“What refreshing little neighborhood cafe! It's nothing fancy and exactly what you want a free morning close to home. I didn't delve into the menu but trusted a friend who goes often and I wasn't disappointed! We shared the breakfast charcuterie board featuring Pancakes, waffles, bacon, sausage, Italian smoked sausage, cheese, tater tots and fried eggs. Add a couple of Americanos and we were set for a couple hours of great food and conversation. Have it there or get something to go and you'll get your day started right.“
“I work nearby and I’m not sure why it took me so long to check this place out. First off, their coffee/lattes are fantastic, some of, if not the best I’ve had in the city. They have many flavors and their specialty lattes are all very good. The food is also fantastic. Fresh and reasonably priced. I’m not sure if they bake their bread in house but it’s very soft and delicious, it tastes freshly baked. I haven’t had any of their bakery items yet but I imagine they’re also great. I highly recommend this place for coffee/breakfast. It’s roomy with enough seats to relax and get some work done if you need a place to sit too. The staff is very friendly as well. A nice little downtown gem.“
“Aroma Joe’s has become one of my go-to places for coffee, breakfast and snacks. They have an excellent and friendly staff that gets your order ready quick. A few items that I’d recommend are the sausage biscuit sandwich, cinnamon roll, cheese and feta pretzel, their chorizo sandwich, donuts, and an americano. I will return to Joe’s soon!“
“I had to take care of some things at the post office down town. I stumbled along this place by accident. Mind you I moved here from NYC 6 years ago. I'm very spoiled growing up and eating NYC pizza most of my life. Since my years here, I have tried many pizza shops claiming to have NYC pizza. It's just a big joke! I even challenge them. Anyway, this place is legit NYC pizza in not just Waterbury but the whole New Haven county. Huge delicious pizza that don't break and crumble when you fold them. They are hand tossed and not put in to like cake backing pans. Where it comes out all soggy! The mozzarella is white and gooey and not burnt orange. They are from NYC the owners and can tell they brought up their recipes with them! It's family owned and ran. The Family is so delightful. My absolute go to! Hands down best pizza in these part of the state.“
“Delicious food! Would definitely rate as being authentic. I tried the green enchiladas and cheese flautas. Both were amazing! They use really good cheese! Will definitely visit again in the future and recommend to others!Vegetarian options: Cheese flautas“
“This was my favorite study spot in college, now I come here to read before my appointments in Waterbury. I love their specialty drinks, I usually pick a drink from their seasonal favorites when I'm here. They also have a really good chicken sandwich that I'll get if I'm here around lunch time. Staff is always so nice and quick. I feel comfortable hanging out here. The only issue was I noticed a lot of their seating has the pleather torn apart so badly you can't sit on it comfortably. The benefit of this place was their comfy chairs, so hopefully they get those replaced soon!“
“DunkinThis is my favorite Dunkin' to stop it. I go nearly every day! The employees are very nice , fast and efficient. They know my order by heart, lol. This location was recently renovated so both interior and exterior are very nice. I highly recommend stopping by for your coffee fix.“
“We go to this Dunkin' just for Nick cause he always does the job RIGHT!!! Wanted two everything bagels but was told they were out. Disappointedly ordered other bagels. Opened the bag -- AN EVERYTHING BAGEL!! God is good but Nick is better.“
“Ami's has some if the most delicious bagels in Connecticut! Every flavor, especially the Everything and egg bagels, are spot on. Their breakfast sandwiches are fabulous as they use the freshest of ingredients and pile on the bacon! The most incredible sandwich, however, is the cream cheese and lox on a bagel. I grew up in NYC and have never seen so much lox piled on! We stop by every time we pass it always buying a few more than we need to share or freeze. Ami's is our "go to" place for bagels!“
“I ordered a big order through the drive through and despite the line being long and the workers being busy, the workers were so nice and such in a good mood. They had a good crew working together. I appreciate them because usually you’d get attitude because of the circumstances but they were so positive. (08/05/22 morning crew)“
“First Dunkin I have been to where they have kiosks to order your items. It was so easy to navigate and I didn't have to interact with anyone. The server made the coffees and put them on the counter for us. There were several tables inside to sit at & since I was on a date we decided to hang out inside Dunkin for a bit. It was quiet which was nice (it was around 6:30pm-7pm on a Friday)The only negative thing I can say is that all the tables inside were dirty. It looked like there were only 2 workers and I don't recall if this had a drive-thru but I know Dunkin employees have long lists of duties they need to address while taking and making customers orders so it's possible they just didn't get the chance to address the tables during my time there.Parking: Parking right in front of entrance to Dunkin and goes the length of the Plaza it is part of.Kid-friendliness: What kid doesn't love donuts!?“
“Yesterday on 01/04 I walked in around 630am for a couple sandwich’s and oj. The place was very busy in drive thru and some people waiting for their purchases in the lobby. This woman and daughter was at the counter all upset bc she had to go to work. Another lady walked in and asked the girl in the photo below how much longer is it going to take it’s been 15 mins already. (Family member)The tone and the expletive words that came out of her mouth was very impolite. So I yelled great job staff you guys are doing the best you can. So the lady left without her food. Today 01/05 I walk in and here is the same lady with her daughter asking them for free food bc she left yesterday bc she had to go to work and continued to say I was the one that made her leave and bc the food took some time! I literally laughed and couldn’t believe this woman literally blamed a total stranger that applauded the staff as to why she left. Her and her daughter began to yell at me, curse, and threaten me. It’s all on Dunkin’ Donuts camera and I can play a video on my phone about how nasty these individuals were but it’s very embarrassing. I called corporate, filed a police report as well. Nasty people don’t need to hurt in any way people trying their best to service you!“
“I don’t know who’s running the drive thru. These are the most polite Dunkin’ Donuts employees I have EVER encountered. I’m not even kidding you! They ensure your order is correct. And I can also tell by looking at my ice coffee if it’s gonna taste good or not. This Dunkin’ does not disappoint. Go see for yourself. They definitely go the extra mile. I went back several days after and still the same great service.“
“That is the only one I will go to..the employees are like family to me even if they don't know me they r always respectful their..I feel guilty going to another one, plus never an issue with my coffee and it takes the same Everytime...u have to go ck it out..tell them I sent you “
“LOVE this place and the ladies who take care of us here. Kerry and Yelena are so sweet and they make everything fresh. My girlfriend and I come here every week because we love it so much. Specialty hot chocolates, real fruit smoothies, and a cute little atmosphere.“
