Food was great!!! We had the Mahi and the salmon both were cooked and flavored perfectly. The fried brussel sprout appetizer was surprisingly good (and I don't eat brussel sprouts). Nice atmosphere. Fire pit burning out side was also cool. Our waitress, Amanda, was on point and very pleasant. We will definitely spread the word.

This is a bar/restaurant within a Hilton. You should walk in with expectations adjusted as-so. The service is far and away the best aspect of this venue and, well...I would say that is befitting the setting. The bartender Joel is the most personable bartender I have come across, the manager came out personally to tell me they did not stock Egg Whites (that's INSANE, bro!), and in general the service will leave the most lasting impression on me for my stay in Delaware. The food is fairly uninspired, but that is...I don't know. It's expected I guess, but communicates to me more about how much Hilton is willing to invest. What you get with the cowtipper burger is a solid burger cooked the way you want it with some above-average strips of bacon, some awkwardly placed greens and a package wanting for a wetting agent. Something. I tried all the sauces on it and it didn't do the trick. The fries were fantastic, but again lacking for a proper sauce pairing outside of the house ketchup. The ketchup is, however, very good. Nice and thick and flavorful. The ranch and bleu cheese selections are worse than dollar store varieties. Overall...the place is a 4 star for foods. It pretends to be gourmet but falls flat of the expectation. Might even be a 3. The asking price of the burger is $20, which is pretty pricey even accounting for the location for what you get. But for the service, drinks, and the atmosphere...consider me a returning customer. At least until my stay is over.

I was pretty disappointed with our me. I will say last time I went the salmon salad was better than what I tried this time. They made a lot of the portions smaller for same price. The chicken tenders and fries were heavily fried, and not in a good way. The Brussel sprouts were also too oily. The kids pizza seemed like a microwaved lean cuisine. The soft pretzels might be the only good thing on the menu. The wedge salad was ok but the grilled chicken was not good quality. The server was really slow and not at all attentive. Never once got a refill on water.

Please don't make the mistake of ordering steak. If the prices reflected the quality of the food, I would've given 2 or 3 stars. However, when you pay $45 for a steak, mashed potatoes and broccolini, that steak should be excellent. If you know the different grades of steak (select, choice, prime, etc.) you'll understand. Their steaks are of the same quality you'd expect at a cheap buffet or a struggling Chili's. More gristle than expected, and absolutely no marbling or flavor. This is an $8 steak from Walmart all day. Everything else was very basic and bland. The mashed potatoes tasted like they were made hours ago, which is fine if you mix in a little milk and/or butter every hour or so. The broccolini was simply steamed and salted. My estimate in the total cost of the plate is about $9 maximum. They sell it for $45. That's an INSANE markup. I was expecting a USDA Prime, aged New York strip for that price. I HONESTLY would've preferred the chicken wings at the Applebees across the street versus this meal. Not to mention, the server was on her phone the whole time and could care less about me. She was texting someone, as I could see the conversation/chat each time she walked by with her head down. This restaurant needs an overhaul ASAP or it'll become another mediocre spot very quickly. Ambiance: very sad and depressing for a Saturday night. It put me in a bad mood before I ever got my food. The staff seemed either preoccupied with their own personal situations, or miserable that they're at work. Everyone seemed indifferent or cranky. I regret dining here.

My husband and I traveled to Wilmington, DE from Wilmington, NC to photograph a wedding. I have anaphylactic food allergies and was concerned about possibly having a reaction this close to the wedding. We chose to eat at the Market Kitchen and Bar inside of the Hilton Wilmington/Christiana where we are staying. Charles, one of the Chefs, came out to our table and helped me select something that would be safe to eat. I ate the NY strip steak (cooked to perfect medium perfection) and double broccolini. The favor was amazing and they were both cooked perfectly. Charles came out to check on my food and let me know that Keith made my steak. If you have a chance to eat at this Restuarant, I would highly recommend it… especially if you have food allergies. I was kept safe and I got to enjoy a delicious, flavor-filled meal! Thank you gentlemen!!

I had the burger, it was so big and dry it fell apart as soon as I picked it up. I had to use a fork and knife to eat it with a pc packet of mayonnaise. But the bartender was extremely nice.

Here for a business trip, dined twice at the hotel restaurant. Amazing food both times. Had the burger, beef flavor was on point. Bun was like eating fresh bread and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. Final night, had the Angus filet. Potatoes could use some flavor, but the broccoli was fork tender. The mushrooms toppings were perfect, but the filet was heavenly. Barely needed a knife to cut it, and every bite melted flavorfully reminding you that you made the right choice

The food was super over priced for the quality of the food itself. That being said the staff was great! And the atmosphere was sports bar

It's really a 3.5 but I'll give it the "round up" to 4 stars. First off: I spend 200 days a year in hotels, and (because of that) hotel bars and restaurants. Joel is one of THE BEST bartenders, anywhere, ever. I've been many places on extended stays and even after 4-5 visits, the same bartender has no clue who you are. Not Joel. Friendly, personable, remembered my name AND drink. Great bartender. He's 5 stars. Or more. Now: 5 meals in two weeks, three in the bar and two in the room. And full disclosure: former chef. And kind of a food snob/foodie. First one in the room: chicken Caesar and soup of the day (in this case, tomato Basil). Solid enough Caesar. Soup: something lumpy in it (sometimes you add Parmesan for a richness. It felt like it was that which was added and not puréed so it was lumpy and chewy. Decent flavor though). My big problem? You call me at my room, tell me my order is ready, I get back to the room and no plastic ware? Are they thinking I'm eating caesar and soup with my hands? Second meal, in the bar: crab cake sandwich and fries. Again, former chef (spoiler alert for non-chefs: "seasoning" means salt and pepper. Spice is everything else.) so the bland pepper/spice fries desperately need some salt even the menu says "seasoned fries". Ditto the crab cake. Not much flavor. Not horrible, just bland. Third meal, in the bar: burger (cow tipper) and fries. Same bland fries but my Pittsburgh rare burger? Tasty. And perfectly cooked. And juicy and damn! Well balanced and a toasty bun and just terrific all around. Fourth meal, in the bar: chicken Marsala. Terrific. Authentic. Sweet and saucy and perfect like a great Marsala. The mashed and broccolini were solid as well. Fifth meal, in my room: the crispy brussel sprouts and truffle fries. Fries are solid, probably topped with the same Parmesan I found in lumps in my soup the week before, and good dousing of truffle salt. Well thought out. The sprouts are hot, and well seasoned and delicious. But (didn't I learn to look in my bag???) I get back to my room (where they KNOW I am because they called me) and NO PLASTICWARE. I get (maybe) eating the fries with my fingers, but the sprouts?Overall: food/takeout service is a 2.5-3.5. Bartender Joel is a 5.0. So let's call it a 4.0 overall. And improve the takeout-and definitely keep Joel.

This was just about what I needed after a long day in Delaware in December. They have good amount of traffic coming in and the food was pretty good. I've seen one main girl taking orders from most tables (mine included) and she remains upbeat the whole time. Would recommend.

Ambiance was good but the food was terrible...

Nice atmosphere but the food is horrible. I had the crab cake entree. Zero taste. Was not good. I will continue to go to Feby's on Lancaster Pike.
