible service and it took a long time for someone to show up at our table to take the order, and again a kind wait to actually get the food. And yes, overpriced, you are paying for the views.Update: today the food was surprisingly good. Avoid street corn. Decent service.“
“One of the best experiences I had in a while, coming back to Connecticut after 6 years. Very friendly staff people were incredible. Staff stayed late even after they were closed. We were treated very well. We’re welcome to very well. Food was amazing.“
