“My son and I tried Sangam today for lunch. Our first visit here was great! The dining room was very clean and ready for patrons. The lighting was bright and welcoming. They have only been open for a couple days so it was kind of a limited lunch menu. We ordered a veg and non-veg Thali. These come out as several small bowls on a platter surrounding a bowl of rice. It is also served with roti and papadam. We enjoyed this because we were able to try several different items. We are a family that enjoys Indian food quite often. The flavors were so good and fresh. The spice level was good for us. We like spicy but it wasn’t the type of spicy that killed your taste buds. You still wanted to go back for another bite. My son had fountain soda and I enjoyed their mango lassi. The prices are reasonable. The service was also good, we felt taken care of. We will be going back for dinner soon to try some of our Indian cuisine favorites. I really hope the community supports them!“

“We have been driving past this place for few years, and today decided to check it out.
What a treat, amazing genuine Indian food.
And most importantly they have buttermilk!!!
Cashier offered to try and see if we like buttermilk before paying for it. This was sweet… we bought large container after that.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Barwarchi Delaware on Rt 202 and was thoroughly impressed by the kindness and hospitality of the owner.

For my first meal here, I ordered the Chicken Biryani, and I must say, it was marvelous! As someone new to biryani, I was delighted by the high floral notes that made the dish unique compared to other Indian dishes I've tried, such as Tikka Masala. While I enjoy the deep, rich flavors of Tikka Masala, the biryani's lighter, aromatic profile was a delightful new experience.

The meal was accompanied by a Thums Up beverage—a fantastic Indian soda that added to the authenticity of the experience. For dessert, I enjoyed a traditional Indian sweet, Gulab Jamun, it was a delicious, syrup-soaked treat.

Overall, the food was packed with flavor, and the entire dining experience was elevated by the warm and genuine hospitality. I highly recommend Barwarchi Delaware for anyone looking to enjoy authentic and delicious Indian cuisine.
