“I highly recommend Salute. We ended up at Salute after asking for a recommendation from a coworker for a family dinner. As soon as we walked in, they embraced us as family. All the wait staff was pleasant, knowledgeable and the service was quick, but not at all rushed. When the owner, Jimmy, learned we were there celebrating some big things, he truly went out of his way to make us feel special. I can’t thank him enough for all he did for us. It was our first time there, yet he took the time (on a busy night!) to learn our names, ask questions and congratulate us. The evening was complete with incredible food, gotta get yourself the cheesy garlic bread (YUM!!) and all our meals were generous portions and delicious. We all loved our drinks, too! After mentioning our experience to my brother, we learned him, his girlfriend, and her family had a similar experience. This is how they treat everyone.”

“Food was delicious. We came after a show and were seated immediately. Drinks took forever to get. We ordered one bottle of wine and it took at least 15 minutes. Waitress was okay, but frazzled. Temperature of restaurant was almost unbearable. We were all so hot. They need better air conditioning. We would have stayed longer and had more drinks but it was just too hot.”

They offer a complete gluten free menu which my wife really appreciates and source the gluten free breads from Pure Love. My wife had the Ahi Tuna salad special which was a little like a deconstructed poke bowl. If I could change one thing about the atmosphere it would be the music. “I came across Semilla cafe this past weekend after a yoga session in Hartford and I’m very glad I did. I snagged a hot Ovaltine with oat milk which was a really nice malted hot chocolate flavor, plus a lemon bar that was very good. While all that is enough to go back I also found a gem in their store side of things where they had a bacon jam. The breakfast sandwiches I have made with that every day since I bought it are amazing and I will definitely be back for more. The decor, local art, cute free library and the overall welcoming feel of the place was great to experience.”

“This was our first time trying Harvest Cafe. It was pretty good. Great cup of coffee and the staff was very friendly. Kind of on the pricey side for breakfast. My wife had a French toast that was actually a pound cake. It was okay, but way too sweet. I had the jambalaya omelette and it was amazing. When they ask what kind of toast you want, go with the sourdough… trust me. We took a loaf home with us.”

There’s a huge array of flavors that you can inject Into a solid sour beer base or a sparkling seltzer base. You will not be disappointed. And the customer service, amazing from start to finish. The food is always on point I’m obsessed with the Korean fried chicken- it’s always hot and super crispy with an amazing sauce that‘ll have you shamelessly licking your fingers. The bartender Moriah is the bees knees, she’s always crafting up spectacular cocktails. The creativity and mixology knowledge she possesses is out of this world. She’s one of the best bartenders I’ve ever met, and I gallivant all over Hartford. They always have something going on and are the heart of Pratt street.
