“Celebrating a Fathers Day reunion, we 5 chose here because we share a love for good, creative Mexican fare... esp. table-made guacamole. Our guac and meals were delicious, as usual here. Our server, Sadie, was cheery and helpful in taking and serving our orders... but... Disappointingly, our table became ignored after we ordered sopapilla dessert. In fact, our dessert was served while our table was still cluttered with our meal dishes and silver, and without fresh dessert plates, spoons, etc. NOT GOOD! Our son then sought a waiter and commandeered plates and tools and we shared the dessert over a debris-strewn table ;-( I cornered the on-duty assistant manager (otherwise unseen for the evening) and shared my frustration with the evident inattention to service detail... he said, "I'll pass that on..." Try harder, folks!“

“We absolutely love Tex Mex. We eat dinner there once or twice a week. The house margaritas are great. $10 and large. The berria is great. Nachos, asado chicken. The bowls are excellent. Everyone is so nice. I can't say enough about this place.“

“Moved back to Wilmington to find this GEM of a restaurant in my neighborhood. The best street tacos and Mexican food in general. My daughter - the fussiest eater - loves the quesadillas and eats everything on her plate. The Mango Margaritas- wowza!!!! The people are so nice - great service. I love the food and as they always say about ethnic restaurants - eat at a restaurant the natives eat because you know it’s genuine food. And it is. Simply the best!“

“Been going here for well over 5 years. Since about 2019. The service is always A1, the food is the bomb diggity and the prices are always reasonable. Whether you get take or dine in (do dine in the atmosphere and everything is worth it) you will have a great experience overall. The tacos are sooooo good they never missed, ever! Don’t even get me started on the drinks, again dine in is recommended. I have done both and 200%, I recommend this place 200% every time. Best tacos in Wilmington.“

“Looks like they are under new management and are now called Aurora's as of July 2025. Haven't tried the food yet but I came inside to say hello to the new owners and they were super nice. Food was fresh tasting and full of flavor. The sauces were excellent. A local eatery that deserves a try. What it lacks in decor is more than made up for by the food and service.
