Zeppelin is always a good experience when craving sushi. Tucked away in Shaw, it is far more neighborhood-y than many other DC sushi establishments, which in my opinion is always a good thing. The prices are high, but not unreasonable, the food and drinks are always good and the vibe is always on point. Be sure to get a reservation if you want a seat, as it does fill up fast, but if you’re comfortable eating at the bar you may be able to snag a seat there without a reservation.
Absolutely delightful dinner at Zeppelin. Had the black miso cod, two maki rolls, wagyu beef nigiri, and the beef spring rolls. Everything was wonderful - highly recommend the miso cod.

Consistently the best sushi in DC, however the service here is terrible. Three times in a row had to wait almost an hour to receive our food. Anytime I order delivery the food is at my door within 20 min.
