“My wife and I ordered take-out from Tacombi. We had been to one in Jersey city a long time ago and recalled it was quite delicious. So we were eager to try it when it came to Westport. To our delight the food was delicious. I had a Birria Taco Plato, I thought it was flavorful the beef did not disappoint maybe wish there was more. I like how they package it for take-out. My wife had the fish taco and shrimp taco. I tried shrimp taco, it had a very bold flavor that catchs the back sides of the tounge (highly recommend). We also ordered corn esquites, best way to eat corn. Their Totopos (tortilla chips) are addicting nice crunch goes well with guacamole. We also chicken quesidilla, which was also pleasant maybe could have used more cheese. I look forward to dining in as the weather gets better.“

The daily oysters were fantastic, and we enjoyed the other items we ordered very much: fish tacos, vegetable salad, miso salmon, and a dry rose wine. Subtracting a star because we were forgotten for a while after being seated (more than 15 minutes) and then the bartender opened the door to take out the mats and garbage and left it open for a long time when it was below freezing outside. We froze and that ruined the romantic vibe.“

“We had a delicious date night dinner out at The Spread. We sat in the covered, heated outdoor dining space and the lighting and fireplace made it very cozy and enjoyable. The food was delicious - we ordered smaller plates to share. The service was very attentive, almost to a fault. The bus staff was very on top of filling our waters the second we took a sip and taking plates the moment the last bite was taken. There were many staff members in the outdoor space that we felt that we were being watched as we ate, and they were ready to pounce and clear the table as soon as we finished something. We did feel rushed, which was the only downfall of the meal.“

Sandwiches are made with fresh ingredients - freshly baked bread, crisp lettuce and flavorful proteins. Kids meals options are great to accommodate picky eaters to more healthy minded families. Service is friendly and professional. We had a lovely conversation with our server, a young Egyptian-American who made us feel comfortable and made our lunch an enjoyable experience. After dining at Pinstripes and Yardhouse with mixed experiences, I can firmly say that Bazille is the best lunch option in terms of quality, value and service.“

“This may be one of Norwalk's most underrated restaurants. Aji 10 is a Peruvian and Japanese fusion. If that doesn't excite you, then I don't know what will. The food here is spectacular. The chicharron is juicy and crispy, just the way I like it and they pair it with tostones and a salsa which adds a complimentary freshness to the deep fried, delicious pork. I ordered sushi (Rainbow Roll Acevichado) for my entree which came three different fish and a roll with plantains. The plantain sushi was my favorite out of all of them--I could probably eat 50 of them.“

The sushi was amazing. I would go there again any time if it wasn't so far. I recommend coming to this place if your in the area. I also recommend if you like a light and tasty sushi.. get the green fuji rolll.. taste like a salad. We also got the hurricane roll, Philadelphia roll, and the spicy tuna... all of it was delicious“

Cocktails were very good, consistent and potent, our server Jesus was on top of everything, very attentive and nice, they had an awesome DJ playing Latin music, the crowd was enjoying the music, dancing and drinking. The space is somewhat small, and you have to take the elevator down to the bathrooms. Get there early if you want to grab a table. I definitely would recommend it.“

“Living in Fairfield, we have a handful of regular places we either go out to eat or get take out from, and Malibu is right there on top of the list. We've been eating here for years, and I am constantly impressed with quality and flavors of the food. The few times we came here to eat, whether its with 6 people or 2 people, we always had exceptional service. The restaurant is also very cool inside, and on a nice warm day, has plenty of outdoor seating.One of my favorites is the Marinated Ahi Tuna rice bowl (ponzu marinated chopped tuna, guac, scallions, sesame oil, toasted sesame seeds, spicy cucumbers, blueberries, miso-lime vinaigrette). But honestly, everything on the menu is good. My daughter is partial to the pork belly tacos.Highly recommend either for family meal or a night out with friends (drink menu is great too!)“

For our entrees we had the filet mignon, once again super delicious. We tried the gnocchi with sausage and chicken with vodka sauce and the cajun penne pasta. The berry berry crisp and cappuccinos to top our meal off. The server was attentive. We'll keep coming back.“
