“I must admit that I am a bit biased, because this is my neighborhood restaurant, but I couldn't ask for a better place to be a regular. The owners bring such a fun, family friendly place to go have great food and atmosphere. The trivia on Thursday is competitive, but such a fun time, and karaoke Saturdays make even the beginners feel comfortable. I honestly can't say enough about how great this place is. It's so much more than a golf club restaurant.“

“DOXA is located in a shopping center next to a church. The ambience is top notch. I like the candles on each table. I also love the design of the shop, which is industrial and modern. Spiral staircase is a nice touch with a cool upper seating area. Staff is friendly and helpful and the menu is diverse and full of options. The pricing is probably accurate due to being local and natural. We tried the lavender infused honey latte which was not too sweet with a fantastic coffee flavor. We asked for extra hot, but it was not, which was the only downside. Overall it's a beautiful shop with quality coffee, a good menu, friendly staff and a gorgeous design.“

It was crisp on the bottom but light and not too thick.Only thing that would have made this better is a beer from High Springs brewery (which is right next door). This place is working on a liquor license so fingers crossed.They have a unique dessert with a clever name called the “Beeramisu” which is a spin-off on Tiramisu. The owner created the recipe and it was delicious.Service : 5/5Wonderful!! Kelly the owner brought the food to our table and checked on us a couple of times. I always think it’s pretty important for a new establishment (open about month) that the owners keep tabs on the customers. “We went for pizza per usual at our favorite pizza shop tonight and let me say this has been one of the best experiences at a restaurant in Gainesville we have had. We ordered a sicilian and our waitress came to tell us it was burnt, and they were making a new one, which is totally fine things happen. So once we got the new pizza they said it wasn’t up to their standards so they were giving us a NEW pizza to bring home for free!!! So two pizzas to bring home. They also discounted the price. They went above and beyond and not to mention they have the best pizza in Gainesville. Fresh ingredients and so yummy. Definitely check them out if you haven’t been? They are so kind.“

“Small Indian Restaurant on Highway while traveling to Orlando. Stopped here while driving to Orlando as we wanted to have some snacks and tea. Samosa and Tea both were good and we also got our dinner packed from them. Small space to eat, but they are good on on their To Goorders more. All in all nice place to stop to have Indian food. Run by Gujarati family.“

“Visited w my parents who were staying at a motel nearby. The service was great, everyone friendly. Our server was very attentive. I was so surprised how good the food was! I ordered the Asian Salmon and it was cooked to perfection. The sauces were SO good! My husband said it was the best fried shrimp he'd ever had. Highly recommend!“

“Went here as I was passing through for my puppies surgery and had a few hours to kill. It is dog friendly and the gave bowls for water for them. I got the One Love Club and Cowboy beans. Both were good. I also special requested the Spiked Strawberry Lemonade. It is such a relaxing place to just hang out at. I was able to sit with my tablet and snack for about an hour or so before his surgery. Staff was really friendly and there was no rush to go anywhere. I was I was able to experience the live music, but I had to fly back out the same day. I would definitely be back when I’m in the area. Just check the hours on their menu as they do close between lunch and dinner.It is an open restaurant, no indoor seating, but there were also no bugs, which was lovely!! I was just happy to find a place that I could take my dog and not be rushed.“

“My husband thoroughly enjoyed his lobster. I had the cedar plank scallops and, although I wasn’t a big fan of the seasoning, they were very nice. (I scraped some of the seasoning off the top.) The cheesy grits and vegetable medley were wonderful. We took advantage of the BOGO entree deal so, my meal was free! We arrived in time to also take advantage of happy hour for our drinks. The band that was playing was excellent, our server - Tally - was delightful, and we met some lovely people and dogs there (we were sitting outside). It was a very nice experience.“
