“Don't overlook this place. It's a great neighborhood bar with fantastic and fast food, a tremendous selection of beer and some of the funniest and friendliest bartenders you'll ever see. This is an old school place. They aren't going to adjust to you and your 'tude so leave that at home. Drop down to a normal level and drop in for a relaxing afternoon or evening watching sports on the TV and eating hot fresh food over a couple of cold beers. Seriously, what is there to complain about? You don't like the fact that some poor b****** isn't hanging out in the bathroom to hand you a paper towel and pray you'll throw him a buck? They don't have a raw bar or cracked crab today? Some D-Bag isn't miked up in the corner shouting slam poetry about how society owes him a mercedes? How about real people, real food, real beer and a real good time where what you see is what you get and what you get is awesome! One of the last real bars in Fairfield County. Definitely don't go by withhout stopping in and I'm sure you'll be a huge fan!“
“Had a team training event in Milford for the week! 14 people in from 4 states. Started off with the football game on Sunday. Then brought everyone for dinner Tuesday night. Richie was great. Going to make this a regular stop during our work events!“
“We originally had a reservation across the street, but it turned out that they were actually closed so we ended up at Bank Sports Bar and are we ever glad we did! We were looking for a place to stop to get beers and a bite to eat before attending a concert nearby. When we walked in there were more than 65 in the bar and the vibe was exactly what we needed. Quickly we noticed there was one bartender behind the bar - ut oh. Right? Nope. Britt was truly amazing and this place is lucky to have her. We never went without a drink; she was attentive and kind. Turns out there was one person in the kitchen, too - AJ. Our food came out delicious and hot. All of the respect to these two. We hope to be back soon!“
“The Bridge House offers a strong, upscale food menu with a focus on seafood. The apps and entrees are well presented and taste great. The lobster rolls were hands down the best item of the afternoon. Our only complaint is that we would like to see a stronger, local beer offering.“

“I’ve been going to Colony Grill in Fairfield for years, having been a Fairfield University graduate and even have been going prior to that. The pizza never disappoints, the atmosphere is great and always exciting, and the beer selections are plentiful and always nice and cold. I love coming back to Colony Grill. The usual spot to recommend out of town visitors.Parking: There is a small parking lot located around back, if that is full, you are looking at paying street meter parking.“
“I drive a considerable distance just to come visit Bobbi the bartender. She’s the best around! Funny, fast, excellent. It’s also hard to find such a welcoming fun crowd and cheap drinks anywhere else. The new owners are regularly around and you won’t have to look hard because they’ll greet you with a smile. “We were there as part of a birthday party celebration.The staff accommodated our large group to make us all comfortable. Our waitress was quick, efficient and friendly with our drink and meal requests. We all enjoyed the evening and the “birthday boy” had a blast. Thanks SBC you have always been top notch. “Are you kidding me? How is this a 4.2 rating? The inside is nothing special but I don’t eat the inside. I go for the pizza and that pizza is fabulous. Sometimes I think the crust could be a little too thin but it is a great tasting pizza.Dave Portnoy really underrated his review but I don’t think he really knows what good pizza is. Lol.“
“We're from Florida and we came down here to visit some friends. My husband and i wanted to go and grab a drink and listen to some good music and this place did not disappoint!!! The staff was so friendly and the dj was great! It felt like a 2000s night mixed with some reggae and African music and everyone dancing. Great vibes and service. “So this bar is amazing. Very good Decor. But the promotion and the bar crowd is horrible. This place should be the popping spot in BPT. But their security. Is overly excessive. This a bar. “If you're looking for a tall cold beer and a soft warm pretzel this is the place to be when in Fairfield. I try to stop in once a month mostly on Sundays for football. There's a real cast of characters here every day and they all sit in the same seat. You'll find Gene and his wife who sit right next to Louie. There's Mike the Fish and his bespectacled side-kick, Gary, who's always boasting about his Garden. These 2 guys are like Norm and Cliff Clavin. Then there's Handsome John and his buddy Tall John. There's the Steelers crew and the mechanics from BMW. There's Big Mack too and his little red corvette. All sorts of nicknames for these characters. Be sure to order the chilli cheese dog.“
“Great first time there. Drinks were good. My major problem was that everything on the menu sounded good and I had a hard time deciding. I ended up choosing the cod sandwich and I can tell you they didn't try to cheat me. It was almost intimidating how large the sandwich was. It was delicious and based on how it looked another patron walked in asked what it was and ordered the same thing. Can't wait for another visit to try something else“
