“I could, and will, eat here everyday. Great Korean comfort food at a fair price. The spicy pork kimbap is my favorite and I always order extra to bring home for lunch the next day. Japchae was very soft and fresh. I can’t wait to go back to try their jajangmyeon.”
“What a great experience! We had a party of 12 for a friends birthday with hibachi and it was fantastic! Been multiple times and it’s always great. Love this place!”
“The best word is delicious for the food. The best word for the service is excellent. The best words for the experience is Loved It!!Wheelchair accessibility: Our dinner were not listed but they were delicious.”
“Chef Jiang in Farmington boasts an authentic menu that deviates from the usual Americanized Chinese fare. While I appreciate their commitment to regional Chinese cuisine, my experience fell a bit short of expectations. At first when we arrived they were mopping the floors and the cleaner smell overpowered our senses. We started with an array of dumplings, excited to dive into this cornerstone of Chinese dim sum. The vegetable fried dumplings were undeniably fresh, showcasing crisp wrappers and plump fillings. However, the flavor profile leaned too heavily on the sauce we dipped them in leaving them a bit one-dimensional. The shrimp and sticky rice shumai came across similarly, with the offering a punch of fishiness that overpowered. The highlight of our meal were the dumplings in chili sauce. Each bite burst with a satisfying heat, balanced by the richness of the filling. Again, the freshness of the dumplings shone through, but the flavor could have benefited from additional complexity. The soup dumplings mirrored the above sentiment.Ultimately, while Chef Jiang offers a refreshing departure from the familiar, the execution didn't quite match the ambition. The emphasis on freshness is commendable, but I yearned for more nuanced flavors in the fillings and sauces. We ended up stopping before delving further into the menu, as the portions were generous.Would I recommend Chef Jiang? It depends on your culinary compass. If you're an adventurous diner seeking authentic Chinese flavors, it's worth a try. However, if you crave Americanized Chinese food, you might leave wanting more”
“I visited this restaurant last night and I was NOT prepared for how phenomenal the food would be!! I highly recommend the braised short ribs, charcuterie board, and the hazelnut cheesecake. Atmosphere was cozy, service was impeccable. Will definitely be returning and recommending to all my friends and family!”
“I had Tantan noodles and tonkatsu. It was really fantastic here. Tantan noodles are very spicy, so be careful. I will definitely come back next time to eat Korean food. I believe it will be delicious then too.”
“Good food.. atmosphere is nice.. I liked the spice in the imperial couple dish.. Pineapple shrimp was also good. Was not a huge fan of the sushi rolls I got. The Rangoons were good as well as the coconut ?”
“Hot Dogs have no business be this good! This is the type of place you'll see on the food network. It starts at the window. The customer service is great, helpful and friendly. Next comes the hot dog and bun quality on its own right are perfect. Then, the toppings. I had two dogs, one basic with ketchup, yellow mustard and relish. I was asked if I wanted Yellow or Brown which I'm always thankful for questions like that. My 2nd one was their own red pepper relish and sauerkraut which was absolutely amazing!! I could eat 4 more of those!! Thank you to whomever Carol is (I think is one the ladies who takes your order)! HAPPY 7 YEARS!!”
“Was there for happy hour at the bar. I don't know the bartender's name, but the dirty martini's were spot on and spanking cold! He was very attentive to my group. My only "complaint" is that Brio is in Westfarms Mall, so you need to deal with the parking morons and the junior high schoolers who hang out there just to get into the place. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.”
“To be honest, I was really expecting more, however it was a pretty good sandwich (sorry grinder) but would I go back? No. It was to much breading, and would've liked it more crispy, found it to be soggy.”
“Unfortunately, Piccolo Arancio has become very inconsistent from one week to the next. Yes, we have been going to Piccolo Arancio weekly for years. Last week as an appetizer I had broccoli rabe that was absolutely delicious. I ordered the same this week and it was tasteless and overcooked. It is very disappointing. So, it seems to be hit or miss at Piccolo Arancio at this point as far as the food goes.”
“just the mere fact that you can see the river appeals to me.. the food was quite delicious too.. the service excellent and the atmosphere quite charming..definitely will go back againParking: if you can park along the river its a very calming view”
“Food is excellent! Love the chips and salsa. Also, I love that you can add so much to your meal. What a great place! I'm just mad I didn't find it sooner!”
“I had such a wonderful night. From the time my husband and I walked through the door, service was a 5. The host welcomed us with a beautiful smile. She read my details I listed on my reservation since I was celebrating my husband's birthday. I wanted some privacy seating area for two. The best part was my waitress, Elayshia. It felt as though she knew us, made us feel comfortable, she knew the menu inside and out. She recommended drinks that tasted amazing. She kept checking in with us, pleasant, outgoing, such a bubbly personality. She is everything you would want in a server. We cannot forget the food! Wow.. let me just say, we tried every meat, from flank steak, hot beef, sausages, garlic chicken, and the list goes on. Cold bar was delicious. I had an amazing berry salad, cold shrimp with this mixture of flavors, it was good. Garlic mash potatoes delicious, scallop potatoes delicious. Our food came with a dessert starter. It was a banana mixed with brown sugar and looked like it was pan fried- delicious. If I could recommend 2 things that would make that place even better, it would be dimming the lights just a smidge, it was kind of bright in there but that's not too much of a big deal, but the most important is the music. The music didn't fit the dining experience.*******BEWARE*******Their glass is so clean that while we were there, some one walked right into the glass thinking it was the door to exit and he left leaving his face print on the window....”
“The food was really quickly prepared fresh tasting unique choices all around a very good experience; the brisket was fantastic as was the shrimp and grits.Dietary restrictions: A very good selection of gluten-free food.”
