“Zaytoon Lebanese Restaurant in West Hartford with Ty. My first experience with Turkish coffee and it was superb. It's strong just like New Orleans coffee and Right up my alley. Our server was attentive, courteous, and efficient. He had a smile and a pleasant personality and was very helpful with the ordering. The food was hot and delicious. The lamb was a gift from the Greek gods. It was tender and seasoned and most flavorful with no gamey aftertaste. Everything you would want from a Mediterranean/Lebanese restaurant.”

“Menu was tough for some of our guests. The beet appetizer was good but I wish it had been served as a warm appetizer. Entrees took a long while to come out and some of our meals were cold or lukewarm. Liked that we could see the happenings on the street. Somewhat cold decor.”

“Food was good. We ordered 5 tapas to share. They come out randomly so by the time our last one came out, we were pretty much done with everything else - but the waitress did explain to us prior that that could happen. It wasn't very busy and service wasn't great. Waitress didn't check on us after our food arrived and I eventually ended up going straight to the bar to order another round of drinks. They were out of certain foods (plum salad) and when we asked for an alternative salad she just said “nothing, we're out of plums”, when she could have offered the market salad, etc. Just to give an example. There just didn't seem to be any effort in making our experience a great one. Overall, food was great. Environment and ambience was great. Service was unsatisfactory.”

“We had our wedding at The Pond House Café and it was absolutely beautiful. The ceremony and reception were everything we hoped for. Our guests loved the food, the décor, the music, and the warm, welcoming vibe. The staff went above and beyond—Charlene, Diana, and Alissa took care of us with so much care and professionalism. Everything ran smoothly and felt special. We’re so thankful for the whole team. This will definitely be our go-to spot for future celebrations! 1000000/10 experience!!”

“I would walk 500 miles... Well maybe not walk 500 miles. But I will drive 350 miles round trip. Just to have dinner at one of my favorite Restaurants in my old neighborhood. Congrats to Kenny and his culinary and service team. Dinner for my party of 4 was delicious. The 3 specials Short Rib Ravioli, Chicken & Sausage Paella, and the Baby Rack of Lamb. The 4th dinner was our longtime favorite Gnocchi Sorentino. Walked out bellies full and pallets completely satisfied. Oh yeah, don't forget the Fried Burrata. Anytime I'm in Brookfield I will visit Portobellos. Love this place.”

“I went in this morning for a pound of medium roast decaf and a quick espresso. They have an excellent interior that was nice to relax in for a few minutes before rushing off. The staff member was also super friendly. Great neighborhood too. They were carrying a limited edition run of a anaerobic process light roast from Rwanda, so I bought a bag out of curiosity. This is currently the best coffee I have ever brewed. It tastes sweet and like apples! I am really glad that they were carrying this today!”

Not only was the food OUTSTANDING, but the price SHOCKED me at how low it was. I guess the lunch menu prices is reduced. I will be doing this again, frequently. I've eaten there for dinner several times per year for years and never regretted it, but this blew me away, both the quality and price. Let's be sure to keep them in business with take-out orders!”

“This review is for the Danbury Location. I have been going there 5-6 days a week for past 5 +/- months. I had a routine. Order on the App. Coffee protein drink and either a wrap or salad. Always greeted with a smile and thank you when I walked in. The price was good for Always having consistant quality with the drink and food. Made the way I wanted it. Fresh, never wilted lettuce and ingredients. I knew what I was getting and always the same. I stopped going to other places around area because I was sick and tired of my 1/2hr lunch break eating garbage, never made the way I ordered it, or getting the wrong order in bag. Unfortunately, my job is over in the area and I don’t live anywhere near there. So I just wanted to say Thank You, we had a good run……”

“my boys & I went to SONG this past Saturday. We ate everything we ordered. The food was super tasty. The depth of flavors was absolutely delicious! We tried the pancake roll which had beef & vegetables inside. OH MY GOODNESS! I could literally eat that every day for the rest of my life! I'm totally serious. I'm not sure why they have only a 4.0, which is a good score. Honestly? SONG is deserving of at least a 4.6 but I'm giving them a 4.8. our waiter was a sweetie, polite & attentive. it wasn't crowded, actually none of the restaurants were super crowded. we were there around 630pm. so maybe it was a bit early. The atmosphere was welcoming & comfortable. This was my 2nd time there & I'll definitely be going back. 4.8! ❤️”
