My friend and I decided to take advantage of DC's Restaurant Week and check out Nami Sushi Bar -- and it didn't disappoint. From the appetizer options (both of us checked out the crab rice) to the PLATE of sushi for the main course...and the dessert....pure perfection. Also, as a chopsticks amateur (left-handed, so I'm a lost cause), I appreciate that I didn't get a side-eye from the staff -- which has happened at other places before. We went for happy hour and enjoyed the food, atmosphere and service. We ordered from both the happy hour menu and regular menu. HH prices are $8 vs $12 for similar rolls, with 6 pieces vs 8 for the signature rolls. The crispy shrimp and tuna-avocado rolls were favorites from the HH menu. The Candy Cane roll was excellent (reg menu). Nice experience and service with a smile.
