“Best steak I've had anywhere in CT. Took it to-go and it was still perfect when I got it home. Maple cream cheese Flan with scorched marshmallows was uniquely flavorful. Fast bar service while waiting with good local choices. Can't wait to come back with family.“
“I found this gem while driving to New York & wow I’m so happy I stopped by! Took me back to Guatemala I ordered their traditional breakfast which was so good and authentic. I wish there was one in Boston but hopefully I can come back again one day. Felt so comforting!“
“I had to come leave a review! my sister ordered here for the first time last night, she shared some of her empanadas with me and I promise you thone was the BEST empanadas I ever had in my entire lifeee! to everyone thats ordering from here for the first time I recommend to try their beef empanadas, CHEFS-KISS“
“Excellent food, even better service. I ordered catering from this location and very highly recommend them. The staff were extremely helpful, kept open communication and worked with me at the last minute to make additions. The food was excellent. We had a large group, 40ish people, with food allergies and different preferences. Every single person got seconds and raved about the delicious food. If you’ve ever catered a large group you know it’s impossible to find something for everyone. El Pollo Guapo hits the mark! Don’t skip dessert! The brownies and cookies were both delicious also.I feel like I’ve gained new friends as well. You don’t see service like this anymore! Thank you so much to Bruce, Kaitlyn and the team.“
“I had the oxtails, goat and pork shoulder and authentic PR rice. All excellent. In addition I had the Dominican soup which was so tasty and delicious. Don't order online just come in person and get your choices I find best for takeout places. The staff is awesome. “
“4.5/5Food was good but it was cold. The pernil was cold as was the fried that came with the chicharrones. They definitely could have reheated it more. Service was relatively good, they had a big party next to us and there was only one wait staff. So there was some waiting here and there but we understand. Lots of options on both the food and drinks menu (menu had pictures which is awesome). Parking was easy to find given the time we ate there.“
“I was just there this past weekend and I need to give a big shout out to our waiter Brian he was amazing! His service was on point and he was friendly! The food was delicious and the drinks too! The place was clean and the music was nice. Can’t wait to try more of the food! “
“This is our first time eating at Favela Aroma. As we walked in this afternoon for dinner, we were greeted by the nice ,friendly owner. We were happy to see the big selection of food especially the Bbq meats ! Dishes are weighed and you are charged by the weight of food on the plate. We tried the yellow rice, fried yucca, beans, chicken wings, grilled beef and pork ribs. We were pleased with our dinners. The food was delicious and very filling. There is a nice selection of desserts of cakes and flan as well as soft drinks as well . The restaurant is very clean and spacious. You should definitely come here for delicious Brazilian food and the welcoming atmosphere.“
“Great and the Waitress is a Love ❤️ You have to give her a "Salary Increase" she tries too hard, so that everything is fine and also in Esta Casita they make some ? ? Soups that taste too delicious you have to try them and ugh and what can you tell me about Mofongo with grilled chicken and salad and a size of rice ? that's on another level. THEY HAVE TO STOP TO TRY THEIR FOOD AND THEIR SHAKES WHICH ARE REALLY DELICIOUS.Parking: Parking is free and is well accessible next to the premises.Wheelchair accessibility: If it is accessible for people with disabilities in a wheelchair ?“
“We were in Hartford for the weekend, and were hungry for lunch as we were heading out of town. We looked for something interesting on yelp, and found the Mercado. We went in, and went to the last counter down the line, as they had these amazing Columbian Tamales. I had never seen such big and round tamales. They are to die for. Perfectly cooked, well spiced, and just simply delicious. Went very well with the fried plantains. Very much enjoyed.“
“I have dined here multiple times. It is always an elevated experience. Cora Cora is a good introduction to Peruvian food. Some of the dishes have adjusted flavor profiles and others are firmly rooted in their origin. A good place for newcomers to enjoy their first dive into Peruvian cooking.“
