“I am always suspicious of places that don’t focus on one cuisine but we have ordered twice now from Yuki Kitchen and have been impressed by the authenticity of the menu. We ordered Simmered Shitake mushrooms, Lucky Pink Radish, and smashed spicy cucumbers and all were amazing. We also ordered Yaya Balls which are deep fried octopus. My son had them in Japan on a visit a few weeks ago and said they tasted just as good. He was also excited to see a brand of iced tea he had in Japan. Yuki Kitchen is a tiny but mighty source for authentic Asian food. Don’t drive by it….“

Tiger Bowl is a small, intricately designed Chinese Restaurant located on the Southport-Westport border on Post Rd next to Michael's and Village Bagels.

The service is impeccable service is unmatched but the food is what takes this place to the next level. There are dozens of Asian Restaurants in the area, but the freshness, and unique combination of herbs, spices and cooking techniques makes Tiger Bowl stand out.

The fried chicken delights(IE Sesame, General Tso, Lemon, Orange, etc) are unlike your standard chinese fair. Unlike other restaurants the crispy fried chicken is crispy on the outside, but magically soft in texture on the inside. There is a certain fluff to the inside of the chicken, almost similar to a corn dog batter. The soups are perfect for a cold winter's day, and the beef dishes shine as well. My only critique is with the bonelesss ribs and spare ribs. Thought cooked nicely the sauce is a bit heavy and way too sweet.

In an area oversaturated with restaurants this is THE Go-To for delicious Chinese food for the whole family. They currently do not allow guests to dine in(thanks Covid) but are available for takeout and delivery 7 days a week.“

“The food is wonderful , the atmosphere is great and cozy ! BUT the service sucks! We were there 10 minutes and I had to go to the bar just to get a couple of glasses of water . Otherwise once they saw that we finally got service and the rest of the meal was good. And no it wasn’t packed only 3 other tables with people when we were there .“

The ingredients are always fresh and the taste never disappoints our foodie palettes & high-standards. A big bonus for our family is that the menu offers plenty of Gluten Free options and the kitchen takes food allergies seriously and attentively. The atmosphere is cozy, relaxing and inviting. “Excellent food! I picked up hot and sour soup, an egg roll and shrimp and broccoli today. The soup was excellent with a spicy kick. The egg roll was so crispy but not greasy. The jumbo shrimp were cooked perfectly, and the sauce was just right. The best I’ve had in a long time!“

If you ask for extra fortune cookies they don’t even charge you which is nice because I will save them for my daughter as a snack because they are healthy instead of regular cookies. The steamed vegetable dumplings I really didn't like that much..... they were pretty doughie..... But the chicken fried rice with vegetables is very good and for $10 you get a whole large order for takeout....... I definitely would recommend....
