I've been coming here for years every January when I'm in town for a meeting. Menu in the upstairs cage is solid. Reminiscent of home cooking, it's what I need after a looong day on my feet. The downstairs whiskey bar and music venue is excellent, though I reserve that for my final evening before departure!
Came here last night and had a great time. Street parking is scarce so you're most likely to rely on the multitude of parking garages nearby. Great for groups or casual meet ups and dates. No long lines for entry and security is very circumspect. The bar on the lower level is magnificent. A vast collection that would be the envy of any whiskey enthusiast. On H street, inside Motto by Hilton hotel, there’s also a Whiskey bar downstairs, that’s part of Crimson.The rooftop bar has great DC views with indoor/outdoor seating. On the pricey side but worth checking out their menu or drinks. If you stay at Motto, there’s a promotion for $18 a day food credit at Crimson, you can use to get food/beverages.
